This family-friendly and spacious house, which was originally built in 1905 and fully renovated in 2023, is filled with details highlighting the rich history of Dayton, Ohio. The other reviews were accurate. The house was well furnished and equipped with everything you need. The location is a good central location. We will certainly look to stay here again on future trips to Dayton.The hosts were very good communicating.

Quiet spot in Dayton

Property was very clean and had everything we needed to cook a basic meal. Area is quiet and beds were comfortable. I appreciated the extra blanket in each bedroom as I tend to be cold at night. We loved the character of the house and would not hesitate to stay again the next time we're in Dayton.

Work trip to Dayton

Really enjoyed our stay at Carillon cottage.We where in town for a work trip. This is the second time we have stayed here . A great spot super cleanand very comfortable The cottage has everything you need. It’s close all the great spots . .

Beautiful house with lots of extra touches

We had a conference to attend at the convention center & this house was perfect for our ladies trip. It was less than 10 minutes from the Dayton Convention Center and the hosts thought of everything!! Would definitely stay again if we come back to Dayton!!

Lovely stay in Dayton

We drove up from Virginia to attend a military reunion as well as visit with our local family. The house was just perfect for our 5 day visit!

Wonderful Home!

We loved this house and will be coming back whenever we're in town! The house was so clean and well appointed, we felt like we were the first visitors! Very comfortable beds, kitchen well equipped and fantastic decor!

Charming Cottage

Welcoming, comfortable home with historical Dayton theme. We’ve stayed in other Vrbo homes in the area and the Carillon Cottage is the best. Great location. Hope to visit again.

Well Done!

My friends and I stayed two nights for our UD Reunion. The beds were comfy and the decor was so well done; we loved the history. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed. We had a lovely stay.

Great place in Dayton

We had an enjoyable time. Everything was in good order. Host communicated very quickly. Stayed while daughter competed in track and field event at the University of Dayton. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

The house is very nice. The furnishings are high end and put together well. I walked the neighborhood and it is amazing. Borders the Dayton Country Club.... very cool. Take a walk and check it out for yourself.

Fantastic!

This home is beautifully appointed and easy to check into and out of. The beds are very comfortable. I especially appreciated the proximity to the river for running.

Amazing Stay

Our family stayed for a weekend of soccer tournaments and it was absolutely perfect! They really thought of everything and our stay couldn't have been better! Our standards have been raised due to this place ☺️ and we will rebook for the next one in this area!

2024 WGI Indoor Percussion Championships

The property was a great location for the WGI events at University of Dayton Arena, Hobart Arena in Troy and the Nutter Center at Wright State University. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

Stayed at the Carlton Cottage While we were teaching a class for Dayton Parks. The Cottage was great very comfortable, super clean and organized very quiet with everything we needed. Really appreciated the information regarding local restaurants etc

Eclipse with the Family

Words cannot describe how perfect this place is. The pictures are accurate but the house is, somehow, better. Everything we needed was there and more! I don't have any reason to go back but I'm looking for one.

The Perfect Stay

We had a great experience staying at the cottage. Traveling with 8 month old twins and a 3 yr old is not easy, but the hosts made it very simple for us. They had a pack n play, portable crib, and high chair for us. The house was extremely clean, and in the perfect location. The instructions given by the host was clear and easy to follow. We will definitely consider staying here in the future.

Fantastic stay!

Had a fantastic stay in Dayton! House was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Safe, quiet and centrally located neighborhood, very close to the University of Dayton. Newly renovated, you can tell the owners spent a lot of time decorating the home with little touches all over the property. Hosts were very responsive and attentive. Highly recommend the property for your next stay in the area!

Perfect home away from home

We really enjoyed staying in this home for my son’s UD graduation. My family and my mom loved this warm and cozy home. It was very clean, adorably decorated with plenty of extras to make your stay effortless. The owners have thought of everything. The location is perfect for UD and other Dayton area events. Everyone said they had a great night’s sleep - comfy beds and pillows!
