The hospitality was impeccable! We had people coming from 3 states and arriving at different times due to various airlines issues and the host was beyond accommodating!! The home was clean and beds very comfortable. We all Really appreciate everything and we will definitely send referrals their way.
We come to New Orleans for the history and the home definitely knocked that out of the park. A beautiful historic building just blocks off the French quarter. Be advised itâs in an area thatâs noisy at night on the weekends but I feel thatâs to be expected near the quarter. Host is very communicative and available if needed.
I recently stayed at a fantastic VRBO in New Orleans with family & friends, and it was an unforgettable experience! The property was beautifully maintained, perfectly located near vibrant hotspots, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
This house was gorgeous and very clean! The property manager responded quickly and clearly to any of our questions. We were able to park two cars in the gated driveway. We used Lyft and Uber to get around. We had a blast! Canât wait to go back!
The house was beautiful and worked great for our group of 9. The only downside was the neighborhood. It was right next to the freeway and was in a very bad area of town. Very noisy at night making it hard to sleep well. Other than that we had a visit
We stayed 3/2-3/5 for my hubs 50th birthday. The house was fantastic. So much space and personality. The only issue was the outside noise. We didnât go to NOLA to sleep so it wasnât much of an issue. We walked to the festivities with no issues. The house was great! Weâd definitely stay here again!
The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the house was clean. The staff was very helpful and assisted us quickly in regards to parking. The neighborhood was loud in the evening- both traffic and people. We will use this service if we return to visit.
Ten family members stayed for a long weekend to attend our daughter's wedding. The house was clean, the kitchen equipped, and the neighborhood convenient. It's an architecturally interesting old house. We enjoyed being able to walk to many activities and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.
This is a gorgeous home. It is situated in the historic Treme neighborhood. Be aware that there is a lot of activity on Sundays around the location. It is bussling and noisy, but usually calms down by 11:00 pm. The upstairs can get warm, but is comfortable enough. You do have a great parking space by the house with a gate.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Mardi Gras vacation at this rental property! Nestled in a vibrant, urban neighborhood, conveniently located close to the expressway, this beautiful and spacious property met all of the quintessential needs. Plenty of bathrooms and space to stretch out for all 8 of our guests. We were even greeted with a charcuterie and a king cake upon arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of the front porch which was enclosed by a magical wall of bamboo. This is the perfect place for a large group who wants an authentic New Orleans experience.
Older historic property with plenty of room, and it is close to the quarter. We had no problem walking over or taking rideshares to where we wanted to go.
Something to note - Bring a white noise machine. The highway does get pretty noisy, and it seemed like people liked to use the main road outside to race in the evening. We brought a white noise machine with us and that helped drown out the noise immensely.
We ended up leaving immediately and staying at a nearby hotel due to the location shown in the map on VRBO being different from the actual location. On the map it shows up as 3 blocks south of I10, in reality its backed up against I10 at overpass. We stayed elsewhere due to concerns for safety of our car and selves.
I understand this is not the fault of the owner but instead due to the way VRBO shows the location on their map. However, this makes a huge difference and led to us not staying. The listing does state that it is near overpass.
Les points faibles : Emplacement et exactitude de lâannonce
LOCATION NOT ACCURATE
This property is LITERALLY looking at the I-10 underpass. The âpinâ for the location shows the property about 3 blocks away but that is not the case. The pin does not change after booking but with the address you can plug in to g00gle earth and see that the I-10 is in the front yard. A previous review actually brought my attention to this, and the property owner claims that he has alerted VRBO to this issue and that they have done nothing to remedy it. This area of town is not somewhere I would ever stay again, however I will say we did not have any issues aside from the constant noise and partying happening under the underpass.
The house itself was fine - definitely old, but we knew that going in. The water pressure was the biggest issue, but we managed.
Iâm leaving a poor review simply for the fact that I felt/feel the location is completely misrepresented.
The Claiborne house was super cool for us to rest our heads after long days & nights in NOLA. It is old so you need to get comfy with the traffic noise outside, but that was just a small point for us. We had 6 gents that could get comfortable, spread out, most having their own room. The beds we comfortable and everything was as advertised. The property owners were very communicative and clear, which made everything easy.
We had a great experience staying here. Lauren and Nichole were amazing. They were super helpful from the day we booked to the day we checked out. They let me mail shirts to their office so that I didnât have to fly down with them and they even went the extra mile neatly hanging them up in preparation for my friends and I before we arrived. We asked about early check in and they worked with me to make sure we had a place to put our bags and when we were short a bed they helped us out with an additional room. The house was also located in a great location and it was a manageable walk each night from the house to the heart of the French quarter and a quick cab ride to restaurants and parades. I feel like we couldnât have asked for more from the house and 1000% couldnât have asked for more from our hosts. We would definitely stay here again. 10 out of 10!

Property was as listed, beautiful architecture, well appointed. Everything we needed. About a 15/20 min stroll to the French Quarter down Esplanade and all it has to offer, easy and quick to get an Uber if you don't feel like walking. On and Off I-10 is easy access, grocery store only a couple blocks away and little convenience store steps away. One note ... this is NEW ORLEANS! Not a Disney version or Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville version. It's the real deal with all that comes with it (and the better for it). The smells, sounds and sights are what makes NO so interesting. Will def stay here again the next time we get back. Cheers!
It was our first time in NOLA and I couldnât imagine a a more suitable place to stay. The house has all your basic needs including A/C! Itâs a 20 min walk to bourbon but we just called a cheap Uber there and back. We had no issues with the neighborhood.
While the noise from the highway is loud at times, this house was gorgeous inside. The rooms are spacious and the management was on-site for check in to walk us through.
