The tiny home provides everything one needs to by comfortable and happy. Its located at the bottom of the valley above the main meadow. You can hear the sound of the creek from camp all year long.
There are many places to visit that are nearby including Englebright Lake, which is great for boating and fishing only 5 minutes away. There are plenty of easy trails to hike around the park. Hip + trendy Nevada City and Grass Valley are 20 minutes away that often have entertainment with seasonal events and music. There is a grocery store less than 10 minutes away.
It's a chill property with a creek nearby. There's also a couple of lakes if you want to rent a boat, but just kicking back in the yard is great! I always love outdoor baths and showers as well.
We went for a long weekend in autumn with our three elderly dogs. This was the ideal location to take them away from other people and animals. We only saw wild turkeys and my sister and one dog enjoyed dipping in the creek. Lots of flat areas to walk if you have mobility issues (our dogs did); a hammock; games; small kitchen; gorgeous outdoor tub and shower (as well as an indoor shower that we did not use); composting toilets; seating areas; outdoor grill (we didn't use); and, outdoor lights.
This property looks like it will be developed to house a number of sites in the future so go while you can still enjoy it by yourself!
The setting, steps away from Deer Creek, was just what the Dr. ordered. The tiny house was quaint, clean, stocked with nice touches and secluded. The outdoor tub and shower was amazing to have on this, hottest weekend of the year. They had a gas grill, frisbee golf, tire swing and board games to keep you busy. The creek was cool and running fast, perfect for sitting in and cooling off. The AC unit was a beast and keep the tiny house cold, actually had to sleep with covers on! It's the perfect spot for 1 or 2 to "get away" from the city and crowds but not too far from necessities. There is no wifi however they do have a cell booster for those that like to keep in touch with social media posting pics and chatting. Overall it met my expectations and what made it more was the great communication from the owners and their openess.
Great tiny house on lots n lots of property. We hiked to the creek which in April was very active and if you travel further into the property, there are wonderful views and swimming holes (5 mins. drive with our Bronco). The turkeys visited daily even with our pups. The only sounds are the creek, crickets, and frogs. Awesomeness! We BBQ-ed (gas grill) and played dominos AND talked to each other. I learned to use a French press coffee maker which turned out my husband loves. Lots of off grid choices for this property. Totally recommend!
Hello! I live in Grass Valley raising a family. My trade is landscaping with an emphasis in growing food. My hobbies include playing drums, exploring the local rivers, lakes, and mountains and developing the property.
This property is magical. The feeling of solace one gets when staying here is profound. It's too big and beautiful not to share as it does feel like a State Park. When we first walked this property, it seemed unreal that is was even for sale. From the massive retaining wall built by gold miners to the Native American grind stones, the history of this place sent chills through my body. There's still so much to uncover and we are only just beginning.
This tiny home is has everything you need to be comfortable from a heater and air conditioning to a mini fridge and convection cook top. There's plenty of natural lighting and a table to eat or work. There is an on demand water heater that is hooked up to the house and the outdoor bathtub. The best unique benefit of them all is the 135 acres that you can explore or just feel at peace surrounded by nature. But if you forgot to buy something at the store, have no fear because the grocery market is near. There are many amenities nearby including restaurants, hardware store and night life. You get the best of both worlds.
