Hidden in the heart of New England, within the town of Stonington, enjoy a leisurely vacation with family and friends on the enchanting estate – Amber Crossing. This multi-structure estate boosts the presence of a main house, guest cottage, and pool house. There are four bedrooms in the main house, and three bedrooms in the guest house with the ability to accommodate at least two adults each. The estate has additional amenities including a tennis court, swimming pool, and an amazing large outdoor patio with a grill just to name a few.
Whether sitting in Adirondack chairs peacefully watching the sunset /sunrise or making memories with dear ones enjoying a poolside barbeque or a home cooked meal around the dinning-table, this estate, with its generous gardens promises a home away from home experience.
In close proximity to Amber Crossing, there are local attractions to keep both adults and children engaged and happy. A short drive away, you have the Mystic seaport, Mystic aquarium, golf courses, and a few beaches to spend the day. Stonington and Mystic are both quaint little foodie towns with many local restaurants that provide uniquely flavorful foods. World renowned Ocean House restaurant is within a 20 minute drive for those special or romantic meals. For the athletic enthusiasts, there are hiking trails, bike rentals and the ability to enjoy water sports within the coastal towns near the property.
The main house has a large kitchen with high-end stove, ovens and microwave. It also has a steam oven for healthy cooking. There is also a fireplace in the main house family room that calls for movie night or family night with ample seating.
This estate is approximately a half hour drive from the Mohegan Sun Casino and 45 minutes away from shopping outlets. The mystic train station is 2.3 miles from the estate making it accessible to reach even without a car.
Amber Crossing with its own serenity coupled with the close-by attractions, will help you and your family relax, recharge and reconnect. It is the perfect spot to give the gift of making lifetime memories to loved ones. It is also a perfect spot for a friends retreat which is a must every now and then given our hectic lives. Amber Crossing allows for groups of family members or friends to stay together, enjoy being together yet taking advantage of hybrid working, remotely working from the estate itself. It is the perfect get way, home away from home, or a few days of calm from busy city life.
The hosts wanted to create a place that brings a true sense of calm while enjoying each others company and strengthening relationships through being present together.

Perfect work retreat, in the most relaxing setting

Our group of 14 recently had the pleasure of staying at a short-term rental that exceeded all our expectations. The layout of the space was absolutely fantastic, with a perfect balance between group congregations and individual rooms. Whether we wanted to socialize or have some alone time, there was always a cozy spot available. One of the standout features of this rental was the smart home technology. From controlling the lighting to adjusting the temperature, everything was seamlessly integrated and easy to use. It truly enhanced our stay and added a touch of modern luxury. We cannot praise the host enough for their responsiveness. They were always just a quick message away, ready to assist with any questions or concerns we had. Their attentiveness made us feel valued and taken care of, creating a truly memorable experience. Overall, this short-term rental provided an exceptional stay for my group which was perfect to provide a sense of calmness for our retreat. The great layout, smart home features, and responsive host elevated our experience to another level. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing and convenient place to stay. Additionally the proximity to great restaurants and takeouts made it easy for my group to focus on quality time with each other. We look forward to coming back to the property.

Stonington Getaway

The property is beautiful with plenty to do in the area. My friends and I explore the many activities in the Mystic and Stonington area. The property is in a fantastic location with bars, restaurants, and the marina all within a 10-minute drive. There is also a casino and a golf course within 20 minutes. The house itself is a beautiful 20-acre property with a gorgeous pool and plenty of space for outdoor activities. my friends enjoyed walking the property and playing tennis. The host did a great job of making sure the house was ready when we go there with all our requests taken care of in advance. The check-out process was very simple and the hosts were very responsive to any questions that we had. I highly recommend the property to anyone traveling with family, friends, or even just a couples' getaway.

Amazing getaway!

Beautiful property and house for our family trip. Extremely conveniently located close to downtown Mystic and Watch Hill, RI. Our kids loved playing in the yard and the quick drive to the Mystic Aquarium. Great food nearby as well. We will definitely be returning!

The VISION: To create a destination, a home away from home, that would provide a relaxing and re-energizing place for all age groups. The goal is to make it inviting for muti-family vacations, friends getaway week, or events such a bridal-parties, special birthday celebrations or immersion retreats for small groups.
While creating this space for ourselves, we thought why not share it with others by offering Amber Crossing as a vacation rental to enjoy families and friends, nurturing the sparks and relationships that keep us connected by stepping away from our busy lives for a week or two.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Amber Crossing is unique as it provides the dichotomy of serenity and seclusion on it’s vast property along with, the liveliness of small town, big town hustle and bustle just a short drive away.
The living space is all on the ground floor making it easy to use any of the 7 bedrooms without having to climb at set of stairs.
For those of us with remote working optionality, there is internet in all three structures and a dedicated space in the main house that can be used as an office.
The house is purposely designed to enjoy both the outside gardens and nature and the inside with French doors opening out to extend the indoor living space to the outdoor garden.
There is a generator on the property completely minimizing any type of power loss.

The property itself provides many amenities that makes it possible to relax and spend time with one another. The main houses has a gourmet kitchen with a beautiful copper island, to make home cooked meals or bake with little ones. The pool house has an outdoor patio with seating, a pool, a grill and indoor kitchenette making it ideal for spending a lazy day by the pool enjoying a barbeque. There is a tennis court and a shuffle-board on the property. The grounds are unbelievable and perfect to enjoy a picnic or a glass of wine while watching the beautiful sunsets or sunrise. There is sufficient space in the family room or living room of the main house to have movie night selecting the movie of your choice using your own streaming services. Board games or simply reading a book can be enjoyed in many nooks both inside and outside on the property. The possibilities are endless, all it takes is one’s imagination to find ways to create special moments.
Whether on a chilly summer night or a cold winter night, the gas lit fireplace in the main house family room provides plenty of cozy warmth.
There is nothing more energizing that running around in a open garden, perhaps with your puppy, or lying on the grass and imagining the story that the shapes in the clouds are telling you.
There is a fenced in area on the property that can be used for gardening lessons.
