Relaxing and quiet

Girlfriend weekend. We spent a lot of time on the front deck listening to the river and the birds sing! Armstrong Redwoods is a short drive for a great hike. Beautiful property. We enjoyed our stay.

Magnificent tree house getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Sydney’s River Retreat. Whether it was the quiet morning trees or the nighttime soaks in the hot tub, and outings in Guerneville, we loved every minute of it.

Great cabin in the woods

Sydney’s river retreat is an amazing cottage/cabin hidden in the hills and trees. There are a few stairs to climb to get into the property but reviews had let us know this ahead of time so we came with bags prepared to walk the short walk up. We arrived in the dark later in the evening and the stairs are on a timer which helped us see in the dark. The property was very clean and tidy and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need. There is a Safeway not far away for anything you may have forgotten. We also used the bbq which is just outside. The bathrooms were clean each bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Both balconies are beautiful in their own right and we really enjoyed sitting listening to the stream and birds in the morning and sitting in the hot tub on the other. We did have an issue but the property manager was very quick to come help. After a long day hiking we really appreciated the quick response time. There are so many state parks close by and the beach is only 20 mins down the road we loved exploring everything it had to offer and would love to visit again in the future.

The perfect redwoods treehouse

They were not playing when they mentioned they’d be a lot stairs but the privacy and views were absolutely worth it. Everything about the house and location were perfect. The hosts were also easy to get in contact with and incredible friendly. We wished our stay was longer and will absolutely be back in the future.
