We had a wonderful time. The beauty of the ocean is so relaxing and peaceful. We were on the go constantly and it was great to get out on the lanai at the end of the day. The art work in the home is absolutely beautiful!
Beautiful view from the living room and upper deck. Well stocked house. We enjoyed grilling oceanside and eating on the deck. Low tide allowed easy beach access for our morning beach walks.
If you want beautiful views, this is the place. Plenty of parking. Nice big lot. Large rooms. Large bathroom on upper floor. Only downside was the clothes washer was not working for all 3 days. New one was on order.
Wonderful property with amazing views and a history that made it feel like home. I must have missed the note that stated there was another rental space below but in hindsight Iâm glad I did because the property was perfect for what we had planned. The hosts were kind, generous, and welcoming!!
Lance was great and very communicative. The house was clean, and well appreciated. 3 couples and plenty is space. Beautiful view, right on the water. Would stay again.
Lance was great very responsive very helpful. All the questions we had. He was quick to respond. He even came over and introduced himself. We are there for 25th anniversary. We had a fantastic time.
This property has stunning views facing east for gorgeous sunrises from a large deck. The ocean sounds are just right for sleeping (the breakwater is a few hundred yards off shore so not too loud). There is some road noise but we got used to it in a day or two.
The view from the deck makes this place! Great spot to stay away from the crowds of Honolulu, easy access to beautiful beaches and North Shore. We saw turtles every morning right off the property and even saw a few whale spouts near the horizon. Would definitely recommend if youâre not into the city and resort crowds.
We enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable for our group and had everything we needed. We loved the location. Itâs close to stores and activities. The home is a little dated but was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The main drawback is the busy road but we dealt with it. 2 things which I donât think is clear - 1) it is upstairs. Which was ok for us but could be an issue for others. 2) it is not on a beach. Itâs on the water. The ocean comes right up to the downstairs front yard - but you have a short walk to the sandy beach. Thank you for a nice stay.
Loved having coffee on the deck for sunrise, loved experiencing my first over-ocean moonrise! We had such a great time - the Ocean breeze was wonderful and the location to North Shore activities was great.
Beds were comfortable, living area was adequate, view was pretty, snorkeling right off the property was nice. Apartment could use an update but served our needs. One beach chair was available, few more would have been nice.
There is no mincing words, this was exactly what you want and exactly what you get. a pleasant, simple rural home with a wonderful ocean view. Everything you'll need is in the kitchen. Lance did a great job helping us with any questions and gave us good advice for any spots we wanted to visit.
Everything was super clean and the check in was so easy! The view was wonderful with sea turtles swimming by. The beach house is dated, but every room displays incredible art. There is road noise from the busy highway, and the AC is loud too. Still, it is a convenient location for exploring the North Shore.
I have lived on the island for over 40 years. Providing personal care to my guests to make sure they have a memorable Hawaiian vacation is my top priority. My two children grew up here, spending their childhood playing on the beach and swimming in the ocean at the back yard of this property. We are available to provide you with local knowledge, and to ensure that you have a great stay.
We have lived here since 1987, Hauula is where one can feel aloha (love from the heart). People are genuine. Neighbors always watch out for each other. The bonds are so tight. My dog, Abel, used to walk the beach freely (when there was no need for a leash), everyone knew him. Abel is in heaven now and we miss him.
When we moved here, our neighborhood boys, Dane and Drew delivered us cookies. My children became close friends with Drew who always took care of them. We never had to worry if they were with Drew. This is the kind of neighborhood we have. Drew now has his own family and still bring his family to visit his old neighbors once in a while.
This is a basic rural home, nothing fancy. One time a guest commented, " So peaceful. Looking out into mountains and the ocean, listening to the sound of the wave put you back with nature. It rejuvinates your soul."
