This quaint farmhouse with lots of sleeping space and outdoor amenities. This picturesque house sits on 20 acres of farmland and is surrounded by vineyards. The home has easy access to local wineries in the Templeton Gap District (Hansen Cab House and Bovino are across the street). The home was just renovated with new flooring, beds, mattresses, a fridge, a washer, and a dryer. The yard is getting a nice spruce up and new patio furniture so guests can enjoy our fabulous summer evenings.
Experience the simplicity and serenity of life on a farm with a rental house that provides a cozy retreat. Get back to nature, enjoy some fresh air, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Weekend Retreat

This was a lovely place out in the country. It was peaceful and clean. Hot tub was great. Goats, horses, pigs and a darling barn cat to visit. Comfortable beds, good wifi, pretty views, and roomy living/dining space made for a great getaway. visit.

County charm at its best!

We stayed at Rustic Roots while we were in town for a nearby wedding. The farmhouse was the perfect spot for our weekend away. Warm, inviting, well equipped with so many cozy charms. Walking the property and seeing the newborn baby goats was the icing on the cake of an ideal stay!

Lovely place to stay

A women’s friends group, we enjoy peace and quiet, a hot tub and excellent cleanliness. We loved the farm setting while the house is an easy drive to downtown and Sensorio exhibit. We like to cook and we felt the kitchen needed a regular casserole dish or two for baking /oven cooking.the house was decorated for the season and the host was fast to respond and very helpful the house info is comprehensive and host left out local events on recommendations on a handwritten note.highly recommend this home.

Perfect weekend get-away!

We loved this property so much, as we were leaving, we were talking about the next time we would return. We were two couples, and there would have been space for another, for sure. The property is beautiful and the house is well equipped for relaxation and fun. Close to lots, but it's hard to leave what's offered just by walking around the grounds. And the farm cat...he's so awesome! I teared up as we were driving away, and he was sitting in the driveway watching us go.Truly a magical experience!

This is our second time staying at the property, and we’re coming back again in May. Absolutely love it. The house is perfect. The grounds are beautiful. The kids love all the farm animals, great that it’s pet friendly. No complaints love love love it

Perfect Girls Trip!

Such a great home for our girls trip this year! And we loved meeting Toby, the barn cat plus all the other animals. The home was super comfortable and decorated beautifully!!

Wonderful Wedding Weekend!

We just completed our stay at this beautiful property. This house was perfect for the wedding we attended in Creston. The location is ideal for visiting many vineyards, Morrow Bay, SLO and Atascadero too! The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you may need. The backyard's firepit and hot tub were the perfect place to gather with family. Friends and family stayed at several VRBOs, and all agreed that we had the nicest VRBO. We only wished for a few extra hangers because everyone had dressy clothes with them. The owners were very helpful, and the communication was flawless. As a bonus, we were able to visit the farm animals, including some adorable baby goats that live on the property.

Family Wedding

We loved our stay. The house was perfect to accommodate all of seven of us. Our host was quick to respond to our question. The grounds were perfect, and the kids loved the very friendly horses and farm animals. The house sits back a bit from the freeway, but it was worth the extra drive.

Perfect Place

This house is exactly how described but the property itself is what is so special. You really feel like your in the country but only 10 minutes out of town. We really enjoyed our evening strolls down to see the goats and horses. We can't wait to book again.

Perfect house in beautiful location

This adorable house was perfect for our girls getaway weekend. It was so well equipped and met all of our needs. We loved being in the country setting and could easily uber or drive into Paso Robles and wineries. We also loved the hot tub! Highly recommend this property.

Country living

Enjoyed waking up early morning having coffee and listening to farm animals. Walking to the stables and beautiful sunsets were so relaxing. The house itself was all as advertised. What we didn’t like was the dirty floor, counters and cobwebs under every toe kick. The local cat was friendly but was a nuisance and fought with our dog and wouldn’t leave the backyard. We cut our stay short because the final straw was mice in living room. Tried to shoo them out and in doing so saw really how dirty behind entertainment center was. Mouse urine and feces all underneath. Understand that you are in the country but was kinda grossed out. Really needs a deep cleaning not just superficial. Loved the yard and hot tub but would not stay again. Sorry

Fabulous Farmhouse

From the moment we opened the door, we knew it was the right choice for our much needed friends get away! We loved sitting outside early morning drinking coffee and watching the sunset with a glass of wine. So much to do in the area and we were surprised how fun the olive oil tasting was. We will definitely be back! Cheers to the wonderful hosts who provide a perfect home for guests. Thank you!

Wonderful stay!

We were in town for a wedding with extended family and 3 children under 2. The property was perfect! Our littles enjoyed walking down to the barn to see the baby goats and also swinging on the tree swing. Overall, the house was clean, spacious and we would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Creston wine country or attending a wedding in the area. The hosts were gracious, quick to answer questions and so accommodating.

Great house!

We had a great time staying at this house! It was very comfortable for our extended family of 7. The house was very spacious and we really enjoyed the outdoor living areas. The kitchen had everything we needed! A perfect place to stay while we were attending a wedding and touring Paso Robles area!

Family wedding

My husband and I, two adult children and their spouses were attending a family wedding. We had a wonderful stay. The home is lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and visiting the animals in the barn. Hope to return with grandchildren!

LOVE THIS HOME!

The house is beautiful and very clean. We had the best time, and we would love to stay there again. I highly recommend this house. The grounds are heavenly, and our dogs had the best time. The location is perfect. The owners were wonderful and so nice to deal with. Rating is A+ all the way. Thank you for the bottle of wine and it was so kind of you to bring over the portable table so we could play cards.

Great Place close to wineries

We had us, some friends, our 3 month old baby, our mom and two doggies with us this trip and the house was accommodating for all of us! Super spacious house, fenced yard, nice spa! Got to see some animals as well. The weather was pretty poor for our trip and the poor went out. The host was very helpful and sent over a message with tips to help us out without us even having to reach out! Would love to come back here next time we are in Paso!

A beautiful getaway weekend, for 7 (60+) old siblings. The property was absolutely delightful, The home cozy,comfortable and beautiful. Wine tasting and Sensorio were our destinations. The home could not have been a better fit. Thank you !

Everything was so beautiful, the house, the location, we will definitely be coming back for a longer visit so we can enjoy the area. We were in town for a wedding so it was a short trip, but everything was lovely and I can’t wait to come back!

Rustic Roots Ranch is 20 acres of vineyards and farm pasture. Our family lives at the back of the 20 acres and we rent the house near the front of the property. There is ample space and plenty of privacy. Guests are free to enjoy the house and the attached yard or venture further onto the farm and enjoy some of the farm animals. We often have several new baby goats playing in the pasture.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The ranch is in the Templeton Gap wine district and there are many wineries in the area, a few that are within walking distance. Bovino Winery is across the street and the Cab House Hansen's Winery is half a block. The property is quaint and peaceful with lots of scenic views. Enjoy one of our stunning sunsets or drive into town for a gourmet dinner in Paso Robles.
