Family Friendly Modern Condo, 1 Mile from the Beach,

Starfish Sanctuary is the perfect place for the whole family, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Old Orchard Beach, but on the trolley route. In a 40 unit condo development, our unit is in the back which affords quiet, privacy, and plenty of space to spread out. We are one of the only units with a full fenced in back concrete patio. Heated pool in the complex for the kiddos. Built in July of 2021, you'll enjoy "modern everything"! (7 day minimum booking during peak season, Saturday check ins only, 3 day minimum off season. )

2 Dedicated parking spots, and one offisite if needed, no loud parties but feel free to have fun, no smoking, ring camera at the front door.

Beach cart, toys, chairs, cooler etc. in the basement for your use. We do not provide beachtowels. Also a queen size air mattress with pump if needed, and a sleeping bag.

We provide a starter kit of one roll of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels in the kitchen and a kitchen sponge. We provide liquid hand soap in the bathrooms and kitchen as well as liquid dish soap and dishwasher pods and garbage bags in the kitchen. We also have laundry detergent and dryer sheets in the laundry room. Anything else you feel you need for your stay will need to be self-provided.

Great location

The condo is very spacious and was extremely clean when we arrived. We arrived about an hour before check in so we drove to the condo and Andrea was very accommodating and let us in early. The location is perfect location close to the beach. Speaking of the beach, all of my other stays near a beach provided beach towels. We would have had to have another piece of luggage for 5 beach towels. I also asked about a laundry basket and was told they don’t provide them so we had to carry up by hand several loads of laundry from the basement. It makes sense to me that you would provide a 10.00 laundry basket and a handful of beach towels so your guests were comfortable. The location is very safe and it is fun to see other residents and their kids playing in the yard.

Family friendly

The house was perfect for our group of 2 families. It was clean, had a well stocked kitchen, private outdoor space. Access to the pool was an added bonus. Great location for day trips and also for beach days.

The condo is very spacious and well equipped. Our granddaughter loved the pool. Being set back from the road we didn’t hear any traffic noise.

Beautiful home by the sea

This was the second year my family and I have rented a home in this particular area of OOB and it did not disappoint. This home is absolutely beautiful and relaxing - everything you would want in a vacation rental. There was plenty of room for my family of four, but we could easily have shared the space with another family. We cooked at home / on the grill a few nights and the house had everything we needed. Our favorite part was the patio - super cozy and private. The hosts were very responsive and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our stay. OOB, in general, is a busy area - we were close enough to the action while also being able to unwind at the end of the day in a spot that was quiet and peaceful. This is a great spot for families with tweens / teens - there is so much for them to do. Highly recommend to anyone looking to vacation in the area.

Maine experience

Took our Florida grandchildren to experience Maine. Everyone had a great time. The house was perfect, room for all of us , a cute yard , close to the beach and the heated pool was a great bonus. Would highly recommend this house and we hope to return.

Absolutely perfect on every level! The property was spotless. The furnishings and decor are very well done. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious with quality linens and towels. The fact that this home has 2 full baths plus 2 half baths was a bonus! The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you will need. Well unless you get live lobsters for dinner. LOL But we managed to crack them and pick them w/o lobster tools. We appreciated the large refrigerator and freezer with ice maker. The living and outdoor areas were comfortable and provided enough seating for the seven of us. The large outdoor grill came in handy as well. There was a bit of a heat wave during our stay with high humidity and temperatures nearing 100°. However, the ceiling fans and heat pump/AC system kept us comfortable. Great location! It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. There are restaurants within walking distance and grocery stores etc just a few minutes drive away. Also, the Trolley Stop is located at the end of street, about a 2 block walk. It will take you into town so there is no need to pay $$$$ to park. Finally, Andrea is an excellent host! She was very responsive to my text messages and took the time to check in on us during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely choose this property again.

OOB home

Nice location for beaches and Portland access. Very nice and responsive host to queries. If you are going to do a lot of cooking, which we didn’t, you might need more equipment and paper goods. Plenty of flatware though. Very quiet environment.

Beautiful and Clean home

We enjoyed our stay at Andrea's home. It was the perfect size, clean, and a fully stocked kitchen. The backyard is the best. It is fenced in and comfy to sit outside and listen to the stream flowing. We were 1 mile to The Pier which was perfect for us. If you are in the area and you want a nice home a little away from the craziness....3 Faith Lane is your next vacation home. Great house for a family getaway

This house was very clean and perfect for a family getaway. The fenced in backyard was great for the kids to get outside for a bit. Having a pool close by was very convenient when we needed a day off from the beach. The owner was super helpful, communicative, and accommodating our need for an extra parking space. Would absolutely stay here again the future.

Beautiful and spacious home close to the beach and shops. The development was very peaceful and quiet. The property owner was very responsive. If you are looking to relax, this property is a must.

We built this lovely condo in 2021 and lived here full time for a year. We loved the neighborhood, proximity to the beach, and amenities. Everything in our condo was hand picked and a lot of care was put into this condo to make it as functional and modern as possible. And "beachy" of course! Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

If you are a multi-generational family or group of friends looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle and loudness of the "strip" this is a great condo for you to rent. Everything is Brand New and modern. Make your own breakfast and pack your lunch, to save $$$ but then head out to many of the wonderful restaurants in the area for dinner. Duffy's and Jumpin Jakes are within a short walk of the condo and are great spots for Lobster and other favorites! Enjoy the heated pool (which is a unique amenity to have in OOB for an airbnb). The two decidated parking spots are an extra bonus as well. Catch the Trolley across the street at Wild Acres for $2 each way, to save on parking fees!
