The rooms were clean and there was a pack and play in one of the bedrooms, which was really helpful.

Location was good and there was off street parking. Very clean property and nice bedding. The road outside was busy during peak times but was quiet at night. Property is older but worked for what we needed this trip. (Would have appreciated hand towels and wash clothes in the bathroom. There was ample supply of bath towels however)

The property itself was fine if a bit run down. My biggest challenges were in reaching the property manager. They ignored multiple emails and never responded to my requests for assistance, and the published phone number was a dead end voice mail maze.

Great location, walkable into downtown Redmond and train. Cute inside, very clean, almost sterile with almost no art on the walls in the entire house. Plenty of towels and closet space. Easy communication with the owner. Its on the street but we didn't hear any street noise, very quiet. I would recommend staying here!

I booked through Expedia and all communication went through VRBO which never worked. I ended up needing to call the Host for information and greatly appreciated that interaction. Very responsive. The Duplex is in a good location however, it is pretty worn and a bit shabby. The table was sticky and there is old accumulated grime towards the edges of the table that could be scrubbed off with elbow grease. Appliances are basic- dented refrigerator. The Kurig coffee maker was nice. Kitchen was well stocked with pans, etc. We appreciated having the seasonings and oil to cook with too. Plenty of clean towels and sheets, Sparce bedroom furnishing- no doors on the closet. Overall-In need of updating for sure.

Exactly what we needed

Beds and linens were super comfortable! Just a quick 30 min drive to get into all the tourist parts of downtown Seattle!Floors were a little bit cold staying here in March, so pack some warm socks. Good communication, great stay!

cancelled on us.

i understand that things happen. but the host cancelled on us three hours before we got there. this really left us in a bad spot and we had to book a much smaller place at a premium price and just take what was available. I understand that things happen and they had no power, but they had clearly been without power for at least a day. They should have let us know sooner that they were cancelling our reservation so we weren’t stuck trying to find another place while three hours away from Seattle in the car.

Protect yourself

I did not stay the night at this property. Soon after checking in i broke out in hives from the bath tub which was completely painted over in cheap house paint. The owner was unwilling to discuss the matter or refund me for the second night even after I offered to pay for the first night. Exploitative host and innacurate listing,

Convenient downtown location

Our second time at one of Alexis's places. We had a very comfortable stay here. Location is walkable to Redmond shops, restaurants and transit center. Comfortable beds, great off street parking, great shower, spacious, coffee and tea are added bonus. Will definitely stay again when we're visiting Redmond.

Do not book this apartment

My non stay was terrible! This should be removed from VRBO. Went to check in after a company function only to be messaged by host that it was canceled. She said she messaged me the day before, but I had no messages. I read on the reviews that this was not a one off with this host. BEWARE. had to scramble last minute for a hotel in an unfamiliar city.

Cancelled our reservation w/o notice

There was no stay. We found out at 4:30pm on the day we were checking in (check-in was supposed to be at 4pm), that we did not have a place to stay. VRBO blamed the owner & the owner blamed VRBO for whatever happened. I had booked this place over a month ago & was never contacted about a cancellation. When I called VRBO on check-in day, after not receiving any check-in information (although we did get an email from VRBO confirming our reservation), they told me to call the owner. When I called the owner, I was told to contact VRBO 🙄. NO ONE explained what happened & we had to find a place to stay for the night. I was not surprised offered any compensation or written apology. I al so disappointed in VRBO. I hope the owner will be removed from using VRBO if this was his fault. We came to WA all the way from IL & should not have to look for a place to stay at the last minute.
