The cabin and property is in a state of severe disrepair. The cabin was clean, but bedding and furniture seemed as old as the building. Most windows did not open, walls & ceiling were separating do to the building leaning. No hot water, A few of the marina docks are collapsing into the water. I paid for two nights but I was not comfortable staying the second night. If it was advertised as a rustic cabin for the sports fisherman who needs a place to crash, it would be acceptable. But for a couples weekend getaway it was not comfortable. (We also brought our dog who loved the place but found a large opening under the house and got its lead wrapped up around some posts. I had to climb under neither the house to rescue her.) I did not mention any of this to management. I just wanted to leave and be done with it. My fault for not researching more. Better pictures on the VrBo site would have been helpful. Thank you.
Nice centrally located fishermanâs cottage. A bit broken down (rustic) , but very clean which is always my main criteria. It has a nice little deck facing the river. They also have docks. I stayed with my 2 boys and it was a pleasant stay. Owner responded quickly to emails.
This cottage is unique, plenty of room for 3 adults. Host is getting a new lock for the front door, which we could never unlock. The floors are not even, there is one step into the bedroom. The shower is nice, the beds are firm. The view is beautiful, we saw loons and swans from our window.
