Come enjoy a true coastal vacation at Salt on the Rim! This incredible, newly remodeled 3BR / 2B beach home is perfect for 1 to 2 families or a group of friends. Designed with style and comfort in mind, Salt on the Rim offers a spacious open concept. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs, beautiful dining table that seats 6, with 2 additional seats at the kitchen counter. Enjoy your morning coffee or cocktail on the private balcony as you take in all the views Salt on the Rim offers. The backyard features a sparkling private pool, charcoal grill, poolside seating and a fenced yard. Enjoy cruising to your favorite Port A hot spots in the six-passenger golf cart (short term stays only) that comes with the house for your entire stay. If you are looking for a memorable beach vacation in Port Aransas, come stay at Salt on the Rim!

Things to know:

WIFI- We provide WIFI to enhance your stay and keep you connected. While Port A is typically reliable, you may experience occasional outages beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding.
Private pool- Pools are serviced weekly, upwards of twice per week during the summertime. Services may be performed while occupied.
Golf cart included for entire stay, Short term rentals only. Subject to a $10.00 fuel charge.

Fully equipped kitchen-drip coffee maker-please bring coffee and filters.

An awesome place to unwind!!!

If you are looking for a quiet place to unwind then this is it! Great neighborhood that is off the beaten path with beautiful sunsets! The pool was nice and relaxing and the Golf Cart was a huge bonus! We will definitely be back!!!

Great Beach House

We enjoyed our stay. neighborhood is nice. House is cute, it was clean, and loved that we could bring our dog. Pool was smaller than in the picture but we enjoyed having it. I would stay here again.

The house was very spacious and clean. We also had some very kind staff bring us some charcoal and lighter fluid for grilling. Overall great experience!

Perfect for family of 4 and two dogs

Really enjoyed the home. More than enough space for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. Quiet location with only a 5 - 10 minute golf cart ride to a wide variety of family friendly restaurants, ice cream, beach, shops or night life. The pool was just enough to cool us off after a dog walk before we headed to the beach. Couldn’t be happier.

Nice House

Family of four stayed, my wife, myself self and two children under the age of 4 stayed. Golf cart was a great amenity along with the swimming pool. King bed was hard but comfortable, queen bed nobody slept on but felt very soft. And bunk bends in the kids room was nice. Kitchen has all the necessity of what you would expect. Floors were a little dirty but its expected in a beach town. Loved how close it was to the beach, the ferry, and heart of Port A. But tucked back away in a very quite safe neighborhood. As always beach of Port A is great, but make sure you do get to the beach early as it gets super packed with cars/ trucks/ golf carts :)

Peaceful

At arrival I was dissapointed in the location. I didnt realize it was across 361. However, we ended up enjoying the location. It was a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The golf cart was a huge plus. We enjoyed riding back and forth to the beach and shopping in town. The pool was an added bonus. Its small but accommodated our family perfectly. Beach gear credit was super Didnt have to pack chairs, body boards or a canopy. Master bed is much too firm for my taste. Rest of the beds were comfortable. Master room ceiling fans ticks like its out of balance. Curtians on the bedroom windows would be nice because the lights from neighbors shine in at night. Property management team was fantastic. Overall, we would stay here again.

Cute and Cozy

We loved our experience and stay here. The house was adorable and very eclectically decorated. It was very clean and we were able to check in and out with ease. The pool is where we spent most of our time. Everything you would need to grill/cook was available in the kitchen. The only negative about our entire trip were the giant aggressive swarming mosquitoes- which we know is a coastal thing this time of year and after rain - but my gosh, they were awful. We wondered if there was more that could be done like spraying the yard or something. We hosed ourselves with Off spray and it didn’t hinder our overall experience at all. It was just a constant battle. We loved the golf cart provided only the seat belts didn’t function properly due to being rusted and they wouldn’t clasp. Again, tiny issue for us, and we would 100% stay here again. Neighbors were super friendly, too!

I have a few different things to say about this place. 1st, I think the location is good. It’s easy to get to and I really like being on the older part of town (which I like to call it).. 2nd our family weekend trip that we had planned for months ended up raining all weekend. Which is no one’s fault but, for any others, for future reference the garage/carport underneath does hold lots of water. Again no one’s fault really just mother nature, but standing water everywhere where you park and to go up the stairs.. 3rd.. I kinda had an issue with the pool.. it was dirty when we got there. I understand you go to the beach and you come back and Jump in the pool, it was more than just sand. And when I called to ask if someone could come clean it the lady was very nice but also said the pool was scheduled to be cleaned the next day. I asked what happens if we are swimming when this person comes to clean.. she said we would get out and wait for him to finish and if chemicals need to be added then more than likely we would have to wait to get back in. That frustrated me a little, because now I felt like we paid to have to house and pool and then we potentially may not be able to use it for x-amount of time (we have little kids).. she also said she could not give out the pool guys info—okay whatever. We dealt with that. 4th the house came with a golf cart. When we arrived at the house, I thought someone was there. The golf cart had sand all in it like it came from the beach…
