James @ The Haven Norris Lake

Cara, thank you so much for staying with us at The Haven and for taking the time to leave such a wonderful 5-star review! We’re so happy you enjoyed our home, the views, and your time on Norris Lake. And thank you for leaving The Haven in such immaculate condition... we truly appreciate it! September is actually one of our favorite times of year to enjoy Norris Lake. 🍂 The lake is quieter, the water is still wonderfully warm, the weather is beautiful, and you get to experience the incredible scenery without the summer crowds. It really is a special time to be here. We’d love to have you back again soon, Cara! There’s always another sunset, another quiet morning on the dock, and another perfect Norris Lake day waiting at The Haven. 💙🌊 -James @ The Haven Norris Lake

HI Steph! We absolutely loved reading your review and hearing how much your group enjoyed the house, dock, outdoor spaces, swimming, paddling, and even the “belly smacker” off the dock... that gave us a laugh! We’re especially happy to hear the home had everything you needed for cooking, relaxing, and making unforgettable memories together. Nothing means more to us than hearing guests already talking about making The Haven an annual tradition. We have many that do! One of the things that makes Norris Lake so breathtaking is its unique geography. Unlike many flat shoreline lakes, Norris is a crystal-clear mountain lake created by flooding river canyons, which gives it the incredible deep water, dramatic scenery, and stunning bluff views that guests fall in love with. Our property is actually considered one of the more gradual lake front walks on the main channel, featuring a series of 4–5 gradual steps and 2 wooden gangways originally designed by a previous owner for their elderly parents, rather than a steep staircase with 50 steps straight up. Most year-round deep-water homes on Norris have significantly steeper terrain than what guests experience here. For anyone wanting an easier option after a long lake day, guests can also drive the short driveway down closer to the lake access area and park nearby. We’re so grateful you chose The Haven for such an important celebration and would love to welcome you back again for your next Birthday!

Thank you Ashley for your 5 star review, I’m so glad you both enjoyed spending your anniversary at The Haven Norris Lake! Our family also finds it such a special place to mark special occasions! Congrats and we hope to see you again in the near future! All the best, James @ The Haven Norris Lake

Hi Sandy! Thank you so much for the awesome review! We're really happy to hear you enjoyed the property and the peaceful vibe of Norris Lake. As you mentioned, as one of the premier Lakes in TN, voted Top 4 in the US by USA Today for swimming, it’s a little off the grid. That’s exactly what makes it such a special place to unwind, reconnect with nature, enjoy time on and off the water. We always aim to give our guests plenty of helpful info ahead of time, like where to find the closest marinas, restaurants, and shopping… so you can relax and just enjoy your time here. Whether you're out on the lake or just kicking back on the 5-acre property, it’s all about slowing down and soaking it in. We’d love to welcome you back anytime! And for future guests browsing VRBO… if you're looking for a serene, scenic getaway on the lake, this is the perfect spot. All the best, James @ The Haven

Hi Kathleen, Thank you so much for your glowing 5-star review of The Haven Norris Lake! We truly appreciate your kind words and are thrilled to hear you had a great stay with us! However, I wanted to clarify one small detail in your review that might be helpful for future guests. We did notice you required mobility assistance from another person at all times on the property. You mentioned that there were rocks in the way of accessing the dock, but in fact, there aren’t any rocks obstructing the path. Our year-round water access dock is accessible via a sandy shale shore with a 5-foot wooden ramp or one step up off-season, and during the season, it's directly accessible from the shoreline cement steps. We strive to ensure that all our guests have a smooth and comfortable experience, and we provide photos on our listing or additional ones upon request. While we understand your unique circumstances require mobility assistance, most of our guests, many of whom are in the mature age range, have found the access to be very self-manageable. Thank you again for choosing The Haven, and we hope to welcome you back for another stay in the future! Live, Love, Laugh & Lake, James @ The Haven Norris Lake
