Located directly on the beach at the very popular Pelican Beach Resort right in the heart of beautiful Destin. This non-smoking two bedroom/two-bathroom condo is beautifully renovated with; a brand-new kitchen, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and brand-new kitchen cabinets. Updated bathrooms with new cabinets, granite counters, great lighting and a comfort height toilet. We also upgrade the furniture on a consistent basis to keep the condo clean and fresh including a brand new and very high-end queen-sized sleeper sofa and loveseat just this year. The condo includes a big 55" diagonal Flat Screen HDTV with a DVD player and a great cable package! Both the primary and guest bedrooms are also fitted with 32” flat panel TV's. Our condo is beautifully decorated and very well maintained so you can be sure of a very comfortable vacation stay! The condo has highspeed wireless internet so you can surf the web while sitting out on the balcony watching the beautiful surf of the Gulf of Mexico! This unit is located on the 4th floor and comes complete with an absolutely stunning view of the Gulf, the beach and the lagoon style pool from the full-length balcony which is accessible through large glass sliding doors from both the living room and primary bedroom. This upscale resort is ideally suited to families with a two beautiful lagoon pools, an indoor / outdoor kids pool, gulf front sixteen-person hot tub and an additional large indoor/outdoor pool.
The property also boasts; three pools including a brand-new gulf front pool with sixteen-person hot tub, beach service, huge sunning deck, exercise room, steam room, sauna, convenience store, delicatessen and a beachside bar. The property is close to many excellent restaurants via either a short walk or short drive, local attractions such as theme parks, mini golf and go-carts. The shopping is beyond belief with the USA's largest designer outlet mall only ten minutes away with other major shopping areas even closer.
This is truly a family destination resort with more than enough activities available to keep everyone entertained for a week or more. The Destin weather and the powdered sugar like sand will make for an excellent vacation experience!

Perfect Location in Destin!

This condo is located in the Pelican Beach Resort. The location is excellent. The resort itself is directly on the beach, has multiple pools, onsite cafe and tiki bar. The resort is within walking distance to several restaurants and grocery store. It is also a short car ride to many other excellent attractions and restaurants in Destin. The condo itself was perfect for my family of three. Plenty of space. Fully stocked kitchen. Some beach items (we did break our own beach towels). There is a toy box on the beach where many people leave floats, sand toys, etc. We had access to items daily thanks to this box. We had no issues at all with the condo!

Wonderful beach getaway!!

Everything about this property was perfect with incredible views over looking the beach from the living room and master bedroom. The cleanliness and comfort of the condo was exactly everything we could ask for. The property owner was spectacular at communication and provided wonderful recommendations. Cannot say enough about this property, you cannot be disappointed with any stay here. Highly recommend!

Condo was extremely nice, very clean, and comfortable. Great amenities. Enjoyed the stay! Short walk to the beach…with a stop at the tiki bar on the way. Close to several great restaurants. We had a nice relaxing stay. Condo owner quickly responded to any questions. We look forward to returning.

Great Vacation

We had an amazing vacation. The condo was nice and clean. Everything was as pictured. The resort itself was nice and clean with friendly staff. The water was beautiful. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. The condo even had a few beach items in the closet for use which was awesome. We added a beach umbrella, fishing pole, and some sand toys for others to enjoy. Highly recommend this condo and owner. We plan on coming back!

Everything went smooth till property sold 5 days before. New owner was great to work with and held the unit for us to get a refund from previous owner. Unit was as described.

Very clean, love this property

We had an excellent stay. This property was very clean upon arrival and beautiful views. Some construction noise due to ongoing work but it did not impact our stay. Workers were courteous. This property is a gem and so well maintained. Pools warm, grounds clean, liked the additional security keeping everything enjoyable for all ages. Beachfront is just gorgeous, even had dolphins in the surf. Recommend this owner, great communication. We will absolutely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and this vacation rental. The pool, hot tub and ocean exceeded our expectations. Room was spacious. The only demerits were the construction workers who began work at 8 am each day which awoke me. Suggest if possible change this until to 830 or 900. Lady at check in and front desk not exactly friendly and you could tell that she was not happy being there. However, that being said, we really enjoyed our stay and would consider going back.

Solid property. Positive owner communication and interactions.

Mike's unit was as described in terms of amenities. The unit was very clean but could use some TLC (paint baseboards & doors, fix water leak area in master bedroom, new small appliances in the kitchen). Overall served our needs. The downside of our stay was the unexpected construction going on at the resort (jack hammering out concrete balconies), this made it very tough to relax and enjoy the ocean atmosphere or enjoy our balcony because concrete dust was blowing on us. I reached out to Mike and he was unaware this was happening. Mike offered to refunded us a portion of our rent if we decided to leave early. We ultimately did decide to cut our vacation short and appreciated Mike's generosity and guest care.

The accomodations were comfortable and we enjoyed the remodeled kitchend bathrooms. We enjoyed sitting on the deck but would prefer an update on the deck furniture. The location was great with many attractions within 3 miles.

Can’t Complain But Needs A Few Things Addressed

Overall, can’t complain too much being on the beach on vacation. But there is a few things that could’ve gone better: 1. There was a few issues in the kitchen of the condo, we reached out to the property manager and the front desk and no one addressed the issue while we were there. 2. There was some holes and what looked like water damage in the master bedroom that needed repair. 3. The beach service for chairs/umbrellas were so terribly rude!! The resort itself was pretty nice! Multiple pools, hot tub, cafe, grilling area, and a cafe! There were multiple other people who had several issues while at their stay, too. Wasn’t just us.

The Pelican Beach resort condo was beautiful. Excellent location for the Harbor Boardwalk. The beach was beautiful and the ocean was great. The condo was well stocked and very clean. Super view of the ocean from the balcony.

The resort itself was good but communication with the owner was not.

When we arrived they charged my son’s credit card for remaining balance that had already been paid. The heating element in dishwasher was completely severed and when I told owners he did nothing. There was a flip flop under master dresser that wasn’t ours, my confirmation said checkout at 11 and it was 10am when caused confusion us and front desk. I’ll stay there again but with a different owner. The resort was great. Clean pools, easy access to beach. Loved the tiki bar!

Misleading listing

Hello everything was great, and we would definitely stay again. However, the listing is misleading. Check in is listed at 4pm. We specifically made arrangement to arrive by 3pm so we could be ready for our 4pm check-in. Upon arrival I was informed check-in was between 4-6. I contacted the owner and he stated that was correct and he had no control over housekeeping. I understand it that is fine but you should really list check in correctly on your listing so people can plan accordingly. We would have made stops along with way if we knew this in advance. Everything else about the condo/location was excellent.
