Dream Location of Louisville 5 to 20 minutes to anywhere
Location, location, location: This 2 bedroom apartment is 5-20 minutes all hospitals, downtown, airport, U of L, Churchill downs, Muhammad Ali center, Louisville Slugger Baseball bat museum. Walk to food, ice cream, music venues. There is a beautiful balcony. Free parking. 2 bedrooms each with one queen bed. Love seat has 2 recliners. Apartment can sleep 6. I do have 2 queen blow up mattresses. I don't advertise these or count it in the sleep count but it could easily sleep 4 additional people. Cozy/cute THIS IS AN AMAZING PLACE. We are grateful to be designated a "PREMIERE HOST".
Wonderful stay in Louisville. Central location is convenient to city attractions. 4 adults had plenty of room and accommodations where great . Ms Pacman was even used!
We really enjoyed our stay. We were in Louisville for a soccer tournament. Apartment was clean, had very thoughtful and cute Kentucky decor and items throughout the place, closets filled with extra blankets and pillows, kitchen had lots of snacks, dishes, and coffee, and the bathroom was filled with toiletries and supplies. We were close to the highway and lots of restaurants. It was a safe neighborhood. I would stay here again for sure!
This little upstairs apartment was beautiful! Loved the decoration on the walls. Owner had pictures of famous Kentuckians in every room. Parking was great also. Greeterâs ice cream is a ten minute walk away. We love their ice cream! Nice and quite neighborhood
My daughter had a volleyball tournament in Louisville over the weekend. We normally stay at hotels but decided to try something different. Wow is all I can say! Apartment was beautiful and cozy. Had everything we would need plus more. Highly, highly, highly recommend!!
We enjoyed our time spent here!! I loved the decor and how clean it was and it was well stocked in case you forgot to bring something itâs perfect for families with children. Thereâs plenty to do and see within walking distance
Host was very responsive and accommodating, and the apartment was very clean. The neighborhood was really nice, and it was a quick trip into Louisville. We were very pleased with our stay!
The property is located in a nice, safe neighborhood. The off street parking was great.
Lots of board games for the kids' to play with. Great communication with the host. We travel to Louisville twice a year for the Farm show and Livestock show and would definitely try staying there again (I actually tried to book it for our trip in Feb before we left but it's already booked)
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Louisville.
Great property, building is old, but apartment is clean and well appointed. Has great air conditioning, very important for those of us not used to Louisville summers. Beds were comfy, and linens nice and clean. Appreciated the case of water bottles the host left in the fridge for us. Great stay, I recommend!
This house helped my busy sports family to have a home away from home during a hectic swim meet schedule. It was so much better than a hotel and we LOVED the neighborhood! The house was a perfect size and so quiet!
Great stay! Great restaurants in walking distance. Very nice 2 bedroom apartment. Owner very helpful. Great location for our needs!
Now the badâŠ..needs a shower mat in the tub. Steps up to the apartment a bit steep with old knees and luggage.
It could have been a little cleaner, the towels needed to be washed, and the HVAC system was had to adjust. That said the listing was accurate and everything was more than adequate. It was within walking distance to several restaurants and bars
Every thing was there that you need, even if you forgot something. It was on second floor, but it was a very nice place. Itâs not your modern place, but a older home that had some history Iâm sure. Property owner was very nice.
Would definitely stay again.
I got to the house late and the lock box was stuck. Could not get into house and could not get a hold of manager. Ended up getting a hotel and not being contacted until mid- morning the next day. Still waiting for my refund.
This was a great place and we will look at this place again when we go back to Louisville. Historic building but with all of the modern updates. The location is right in the middle of the night life. We had a beautiful week of weather that allowed us to use the back deck. We could hear great music from live bands at the nearby clubs. A full variety of restaurant locations within a 5 minute walk. Grocery store was less then a 5 minute drive. My only comments will not stop us from staying again. But, the closets need to be emptied so they can be used by the guest. Bureaus are needed in both bedrooms. If the closets had been empty, the bureaus could be small, just big enough to put sock, tee-shirts and underwear. We had to live out of our suit cases. There were several wonderful notes saying ok to this or that, but there was no note to say that the washer and dryer were in the basement. The host did not respond to let us know where they were until 9PM the night before we left. But really important, change the code to the doors or at least stop putting the code and the property location in the listing. There are deadbolts on the apartment door, but my wife was more then a little concerned that the code and location were publicized. But still a really great place.
The property was easy to find, safe off-street parking, door code entry for the building, plus bolt locks as well, which made us feel more at ease come bedtime. Nice balcony to enjoy your tea/coffee each morning. The bedrooms were quite comfortable, as was the living room/dining space.
We didn't know what to expect. When we walked in, we were blown away by everything. Snacks, drinks, suggested local entertainment, exceptionally clean, etc. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.
So myself and my adult sons and a friend got together for a weekend in Louisville. The apartment was in an awesome location, very safe neighborhood, plenty of places to eat and a bar close buy with 15 pool tables and live music on weekends. The place was vey clean, a bit dated in the kitchen but no real issues. The check in was a bit quirky the key opens the front door but you also have to type the key code into the combination lock as well. Also the sleeping arrangement listed on VRBO is wrong, there is only 2 queen beds and 2 recliners.
I love LOUISVILLE!!! Originally from Arkansas, I moved to Louisville in 1986 an I'm here for the duration. Louisville has all the advantages of a large city with none of the problems. Louisville has so many unique areas of town. Downtown is different from St. Matthews and different yet from Hurstbourne. So much to do, arts, food, music, bourbon trail. Ya'll come.
St Matthews is 15 minutes from anywhere in the city. Walk to food, music and ice cream. Drive to anywhere very easy. That is why we call it the "dream location of Louisville."
We have a great balcony... old world charm in our bedrooms, full kitchen, dinning room, living room. Pictures of famous Kentuckians. But the best feature is the location; walk to Graeter's ice cream, Simply Thai, Raven, The Fox Den, , tin roof. Drive to bourbon trail, museums, baseball, Kentucky center for the arts.
