Stonewall Peach Haus and Orchard Center of Wine Trail
Location, location. We do not have a hot tub. I do not have it checked either. Its a glitch. I am so sorry about this, But Its a great house!!!
This old farmhouse is located at the rear of 4 acres of a beautiful peach Orchard. Perfectly situated in the middle of the Texas wine trail. Right in between Fredericksburg and Johnson City.
Right in the middle of the 290 wineries and halfway between Johnson City and Fredericksburg. Beautiful home, very quiet, host was very easy to work with, lots of beds - this was a great find and we hope to visit again!
Our family of 11 enjoyed our stay very much. Some supplies were a little short for the size of our group, but we had a great time. The size of the home was great for our group.
Absolutely a beautiful home. The host was so welcoming and I cannot thank her enough for being so helpful in every way! My family and I enjoyed our stay so much. The space was also amazing!!
The property was perfect and right in the middle of the wineries along Hwy 290 between Fredericksburg and Johnson City. Plenty of room to spread out and nice & quiet country setting.
We enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for my adult children and me. We had family staying close by and there was not a problem with them visiting us which was great. We enjoyed Luchenbach and Albert. Had a nice enjoyable weekend. A sweet county home.
The house is lovely. It's very roomy yet homey. It's in a great location right in the middle of everything. Communication with Martha was wonderful!! I would certainly go back and recommend to anyone looking for something in the area.
The Stonewall Peach Haus was ideal for us! We especially enjoyed the peaceful out-of-the-city country vibe. The house was spacious, comfortable & conveniently located to our daily outings. Martha was a great host! We especially appreciated her making contact w/us to check to see that everything was going well: Great customer service!
Perfect location for a wander through the Hill Country
This house is well maintained, clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, there is plenty of space for a large group. It is central to all areas of the Hill Country - we wandered from Frederickburg to Luckenbach to Wimberley. And when you are done wandering, you have a quiet, secluded home to end the day. The property manager is great to work with, I highly recommend and most likely we'll be staying here again.
Make sure to read the fine print about price per number of guests. There was no welcome binder/information which was irregular for a rental. We had no clues about check in/out, wifi, and other things about the house. It was clean, but we did find some areas that could have been cleaned better. The manager was very helpful through texts.
The house was perfect for a girlâs trip over the long weekend! Thereâs enough space for everyone to spread out (and plenty of bathrooms for everyone).
We had a great time and the location is perfect. Because it is in Stonewall, we were able to go to Fredericksburg as much as we wanted, but we also went to Johnson City for dinner one eveningâŠit was exactly what we needed.
We also enjoyed finishing the puzzle someone had left out, so we decided to start another one and leave it for the next guests.
We had a wonderful time with friends at this ranch style house. This home had 3 bedrooms with more than 1 bed in each room for plenty of sleeping spaces. However the plus was 3 bathrooms. Each of our couples had their own bathroom and we did not have to share. I'm sure when the peach orchard is in full bloom it's just beautiful.
The kitchen was very large but we enjoyed the large dining room table the most, which is where we played games.
You won't be dissappointed if you choose to stay here.
Everything about our stay was astonishingly great! The house was larger in space than I had anticipated. My niece(7) and nephews(12 & 8) had a blast picking their bedrooms and spent the majority of the time either putting together puzzles that were there when we arrived or playing outside with some of the bugs they could find (theyâre really into catching ladybugs, butterflies, and surprisingly dung beetles at the moment. However, as an adult whoâs not so fond of bugs TRUST ME, they werenât allowed to bring any critters into the house.) This place is really well located for pretty much anything you want to do. Thereâs a TON of wineries within 5 minutes, downtown Fredericksburg is about 15 minutes, and the Trade Days (our biggest reason for staying) was only about 10 minutes directly down the road! Highly recommend staying here, and will personally be back in the future!!
