Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish in-law space. Newly built unit with contemporary aesthetics, rain shower bathroom, and private outdoor patio space with bbq grill. Perfect for weekend getaway, business trip, staycation, work-from-home, or cosy home base while exploring everything San Francisco Bay Area has to offer. Conveniently located in a very safe and quiet neighborhood of Pinole, which is close to Napa, Berkley, Oakland, and San Francisco. Plenty of parking available.
The place was perfect. State of the art shower, the place sas decorated with 60 stlye furniture. The coffee was excellent. A washer and dryer. If you needed it. I wasnt afraid at night. Side entrance was easy to use. A super place to stay. Twu thumbs up.
The space is very comfortable and flexible, with dimmers on most of the lights. The bathroom door is a bit awkward and might be a problem for those with limited mobility, but the rain showerhead and mirror lights with a choice of color temperature are nice extras.
I had lots of frustration and challenges for this short stay. The ameneties are all high-end and new. But, that's about all I can say positive.
Negatives
-No instructions for all of the high-end equipment.
-Access code was not communicated well.
-Patio had trash and no place to sit.
-No desk or kitchen table to work or eat at.
-No Wi-Fi.
-Got stuck in shower - when bathroom door closed on the shower door.
-Bed too low (for this 60 person).
-Kitchen window blind - could not reach to close.
-Bedroom nightlight - too bright to sleep, I unplugged it.
-No Regular trash bin provided.
-Coffee and sugar provided. No creamer (even powdered).
-Could not figure out high tech coffee maker. Said needed water, but there was water.
-Shower Soap dispenser broken or empty. couldn't tell.
-No partial/full length mirror. Except in Bathroom.
Positives
- New / clean
- BBQ outside. Not sure if any supplies were provided.
- Extra blanket in Living room.
- Couch was very comfy.
- Plug strip was great, but only found it accidentally under the tv.
- Ice Creams were left in Freezer, but not sure if left by others. It was a nice treat.
- Ice Cubes were made.
Maybe in the future, this Host will be able to resolve some of these simple issues. Good luck to you.
This is our first experience with a VRBO or similar property.
This property appears to be recently renovated and has a modern flair to it. All appliances, fixtures, plumbing, flooring, tile, and window coverings appear newer. The property was exceptionally clean. The owner was very responsive to all inquiries and suggestions.
The property is way up the hill on a quiet street. We always felt safe and were never bothered by road or neighborhood noise. We had a convenient parking spot in the driveway.
We had a little difficulty getting into the unit perhaps because we did not recognize the electronic lock system. The HVAC was remote only and was not intuitive but I did find instructions online. The bathroom is nicely appointed but difficult to maneuver in as it is rather small. If you are a large person or handicapped this would be very difficult. The furniture is low and, I guess, modern. I did not find it comfortable but my wife did. There is no place in which one can unpack their suitcase like a dresser or bureau but there is a small rack for hanging clothes.
The owner provided lots of extras like laundry supplies, cleaning supplies, and a bit of coffee. Very nice touch!
Overall, a nice place to stay and it was very convenient to my brother in Hercules.
