"The Treehouse" is a custom built post and beam home set on a private lane. A short drive will take you to all parts of Mount Desert Island; Acadia National Park, lakes, ponds and beaches, notable gardens, as well as the Villages of Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, and Tremont. Boating, hiking, sightseeing, swimming, boating, farmer's markets and dining are available all over the Island. One can find all levels of great dining from an outdoor lobster pound, a fun food truck with delicious lobster rolls, fine dining, or a cocktail or meal overlooking the water. A ferry is available at the Northeast Town Marina to take you to the Cranberry Islands for more adventure, a meal, or a sightseeing tour by water.
