The house was clean and perfect for the 4 of us. The location was awesome great coffee house across the street and delicious ice cream next door...there was a band on Thursday night...Will definitely go back

Wonerful stay

Everything was great from start to finish. Host was very helpful in helping with things to do in the area. Quite, quant and friendly little town was a plus.

Quaint little place to stay. Very comfortable, but never found the firewood, bikes or kayaks. Bar across the street had great food.

I really loved the location, and the view was amazing.I would resemble the feeling to a basement apartment even though it is not a basement. Very cute and cozy.

Great spot for a quick girls' trip!

This was a great stop for a quick girls' trip in celebration of our friend's 40th birthday! We enjoyed massages / facials at Main Street Spa, drinks at Big Hart Brewery, and pizza from the local pizza place. Thanks for hosting us!

This was a nice place to stay if you are not planning to be there for much more than sleep. It was clean, there were plenty of beds, and being pet-friendly was a major plus. There was plenty of parking at this time of year. The host was friendly and got back to us quickly whenever we reached out. When we saw the listing, it was not clear that this was a retrofitted strip mall. The apartment was nice, but we could hear the owner's washer and dryer very loudly with a "thump, thump, thump" sound that made our stay less than relaxing 2 out of the 3 days that we were there. The laundry room was right up against the bathroom, so it felt less than private. This would be expected if we understood the situation, but we didn't.

Hi Jennifer, I really appreciate you pointing out all of the positives and cleanliness of the property. It's a lovely spot and has many great reviews on multiple platforms. If you read the description, it does say that there are three properties. We've never had anyone have an issue with the laundry in the laundry room. Future guests please note the laundry room does not have access to your property and this is for our cleaning crew only.

Would not recommend this place whatsoever. Photos make it appear much nicer than it is. We are shocked at the many good reviews because it was very disappointing. Pros: lots of parking, cute coffee shop, quick drive to Pentwater and Lake Michigan.Cons: the apartment floor is so crooked all appliances and furniture are visible uneven. Makes the whole place feel like it’s falling apart. Dingy basement like feel with very low drop tile ceilings and lots of bugs/spiders.Outdoor space not very nice or comfortable.Did not feel clean. Half of us opted not to shower because the shower was so unwelcoming. Weird smell.Kitchen missing some key items like oven mitts and basic cookware.Can’t open curtains without losing all privacy because of location on main road. Host never said a word to us beyond the standard check in instructions

I'm truly sorry for your experience. I'm going to immediately address the issues you have presented. I do have on the listing that its an older building. I send out automated instructions and it states if you need anything were here! I like to provide my guests space during their stay. I wish this review didn't seem retaliatory, but considering the circumstances that were presented it indeed does. Future Guests- If there's anything missing from the kitchen or property that you need please let us know and were happy to assist.

Bike Race

In town for a bike race. Didn’t want to stay at the hotel again and was looking for something close to the race start/finish. 1 block away! Great location.

We really enjoyed staying at this location! It was perfect to be so close to the downtown Hart area, we only wish we could have stayed longer! We walked to breakfast, coffee and ice cream. My family and I enjoyed all of the amenities, including all of the places to sit! It was comfortable for a family of 3, and having that extra mattress came in handy. Everything listed on the listing was accurate. Parking was very easy. There is street parking, but since we had our ATV trailer, we used the large parking lot across the street. We highly recommend booking this rental if you’re planning a visit to Hart or the Sand Dunes!

Disc Golf Weekend in Hart

We had a group of three stay at this property for our disc golf weekend and it was perfect! After playing our 8 disc golf courses over 3 days, we would head back to Blue Haven and it was very relaxing. The property was well decorated and homie, very clean, stocked with everything you need, and everything you want. We enjoyed a couple movies on the massive TV in the family room. This is super random but the shower head in the bathroom was incredible and I just ordered one for myself on Amazon lol. The location was also great with a little ice cream place and a coffee shop nearby. The property owner was also very kind through messaging. Overall, we had a great stay and will stay here if we’re ever in the Hart area again!

A beautiful and cozy house. The kayaks and bicycles came in very handy. Since the house is right by the lake, there are also great cycling routes nearby.
