The apartment itself was nice. The area not so much. It was hard to find as the address and GPS do not match. It would have been nice if the owner left a note about that as a watchout.
Mainly, the biggest disappointment was that the apartment had no hot water so we had to take a very quick and cold shower. Not what you want to do on your vacation. Secondly, the stove did not work, probably the propane tank was empty but I can't say this with certainty. As a result, we couldn't use the kitchen to cook or even make a cup of coffee/tea.
When I informed the host about this, they did not respond the same day. We were there only for 3 days and by the time they got back to me, we had already checked out.
My biggest complaint is that when I got back home I contacted to host to see if we could get some type of partial refund for our stay. The host refused and furthermore said that the hot water was fixed and he/she confirmed that. It may have been fixed after we left, it certainly was not during our stay there. It is very infuriating to have a host be so insensitive to the discomfort we experienced, without so much as a "I'm sorry" or any kind of refund.
I would certainly hope Vrbo and Expedia post this review so other potential vacationers can know what to expect. I should have been more skeptical when I saw zero reviews for this property. I think the service you get is as equally if not more important than the property itself.
