Spacious home with large kitchen and all the essential for cooking at home, including a lobster feast! We enjoyed our 3 night stay immensely, easily visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia, along with having all we needed right in Ellsworth. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean. Perfect location. Fogtown was within walking distance. The location was a great HQ to make trips into Bar Harbor and Acadia. Everything was great. I'd recommend the property without any hesitation.

We enjoyed our stay! We were a short walk to the town where there are good places to eat and a excellent coffee shop. Also a short drive to Acadia National park.

Lovely, newly renovated property in quiet Ellsworth

This property is newly renovated and is lovely. The owner has thought of so many extras to make your stay welcoming and easy. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 3 of us to spread out. I highly recommend this place to stay. It is an easy 1/2 hour from Acadia in quiet Ellsworth. Great location!

Great place to stay!

The location is only 30 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia. The whole interior has been renovated and it is spotless! It was great for my teenage boys to have their own space. So much better than staying in a hotel. The host was very responsive. We could not have asked for better.

Family weekend with our Mainer college kids

This freshly remodeled home was the perfect place for a family weekend with our kids attending different colleges in Maine. Everyone had their own space and could come and go as they wished, downtown Ellsworth is only two blocks away. The owner was quick to respond to questions, check-in was easy, we had no issues at all during our stay.

Enjoyable Ellsworth Experience

We are two adult couples who were privileged to spend three days at this property during the beautiful fall foliage season. We were impressed with the cleanliness, brightness, and functionality of this nicely remodeled home. The location was convenient for exploring Acadia National Park and the Bar Harbor vicinity. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for your hospitality.

Excellent!

The house was very clean and had plenty of space for everyone. The communication with the property manager and the booking process was fast and easy. The house looked just like the pictures shown. We loved how the house is located close to downtown making it easy to walk to the park, get dinner or just a stroll through town. The views of the water were great in the mornings and evenings. We highly recommend this property and will be booking a stay again soon!

Brand New Everything

The house is about four blocks from downtown restaurants and shopping. The house itself is perfect for accommodating four adults. Everything was “brand new” (and worked) as Daryl advertised. The neighborhood was quiet and quite pleasant. The drive to Acadia National Park Visitor Center took about 30 minutes.

Great little home away from home

Overall, we were very pleased with the home! It was very well stocked with all the things we needed (extra toilet paper and paper towels). Everything was very clean and organized. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because the sofa bed was absolutely terrible! very hard and uncomfortable. Therefore, I had to go buy an air mattress for one of my children to be able to sleep! Also, when we arrived at the house it was 80°. There is NO central heat and air. There are only two window units one upstairs and one downstairs. It did finally cool off but it took four hours to get back down to 70°. I love the neighborhood it was in and the location is near Walmart and many restaurants, which was nice and convenient..

Im sorry that the pull out sofa was uncomfortable but it is a pull out sofa. We are in Maine, window A/C units and heat pumps are what we use to cool. You will not see a residential house in this area with central air.

Disappointed

House was clean but all furniture and fixtures were cheap and flimsy. Mostly wobbly. Bed sheets were so thin and I did not see another bed sheet there, so are reusing those. 4 coffee filters, 4 dis washing capsules, no shampoo, no conditioner. Towels were so cheap, it may come apart soon. Downstairs there was an Window A/C, any one can cut it out come in . It is unsafe. VBRO need to check the facility or should have a requirement for the owners or have someone check it out before u rent it out. You need to have a system to check out the house or should have a list of required items for a house. when u come to stay in a house, we expect certain items to be there as the basic, and it was not there. we were very disappointed. Will not be using VRBO in future if u do not have a good answer. I hope you consider my complaint important enough to warrant an action so that others dont have to suffer as much

There is a list of amenities that you must have ignored when booking with us and shampoo and conditioner are not on it. There is however enough dishwasher packets, hand soap, laundry detergent to accommodate anyone who stays a week or less. We don't leave all of the extra bedding out, the sheets on the bed should have been good enough to accommodate your three day stay. We do wash everything after every stay. As far as the coffee filters go, I guess the keurig that was also on the counter next to the coffee maker with the K-cups weren't sufficient enough? You are the first person to have complained about anything major in our house to no surprise to us with all of the problems we had with you after booking. This guest tried to get our keycode without paying his remaining balance before hand. I had to spend 2 hours going back and forth between him and VRBO. We have had nothing but excellent 5star reviews (17-5☆ reviews to be exact) from almost everyone that has stayed. I would definitely not recommend this guest to any other host. We pride ourselves on having a super clean rental and that is shown in our reviews.

I've lived in the Ellsworth area my entire life. I own and operate a construction company with my family building custom homes in the Hancock county area. This property was our first investment home so we completely renovated and brought it back to life for others to enjoy while on vacation.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This house is located within a two minute walk to Fog Town brewery and historic Main Street with locally owned shops and restaurants. It's the perfect location and only a short drive to MDI where the the Park is located. We couldn't go wrong for this location
