Property was very clean and the neighborhood is very quiet. My family lives nearby, and we only needed a place to sleep and shower, so it was perfect for 4 adults. The water pressure in the shower is amazing! There is only one small TV in the living room. We did not get any check-in information ahead of time, (maybe this is normal), although the host responded very quickly to our questions. Would definitely stay there again!
Easy check-in, great communications with the host, and as clean as any model property. Quiet neighborhood, with parking right at the front door. Most importantly, the family enjoyed it. Iâd definitely stay again.
My family and I stayed June 2024. When we walked in it smelled clean and fresh. Richmond was very hot that weekend, the ac worked very well. Kitchen was well stocked. Easy access to washer/dryer. Stayed with my handicapped mother, so having a 1st floor bathroom was great. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels and wash rags. Neighborhood was quiet, never heard any neighbors or outside noise. Enjoyed taking my morning coffee on the enclosed back patio. Would definitely re-book this property.
We recently stayed at this townhouse and had a pleasant experience overall. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, and close to family. It was clean and well-maintained. The owner was responsive and addressed our questions quickly.
However, there were a few issues. The number of beds listed in the advertisement did not match what was available, resulting in one of us sleeping on a rollaway bed and another on a trundle bed. An update to the listing to reflect this accurately would be helpful. The water dispenser in the fridge started leaking, and maintenance came the next day and turned it off. The living room couch had an unpleasant smell, resembling urine, which was off-putting. There were not quite enough towels and washcloths provided, and although the owner promised more would come the next day, they never arrived. The ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms couldn't be turned on as there was no chain or visible remote. These issues can easily be remedied.
Additionally, the pricing structure was a bit misleading. The house was advertised as sleeping 8, but an extra guest fee after 4 people increased the cost significantly. There was also a hidden insurance fee/deductible that was only revealed at the finalization stageâeither a $5,000 refundable deductible or a nonrefundable fee of $119, which we were not expecting.
Our stay was mostly positive and met many of our needs, addressing these issues could improve the experience for future guests.
