Stay and play in LaJuana Iguana; this cozy home is just steps from all of the activities in Port A! Sunny days and tropical breezes are guaranteed; a perfect place to relax; rejuvenate; and relish all the greatness you came to expect for your stay in Port Aransas. LaJuana Iguana is in town; walking distance to the Texas Gulf Coast and provides an amazing private pool for your enjoyment after a fun day in the sun. As you enter into this lovely home you are greeted with an open floor plan including the kitchen; dining and living. The fully stocked kitchen has plenty of room for more than one chef. The dining table has ample seating for all of your guests to dine after a day by the pool. Enjoy additional seating at the breakfast bar. Lounge in the living area and watch your favorite shows on huge 75' 4KHD flat screen Smart TV with Sony surround sound. For additional sleeping arrangements the living area offers three queen size sleeper sofas. The master bedroom is located on the first floor. The master features a plush king size bed with a large 50' 4KHD flat screen Smart TV. The master bathroom offers a full size bathroom with a walk in shower. Making your way upstairs you will find two other guest bedrooms. The guest bedroom offers a queen size bed with a 50' 4KHD flat screen Smart TV. This guest bedroom offers outdoor seating on the shared balcony. The full bathroom is outside the bedroom. The other guest bedroom is a master suite with a 50' 4KHD flat screen Smart TV and a private en-suite. The third full size bathroom is located in the hallway between the guest bedrooms. The sleeping arrangements are perfect for a group of adults; fishermen; or families. LaJuana Iguana has a private sitting area off the living room with outdoor seating and outdoor dining to enjoy the warm breezes. Enjoy the private pool after a hot day at the beach. Relaxing stay. Just what we needed

We need a few days to unwind and recharge from a non-stop month-long road trip. The hot tub, sofa, and relaxing atmosphere did the trick. Sure, we could have stayed up late partying, but that is not what we needed. Perfect!

Engagement/Birthday

Walked in and it was nice and cold inside, very clean and nicely decorated. My dogs had bowls for them and several doggy doors, a real plus . The pool A++, my 7 year old grandson was excited to have all the pool time he wanted, and it gave me the time to enjoy my family/husband due to our heavy work schedules. We will be back!! And hope to stay here again. Thanks for the memories.

Relaxing at LaJuana Iguana

Location was superb to beach. We rented a golfcart so it was easy to get to and from the beach. Pool and a hot tub was perfect combo for afternoons/evenings. Comfortable beds. Even sofa pull out was comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous!

House was exceptional! The decor is warm and inviting, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.It was too cold during our stay to enjoy the pool; however, the hot tub was a warm welcome. We spent most of our afternoon enjoying it. I would definitely recommend this location and I look forward to staying there again in the future..

I stayed at three properties over the summer and this home was by far the best. The pool and jacuzzi were awesome along with the privacy fence. Entrance to the beach was around the corner. The ice maker in the garage was a life saver. The only minor things for me were, the pillows were really firm and the futons weren't very comfortable for an adult, but would be fine for small children. When I posted the stay on social media, several family members asked for the address. Definitely a fun spot for family stay.

Family Beach Trip

The house was perfect for our whole family. The house is so close to the beach. We loved the pool and hot tub. Very clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find the owners have left games to play, a blow dryer, complimentary soap/shampoo/conditioner/body wash in every bathroom! Even laundry soap, dishwasher soap, and a sponge & dish soap.

Loved home had 1 story master, kitchen & living area

The home was so lovely & clean. Very cutely decorated. We loved having fenced yard, private pool & hot tub along with included golf cart. We took elderly parents and another couple. Just having a master bedroom and bathroom on first floor is rare and really great find. We will definitely stay again.

We rent this house every time we come to Port Aransas. The house is perfect in size, decor and with the pool and hot tub. The previous stay to this one the house looked a little rough and had cockroaches but this time it looked refreshed and no bugs. The only issue we tend to have every time is getting the golf cart key. We sign and send all the needed information and still run into issues it never fails. But we love coming and staying at this house. We will see you again soon!!!

Perfect!

Home was perfect for relaxing. Short walk/ride in the golf cart to the beach, food, and shopping. Pool was clean and refreshing! Only issue was water pressure when more than one shower was going at a time. Other than that minor element, it was perfect!

Home Nice, Service Needs Improvement

My family and I stayed for 5 nights. The first night someone showed up in the backyard messing with the pool, caller the service to confirm they were supposed to be there and never got a call back. Notice of showing up in the backyard would have been nice, especially since it was a private heard. Called service the third evening because we had no hot water, no one ever came for service. Fourth day, called in the morning to have hot water fixed, service guy came and said it was fixed but was not working the next time we tried to use it. Fourth night called again for hot water, a guy came out and reset it but was unable to fix it so we didn't get hot water. Overall didn't have hot water for over half our stay. Office asked the last day if this was ever corrected, I answered no and have never gotten a call apologizing for the inconvenience.

Awesome Beach House

The house was seconds away from the beach. It has flat screen TVs in each room, decorated beautifully, with every luxury amenity that you could ask for while on vacation. I highly recommend LaJuana- Iguana, begrudgingly so, because, it's not going to remain the best kept secret on the island very long!😊

2nd time back

This was our 2nd time back yo LaJuana Iguana as a family to this home. Our first stay was so great we didn't want to book anywhere else. Location is fantastic and we loved the privacy the home offered. I would have given my review a 5 star review but sadly the lot next door was purchased and now construction has begun. Half of our stay we had to listen to the construction from morning till the evening. So our pool experience wasn't the most relaxing but we made the most of it by turning up the music outside. We also had a power surge in the home which we believe was due to the construction as well which tripped the alarm in the home. We had to call silver sands to get maintenance out to turn it off which took them some time to attend to but they ultimately got it fixed. The house and pool was very clean and we really had everything we needed. Overall we had a great time but with the new home being built next door im not sure we will book this home again due to lack of privacy in the the future. However we will be booking again with Silver Sands they do a wonderful job attending to our needs and managing the property.

R & R at La Juana Iguana

The house was great! Very neat and clean! We enjoyed swimming and lounging around the pool. Only problem we encountered was the coffee maker. We needed instructions; never did get it to work. Overall we had a great time! Would definitely stay at La Juana Iguana again!

We love La Juana Iguana

This was our 2nd stay here. We enjoyed our stay again. Great property and is perfect for our family. Unfortunately there was a tropical storm during our stay. The golf cart brakes didn't work. We would've brought it in to silver sands but it rained 2 straight days, which was also why it wasn't filled up with gas.

Great House, Logistically Challenged

Let me start by saying having a composite score makes the 4 stars difficult, so I'm going to break this into two sub reviews. House- 5 stars! House was great! Walk to beach was quick and easy if you go through the side gate. Very well appointed in terms of kitchen supplies (pots, pans, etc). Clean. Lots of linens available. Tons of space and the decor was new and fresh. And we LOVED that the bedrooms had individual ACs to keep it like an icebox at night. The outdoor space had something for everyone. Honestly, we could have stayed at the house the whole time. Oh, and the ice maker was a great touch. Huge bathrooms too! Golf cart that came with rental was in great shape and came in handy. Property Management - 3 stars. We originally rented through VRBO, with the understanding it was a managed property. When we got our confirmation through Silver Sands, we got multiple emails with multiple confirmations at different addresses. So I had to call to make sure the reservation was correct. We had ordered a bunch of kids stuff to be at the house (play mat, outdoor water table, kids booster, jumper, bag of toys, etc. I called to confirm and they took payment immediately. We when arrived, did not see the items. Turned out the agent who took the reservation didn't pass it on. So they showed up after with a random mix of stuff that wasn't what we asked for (except for bag of toys). I still was charged full amount. The inconvenience of the call/wait would have been okay if they would have corrected the charge, but we essentially got charged $85 for a bucket of toys that would have been $15 to buy because nothing else they delivered was what we ordered. Then the golf cart…. First night when we went to use the cart we couldn't find the keys. I called Silver Sands after hours line and they were rude saying the golf cart was through a different Silver Sands group and I needed to contact them (even though I originally booked this all through VRBO to alleviate any hassle of multiple parties). Called the after hours cart line for 30 mins before someone picked up. They were able to give me the code to the lock box, but feel like this should have been sent in advance instead of me having to make multiple phone calls to track it down. Silver Sands needs to work a little harder on the continuity of the package they offer under a “one stop shop” VRBO listing. Ultimately, loved the house, but if it was still being managed under Silver Sands, I may reconsider booking it.

A Relaxing Vacation

When you want to get away with out going far! La Juana Iguana has all the necessities and luxuries to enjoy you peaceful time with the family! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
