In the heart of Punalu'u you will find a gorgeous 2 bedroom 1 bath home fully gated with AC in bedrooms and steps from a white sandy beach. There are views of the ocean and of the Koolau mountain range. This secluded property has an outdoor shower with hot water, plenty of outdoor games and a BBQ capable of feeding the entire family. Sleeps up to 7 with a queen bed in one room, bunk with full size on the top and 2 separate twin beds on the bottom and a daybed to sleep one. Everyone who stays here doesn't want their vacation to end.

This property is beautiful! Shannon the property owner is responsive and kind. The proximity to the beach without the hustle and bustle of the other side of island was our favorite. We stayed 4 adults a toddler and a baby. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful location and communicative host

Great location (views of the mountains and the ocean) and communicative host. We went to the beach across the street everyday. Love how close it was.

Not the City

Best location on the island with ease of access to all the great small island towns and beaches without all the large city problems. Wonderful small town courtesy, charm, and hospitality, coupled with a wonderful location right across the street from the beach. Disconnect and unwind, Punalu'u is exactly what you and your family need to reconnect to each other in paradise.

Hidden North Shore Gem

Traveled with friends looking for a relaxing beach vacation with a beautiful view. This place did not disappoint. Easy check in and out. Visited several beaches on the island but all agreed we enjoyed the peaceful paradise just steps from the house. Looking forward to our next stay!

Perfect place

We love the access to the beach across the street and the view from the living room and main bedroom. The ease of getting around from this location was very helpful. Shannon is a helpful host and very quick to get back to me with any inquiry I had. I will definitely stay here again. The price is right as well.

It was amazing house. My family stayed there, and it was amazing, had amenities, beds for everyone, coffee, washer n dryer. It was across the street from a beautiful not crowded beach! 45 minutes from north shore and wakiki. No one bothered us. Very quite. I loved it so much!

Perfect in every way

This property is in the perfect location. Quiet side of the island with lots of selections from food ,groceries ,entertainment and beach fun. The house is beautiful. We shot pictures for a wedding there. Ocean in the front breath taking mountains in back. Pictures do no justice. Shannon has this place set up for all your needs. 5 star

Wonderful family getaway

We had the best time at Punalu'u Paradise. Shannon was a great host and super responsive to any inquiries I had. The house was stocked with beach towels, chairs, toys, snorkeling equipment and boogie board. Lots of fun lawn games as well. We watched the sunrise from the porch every morning and ran across the street for a quick swim. Within walking distance to small grocery store and food trucks and short driving distance to Laie and other beaches. Would definitely recommend this cute place for a family getaway!

Punaluu Beach House

This house was perfect for our family! The host was great and responded promptly to our questions. The house was stocked with everything from beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, to cooking spices. It was also nice having a washer and dryer on site. It had everything we needed. It was great the house had A/C in the bedrooms which made for comfortable sleeping. Views of the ocean and mountains from the porch were beautiful. Sunrises in the morning were awesome and we would walk across the street to the beach to watch the sunrise with our morning cup of coffee. The kids(8 and 10 year old) really enjoyed the location. The home was as advertised and what we expected. Would definitely return to this location for sure.

Absolutely Perfect!

I can't say enough about how wonderful this property is! It's not just a place to sleep; it's really got the feel of a relaxing getaway. I loved being able to wake up and sit on the front veranda and watch the ocean (which was about a minute walk away), or just swing in the hammock and stare at the nearby mountains and foliage. The host has the home filled with all kinds of thoughtful touches, like beach toys, boogie board, supplies for roasting smores in the backyard fire pit, games, extra linens (it was fabulous not having to drag 7 beach towels in our luggage from the mainland!), and I could go on and on. Communication with the host was always super fast and easy, she was really, really nice. Basically I can't say enough about this home and how it made our family vacation such a wonderful trip and first visit to the island for our kids! They all decided that they want to live in Hawaii now. 😆 I would book this again in a heartbeat.

Hidden Gem

Punalu'u Paradise is a wonderful place to stay if you want to escape the hustle & bustle of Honolulu. This house is located on the northeast part of Oahu, and it is a fairly short drive to the North Shore activities. There are majestic views of the ocean and the mountains from this house. The beach is just a one-minute walk across the street. During the week, it almost felt like a private beach, as there were very few people at all. There were a few more people on the beach during the weekend, but nothing compared to other beaches. The owner has provided beach towels, toys, snorkel masks, chairs, boogie boards, and a lot of other beach necessities. The beds were comfortable, and the house was clean and modern. The guest room has 3 bunks, which was perfect for our kids. The couch could also be used for an additional bed if necessary. The two bedrooms have A/C, but the main living area doesn’t. There isn’t a TV, but who wants to watch TV while you are in paradise anyway? Shannon was a very responsive host any time we had a question. All in all, this was a great place to stay, and we definitely will stay here again if we ever go back to Oahu.

Amazing location!

This house is in a fantastic location right across from a quiet beach. We enjoyed walking across the street several times to spend time there. The traffic can get a bit noisy but that's the trade off with being on the main drag right across from the beach. The host is very responsive and caring and we enjoyed interactions with her. Great communication and great location - 2 big checkmarks off the list when looking for a VRBO from a distance! It's homey with lots of details thought out with accommodations for guests, including consumable things which we haven't experienced at other VRBO's. The scenery is breathtaking with the beach in front and mountains behind you. We also appreciated the security of motion lights, cameras, private property signs, and securely locked entrances everywhere. The neighbor was great to interact with! The power went out for about 10 hours one day and when we got home late at night, she came outside to make sure we had flashlights and everything was ok. We enjoyed seeing her 2 pups cruise around the yard playing. The only place I feel the VRBO fell short was detailed cleanliness. It's surface clean and well kept, but I do notice things more than the average joe after growing up with a mom who owned a cleaning company. I did reach out to the host with a few things and she did respond quickly indicating that it would be pointed out to her cleaning service. So that's nice. All in all this is a wonderfully accommodating home in an AMAZING location.

Hi there! Welcome to our Punalu'u Paradise. This is our second home and we just think it's such a special place. So we were thinking, why not share our special place with others. After such a long Covid period, we realize that being together was the best thing for our family. That's why we bought this beach house to spend as much quality time as possible. Please enjoy and have a wonderful time with family and friends!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our Punalu'u Paradise comes equipped with amazing ocean views! We've seen whales breaching! It also has amazing views of the Koolau mountains. So you get the best of both worlds. Both rooms come equipped with fresh linens and an AC to cool off after a long day at the beach. Although there's no television, we believe that spending majority of your time outdoors together is best. Home comes equipped with full kitchen, full bathroom and an outdoor shower with hot water. That's all you need! Oh and there's even a firepit for those epic Smore's. We love it here, you will too. Mahalo!
