The space
Come make memories that will last forever at this charming Pentwater retreat in the tall oak forest edge close to Pentwater Lake. This beautiful 3 bedroom, 1 bath cottage was built in 1921 and stylishly renovated in 2021, with restored hardwood floors and shiplap walls to blend the character and comfort to make it a perfect stay.

The main floor features 2 entrances, one being into the spacious kitchen with ample storage, full size refrigerator, gas stove, and microwave. We strive to have a well-stocked kitchen and home for your convenience and comfort.

The main floor bath features a shower/tub combination, front load washer & dryer, linens, and amenities.

The main floor bedroom #1 has a queen bed with upgraded linens, closet area, and a fandelier type ceiling fan for your comfort.

The main floor bedroom #2 has a queen bed with upgraded linens, hooks to hang clothes on, and a fandelier ceiling fan for your comfort.

The main floor has a hallway from the kitchen that passes the bedrooms and stairway and ends in the spacious rectangular living room setting. There is access to the spacious screened front porch to enjoy the peaceful view. There is a large Smart TV with some free channels connected and you may sign into your own viewing platforms for your personal watching convenience.

The second floor is up the original character wood stairs. There is no door at either end. At the top, you will walk into a large open room with angled ceilings with more sleep space available. There are 2 twin beds and 2 queen beds with upgraded bedding. A Smart TV is available that you can access with your own viewing login information and also enjoy free viewing apps as well. There is 1 baby gate that can be used at the bottom of the stairs on the main level.

The backyard features a spacious outdoor dining area on faux grass with a very large picnic table, patio table and chairs, gas grill and fire pit. Cushions are stored nearby to keep clean and dry for your stay.

Access to Pentwater Lake is nearby at the public access 1 min down the road or down in the channel. The big bayou is a no wake zone on Pentwater Lake and is a great area for kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing.

Guest access
You will enjoy the whole home for your stay and private driveway with flexible parking during your stay. We have a shed that may be available if needed as well.

Other things to note
In the winter, we are located very close to the Pentwater Pathways cross country ski trails, which are great for biking in the summer too.
