Rustic and luxurious 4 bedroom house on secluded NH lake!
This beautiful all-season home on a hilltop above Wild Goose Pond has been lovingly furnished and customized to deliver comfort and an experience of nature from every window, with stunning views of the lake and the wildflower gardens. Located on a nature preserve, guests have full access to the lake, canoes, kayaks, and 300 acres of woods and trails. Stairs lead directly from the screened porch to the small sandy beach.
The Geib House nestles into the hill on one level, with a sunken living room in the center of the house. The large, dark-beamed living room has a giant brick fireplace and French doors opening to the screen porch. The sunny open-concept kitchen with a large island offer glorious views of the pond and the trees. The huge screen porch functions like an additional dining and living room in warm weather, with a large table, rope hammock, wicker rockers, and gas grill. The master bedroom has a king bed and private bath with a tile shower and soaker tub. Three additional bedrooms and two additional baths offer plenty of space for the whole family.
We had such an amazing time! We went beginning of March when there was a huge snowstorm. I was a little worried we'd get stuck there but the property manager had us plowed out ASAP! But it turned out that we didn't mind being snowed in because the house and the view was BEAUTIFUL! We will definitely be staying here again!
With my with and 2 daughters (1 and 5 yo) we had a fantastic time in the Galeib house. It was very well maintained, cleaned and equipped. The view to the lake was amazing and very relaxing. The environment was very peaceful and quiet.
Anne and the team were very nice and responsive to our needs.
I can't think of anything bad to say about that property. It is surely one of the best experience we had with vacation rental.
We stayed at this property for a weekend- and our overriding thought was âwe wish we could have stayed longer!â
Communication with the host (anne) was amazing - prompt and helpful, even supporting an earlier check in after a long drive for us. The kitchen was well stocked and the cabin was just a lovely place to be. Comfortable and charming. The view was stunning and brought a sense of tranquility and the access to the lake really made the trip as the kids could dabble on the waters edge. Even though it was getting chilly, the kids were even able to take a canoe out. We were very grateful to Anne for her great follow up- and the real gift that was our stay in this revitalizing location. We hope to be back!!!
The entire stay was perfect. The house was clean and well lit for our arrival. The owner even offered to make a fire before we arrived. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we need to chef it up. Would highly recommend this place for a group of friends or a family. We will definitely be back in the summer.
We had an exceptional stay! The house was quiet, comfortable, quirky, and perfect for us. There were six of us: two adult couples and two teenage girls. Everyone had the privacy they wanted. The kitchen was large and extremely well equipped for multiple adults preparing a meal. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and included towels, shampoo and soaps (my fave: Mrs. Meyers). We explored the surrounding property. It is marked with art work in unexpected places and a nature lover's paradise. This morning we watched a large woodpecker seeking its meal while we slowly munched our own breakfast and drank our tea. We will be returning again. Highly recommend. Just a delight.
