Welcome to Chestnut Cabin, a cozy 2-story mountain retreat just 3 minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway. Enjoy a hot tub, game room, and a peaceful cabin setting close to all the attractions.

★ The Chestnut Cabin is a cozy, family-friendly cabin just 3 minutes from Parkway.
Guests enjoy quick, easy access to the entirety of the Smokies, while still being far enough off the beaten path to enjoy the peace a cabin should provide. It has been family owned and managed since June 2023!
WINTER NOTE: NO 4WD or ALL WHEEL DRIVE needed to get to our cabin.

-----Layout of the Cabin-----
★ Upstairs: Furnished with a comfortable king bed, well-equipped kitchen, dining area, two recliner loveseats, 58" TV, clothes' drawer, and a play space with a teepee for children. On this level you will also find the full bathroom, a roofed balcony with a hot tub, swinging bench, wall mounted variable speed fan and a sunshade for privacy.
Recently upgraded living room with new comfortable recliners.


★ Downstairs: Separate room with the door for privacy and safety for children. Furnished with a comfortable queen bed, sleeper chair, 84" extra-long convertible chair bed, pool table, multi-game arcade machine, kitchenette, another 58" TV, and a newly installed half bath adjacent to the stacked washer and dryer.

-----Other Information-----
★ Our internet is FAST (400+ Mbps).
★ The hot tub comfortably fits 4 adults and we drain/refill it after each stay.
★ Our TVs are connected to the Wi-Fi , but you must log in with your own accounts to access Netflix, YouTube TV, etc.
★ Our two-player arcade gaming table has many retro arcade games to choose from. Let us know if you set any high scores in the guest book!
★ We have retractable baby gate at the top and the bottom has a door for privacy and to protect toddlers and babies!

★ In order for the booking to be confirmed and a door code to be generated, guests must sign our standard rental agreement and authorize a $300 security deposit hold within 24 hours of booking. These items will be sent in an email to guests when booking is received. Because it’s a credit hold, we, the hosts, do not receive that deposit. Money will only be drawn from it in case of significant damages or excessive cleaning fees that result from neglecting cabin rules and/or improper check-out. The hold only takes effect the day before check-in and is released at most four days after check-out.

We had the best time! This was our 2nd time staying in this sweet, cozy cabin! It was just as perfect this time as it was the last! Always clean and has everything we need! So much thought is put into the accommodations and amenities. The hosts are always such a joy to work with and honestly it feels like we are staying with family!

We Love Chestnut Cabin

We are returning guests from consecutive years. Chestnut cabin has the best host, location & mountain cabin feel. We stay here yearly, because we love it that much!!! The host is the sweetest!!! We appreciate the hospitality!

This was our second time at the chestnut cabin, it is our top favorite place to stay in the SMOKIES! Could not ask for better host! Convenient location, very clean, & has everything you need! I feel like we are family with the host! Such a blessing to find this cabin!

The property was great! Very clean and extra touches everywhere. Laundry soap was provided, we’ve never had that at a VRBO. Also, lots of extras in the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, q-tips etc. Again, not expected but what a great personal touch. We played pool every night and it was easy to log into our accounts on the tv. The cabin brochure helped a lot, along with signs where things were. This is also something we haven’t seen at other properties. Marcel was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. He truly wants his visitors to have a wonderful stay. We went hiking and had a lot of fun. The hot tub was great! Highly recommend!!

3 Generation Girls Getaway

Marcel was very helpful in making sure that we were able to check into the Cabin easily. He was very responsive with every question I asked. The cabin was very comfortable. It was like home! My almost 2 year old granddaughter took naps easily in the 1st floor space. It was nice and dark for her. Marcel had a playpen and highchair for her to use. Everything you could want or need was in the Cabin. It was very refreshing to rent a place that was fully equipped! The Island with the Smoky Mountain Sky Wheel was only a short ride away from the cabin. Ober Mountain was also a short ride away. We had a wonderful long weekend. By the way I played (the baby watched and tried to play) pool and Pac-Man while my daughter worked. The internet worked great for her to work. I will definitely refer my friends if they are looking for a place near Pigeon Forge.

★ My wife and I were both born in Romania and grew up surrounded by the gorgeous Carpathian Mountains which is home to one of the largest undisturbed forests in Europe, much like The Great Smoky Mountains are here. In 2005, we were blessed with an opportunity to move to the United States to offer our family a brighter future full of new possibilities, so we moved to Texas with our three children in tow. Throughout the years we traveled the US often, trying to find a place that reminded us of Romania, a place that made us feel closer to home.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

★ We first visited Pigeon Forge in 2018 and were immediately drawn to the serene beauty of the Smokies which reminded us so much of what we had left behind when we moved here. We picked Pigeon Forge because of its close proximity to the national park, as well as its proximity to all the attractions and child-friendly activities that are offered within minutes of the area. Since that very first time we knew we wanted to find a place in the Smokies that we could call our own and that's how the Chestnut Cabin came about. Our dream is to eventually move to the area but in the meantime, we are content to be able to visit whenever we get a chance! We are glad that we get to share our cabin with you!
