Breathtaking views with luxury amenities in a private rustic setting. Close to the entrance of Mesa Verde Nat'l Park (1/2 mile), with stunning views of the Mesa and Sleeping Ute mountain in Cortez. Enjoy the beauty of Mancos Valley with its rich western history, artisan galleries, and eateries. Also near 4 Corners, Cortez, Durango, Hot Springs, Historic Steam Train, Purgatory, Telluride, Ouray, Silverton, Moab, and more. Fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, gas range with oven and built in griddle, Keurig coffee w full pot option. Island w bar seating and dining table. Radiant heat flooring throughout the main floor as well as a dual split heat/air conditioning unit. Loft bedroom with queen bed under dome for incredible views of the Colorado night skies. Living area with Smart TV, sectional sofa, easily transforms to a comfortable, no spring Queen+ bed. Sitting area with 2 multi function chaise chairs that convert to full-size beds. Sleeps 6. Bathroom with walk-in shower (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel provided), extra large luxurious cotton bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. Also in the bathroom is a stackable washer and dryer w supply of detergent tabs and dryer sheets included. Expansive deck with gas grill, outdoor dining plus lounge seating overlooking the Mesa. There is plenty of lighting both inside and outside. The yurt is set on a 15-acre property with plenty of privacy and serenity, but owners are nearby on the property if needed. Well maintained gravel driveway is a half mile long right off the highway. Plenty of parking.

Clean and cozy!

This property was in the perfect location, just outside of Mancos within minutes of the entrance of Mesa Verde. You can tell the host put a lot of thought into the design of the yurt and extras to make their guests feel at home. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of clean towels in the bathrooms, and enough pillows and blankets if needed. The yurt was very clean, probably the cleanest rental I have been to and that was appreciated. The only suggestion I would make is that the water heater room was noisy at night and made a loud clicking noise on and off all night which made it difficult for me to not hear it as a light sleeper. A ceiling cover for that little closet/room would probably muffle the noise enough to make it a non issue. Regardless, we highly enjoyed our stay and would positively stay here again!

This place is so special. The location and views are amazing right across the street from Mesa Verde. The yurt is wonderful and is beautifully decorated with everything you need. Steve the host was wonderful and I would recommend this special place to anyone in the 4 corners area.

Perfect Getaway Stay

The yurt was a perfect spot for our quick one night stay. It was a great location close to our visit to Mesa Verde and offered everything we needed and more. Very nice and modern amenities and the bed in the loft offered a great view of the stars through the skylight. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place!!

Steve's yurt is fantastic! It's super close to Mesa Verde and the yurt has everything you need in a unique package. We loved staying here and would highly recommend it.

Perfect Mesa Verde getaway

This is such a fun and unique place to stay. Steven and his wife thought of every detail for a comfortable stay. The thought they put into this place was so touching we couldn't help but love our time there. The location has an absolutely gorgeous view. There are little trails throughout the property and the location and recommendations we received from Steven were phenomenal. If we are in the area we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Perfect for Mesa Verde

The yurt was the perfect stay for our family when we went to Mesa Verde. It was almost across the street from the park, yet secluded from the main road. It was well stocked with kitchen equipment and just a fun stay. Much better than a hotel room.

Favorite family VRBO in Colorado!

We loved hanging out inside and outside the yurt, making forts outside, and cooking dinner with views of Mesa Verde at sunset. The owners are fabulous and thought of everything for a traveling family. Surprisingly spacious, very clean, and perfect spot to stay on a family trip to southwest CO. It was a full moon when we were there so we weren’t able to see as many stars, but this yurt is probably even more perfect with a dark sky.

Perfect stay for Mesa Verde!

We wanted something special for this birthday trip and this Luxury Yurt did not disappoint! Steve was so welcoming and friendly and showed us all the wonderful amenities that were available during our stay. We were fortunate it was cloudless the nights we stayed and we watched the stars and Milky Way and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The yurt has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. We would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you!

Luxury yurt adequately describes this unit. Very nice and as well stocked as any I've stayed. Also exceeding everywhere I've stayed was the owner responsiveness. Wish I would have stayed longer. There is a bunch of stuff to do and explore in the area.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

This yurt was exactly as described in the listing and was the perfect spot for our MV NP visit. It was clean. It had everything we needed and more! And it was comfortable. Also, you really can’t get closer to the national park entrance! Great views from the porch. They even have waffles, sausage, emergency, spaghetti, and sauce, as well as coffee for the Keurig, creamer, butter, oil, and spices. They have literally thought of everything! We travel a lot and this was one of our best VRBO/Airbnb rentals to date! We will definitely return. Thank you for a great day!

Most glamorous yurt I’ve ever seen!!!

This VRBO has it all! We got rain all day/night and kinda wasn’t upset at all because the yurt had EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING WE could have hoped for. Hosts were spectacular! Clean, nicely decorated, and a washer/dryer!!! Thank you for making our rainy day fun!! Not to mention location is awesome if visiting Mesa Verde.

Mesa Verde Yurt

Wonderful property! You could tell that the owners care about their yurt and want to give customers a great experience. The convertible furniture gave our family of 5 plenty of space to sleep. We ate/prepared all our meals at the yurt, and there was enough kitchen equipment to do everything we needed, and even some extras like oil and spices. We would gladly stay again if we return to the Mesa Verde area.

Loveliest place

The yurt was a fantastic location for visiting Mesa Verde and it was absolutely a luxurious place to stay. We enjoyed staying there so much and Steve was an excellent host. Steve was so helpful with recommendations and just so friendly. We felt so welcome and hope to return for another stay in the future. It has become one of my favorite stays ever.

Cool for the kids!

We had a wonderful stay at the yurt! Completely clean, comfortable and all amenities/thoughtful touches were accounted for. Host sent very specific instructions, but no problem getting there via google maps - so close to Mesa Verde after a long day of driving & adventures. Loved stargazing too!

We only stayed one night but easily could have stayed much longer! The view is great and Steve is a wonderful host. You are out in the middle of nowhere which we loved and was exactly what we wanted. The info book provided a ton of food options and things to do. We will definitely be back to this same location in the future!

Amazing stay!!

The hosts have thought of everything possible. Absolutely impressed with how clean the yurt was and the sheer ingenuity of the owner who built it. Stating it in listing as a luxury yurt is completely accurate. All amenties were high end and you could not think of anything else anyone would need. The views from the deck outside and inside the yurt were fantastic. Can not wait to visit again, thanks for your hospitality!!
