Kelley's Kabin # 290 est un chalet de montagne de deux étages super mignon qui est entièrement meublé, sur un terrain boisé calme, avec de superbes terrasses, un barbecue au charbon de bois et un spa privé extérieur tout ce que Big Bear a à offrir. La cuisine est entièrement équipée mais pratique et comprend une batterie de cuisine et des appareils électroménagers, ainsi qu’un bel espace pour manger sur la table pouvant accueillir trois personnes. Il y a un coin salon chaleureux et confortable avec des canapés confortables, un foyer au gaz commun avec la suite principale et un lecteur TV / DVD avec câble haut de gamme pour votre plus grand plaisir. I cannot recommend this place. Very old and run down. Several things didn’t work in the house including a toilet in the main bathroom. They came to try to fix it and were nice about any problems that arose but I would not stay here again! Also porch lights not on and it was dark. Could hardly find the place. Not welcoming at all. Overpriced completely for what you get here.

A wonderful mountain home to stay in

If I saw all the 2017 reviews here before I rented this house, I would not have rented it. But I didn't see them, so I did rent it, and I'm glad that I did.Every house, even a new one, will have it's issues. A Mountain Cabin will have even more issues, and a reviewer can easily point out little problems, be it a dusty shelf or a drawer that doesn't slide properly. The trick is to see through this stuff. It appears that this was originally a 2 bedroom home, and that a Master Bedroom was later added on to the side of the house. This is undoubtedly the focal point of the whole house. Its beautiful with a gas fireplace wrapped in a giant stone chimney and large timber trusses supporting the vaulted ceiling. The frame of the mater bed aesthetically matches the timber trusses up above and holds a very comfortable mattress. The fenced backyard will hold even the smallest of dogs. The front porch holds the BBQ and the spa. We had a issue getting the spa to work, and the property management company sent a representative to the home (within 1 hour!) to simply turn on the breaker. He explained that 'they must have forgotten to turn the breaker back on after flushing, cleaning and refilling it'. There is two deep, paved parking spots in front of the house, The street has multiple vacation homes, and while we were there (July 4 weekend) most homes were occupied. Less than a mile from this home is a vast system of hiking trails. And beach access is also about mile away.

It’s also great to hear the bed was comfortable and that the layout worked well for you and your pet. We’re sorry for the brief hiccup with the hot tub, but we’re happy our team was able to resolve it quickly. Don't stay here. Just awful. 1. staff is not helpful. They didn't book the day before and still didn't let us check in earlier then 4pm. 2. Place is dirty 3. Not as close to lake as appears. Much better options exist. I felt totally ripped off.

Thank you for sharing your story. I see you filled out a Guest Stay Concern form and reported "Old Furniture, Broken Items, missing screen, and possibly dirty linens." I personally responded to your Guest Stay Concern. I can tell you Big Bear Vacations cares very much about your experience. Every single home has fresh clean bed linens exchanged every time. Since this home is not a luxury home you may find wear and tear - that is natural in a regular mountain cabin. Of course Big Bear Vacations can not replace furniture without Owner approval - so there was only so much we could do with that information - and city ordinance only requires screens in bedrooms. As a company we responded to your concern with great compassion and offered 20% off a future stay. We would love to have you back and truly believe we can earn a better rating. It was just not the right cabin choice! We have over 300 properties to choose from and believe a better stay is possible in the future.

Cute little cabin that needs updating

Overall stay was okay...stayed here for a week with my husband and kids. Kitchen pots and pans need updating. Master bed needs a new mattress...it felt like I was sleeping in a hole each night. Some maintenance needs to be done to the cabin like tightening door knobs, kitchen table legs and chairs, and adding more lighting by the kitchen table. A broom or vacuum would have been nice since the entire downstairs is carpet except the kitchen and baths. We called for housekeeping like 5 times and they never showed up.

Pets must be acknowledged and may not be left unattended in the home. Owners must clean up after pets; subject to added cleaning fees for violations.

All homes include clean linens, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy. A kitchen with basic cookware and small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Paper towels, coffee filters/coffee, specialty appliances, nor condiments/spices/oils are supplied.

No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.

No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.

This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.

We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
