Welcome to this quaint vintage upstairs apartment as part of a large 1800's home. Cozy and comfortable with all your basic necessities. Private off street parking in the heart of the village of Medina. You are walking distance from downtown unique shops, boutiques and restaurants. It is less than an hour drive to Niagara Falls, Buffalo and Rochester and about 15 minutes from Lake Ontario (famous for fishermen). The space Expect a private entrance to this apartment which is attached to my home. It is a full apartment with a small kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom with lots of natural light. In the warmer months there is also a private upstairs balcony to relax and enjoy.
Accurate listing, apartment had all the necessary tools for a great weekend stay. Beautiful area close to big cities but outside enough to be quiet and peaceful. Lovely neighbourhood for walks etc. Plenty to do and see all around. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Property and host are great very friendly and courteous
Property was clean and neat, wonderful old house with character. I highly recommend staying here, and would like to stay again when we come back in town. Thank You Sari you have a great house in a beautiful neighborhood
Quiet and private, which is exactly what I needed. You'll probably smack your toes on the baseboards, leaving the bedroom, but otherwise a great place to stay in a beautiful part of the country.
My husband and I were in Medina for a college reunion this weekend and stayed at this property. The owner was great at communicating when we asked about early check in. It's a private upstairs apartment in her home (with private entrance) and in a very nice neighborhood. Simple, small and clean -- exactly what we needed for our stay.
This lady accomadated more than she had agreed to. Nice, quick, comfortable space. Couldn't have asked for a better host and experience. Recommend 1000%.
Older home, but very convenient. My only comment would be to warn people that the stairs leading to it are narrow, and steep. Apartment is small, but all I needed. There is no clock in the bedroom, so if you need an alarm, come prepared.
Nice coffee and breakfast food. Great temperature controls. Comfy towels and wash cloths in bathroom.
Distance from bedroom, thru living room & kitchen, then hard right turn to bathroom was a bit long. Maybe living room and bedroom could be switched, so sleeping guests are closer to bathroom. Microwave should be on counter top not on top of refrigerator. This is a danger handling hot liquids exit from microwave. Keypad entrance is a little loose (wobbly) on door -needs tightening. More explanation is needed for keypad entry proceedure. Comfortable, quiet surroundings. Plenty of rest acquired. Will
We had a lovely time in Medina - there was a lot to do within walking distance, and many parks to visit within driving distance. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the host was accessible and responsive when we had a question. We used the kitchen while we were there and had everything we needed. Would love to stay here again and explore more of Medina!
This was me and a friend of mineâs 2nd time staying here for our salmon fishing trip. This is the perfect place to come back and relax after a long day on the creek! We love it and will definitely be back again!
Hi! I am motivated, determined, and driven. I am currently in graduate school to acquire a degree in speech language pathology. I love to uplift and provide help for others. My pets are also an important part of my life, but most of all, I am fortunate that my children are right by my side every step of my journey. I love to exercise and I'm pushing myself more and more each year. I love running, swimming, biking and working out in the gym. Hosting has brought a lot to my life. I meet so many great people, from all different parts of the world. It has also provided me with the opportunity to go to grad school and for that I am very grateful.
I have owned this property for years and have enjoyed my many close neighbors nearby. My property is in a wonderful and safe part of town. I'm sure you will hear some dogs barking at times as Medina is a farming community and there's not many people here without pets. I have a private driveway and private parking and the entire area behind my house is fenced.
My house is quite old, built in the 1800's. I've put a lot of hard work into these apartments, they are my "pride and joy." They are by no means complete though, and I can't wait to do more. You will find old decorative hinges on the doors, arched doorways, plaster and lathe, original wood floors and original trims in most areas. These older aspects of the home give it much character but also come with squeaky floors, loose door handles, and doors that expand in the summer which makes them not close without a little shove. I have felt so good in this home since the day it was purchase and hope you feel the same when you stay.
