Fantastic home for our annual family vacation. The cove is perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding and floating. The home was clean and much larger than it appears. My only recommendation is to have an inside table. We are board game playing family and the outdoor table is sticky due to humidity. As others have stated the cupboards are super high but I had tall kids with me, so it wasn’t an issue. The kitchen is stocked well with cookware and extras. The decor was wonderful. We had a blast.

Amazing Family Getaway

This place was the perfect getaway for us. Plenty of space in the house but it couldn’t beat the floating dock! We were able to enjoy ourselves in a nice quiet cove and float around all day.

The house was very clean and perfect for our girls trip. We really enjoyed our stay. only recommendation is to maybe put blinds or curtains up on the windows on the double door on the lower level... was recommended by the girls that stayed in the bunk beds for when they are changing and such. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed all over the lake…. This is our favorite area. House is equipped with everything!! Steps are perfect to dock!! Everything you need is right here will book again! Beautiful!!

Lovely Norris Vacation Home

Beautiful lake property. Our family enjoyed the week we spent on Norris Lake. The home has three refrigerators and two sets of washers and dryers. With three levels, it was easy for family members to have their own space. The beds were comfortable and the home is well furnished with everything you need to enjoy your stay.

We cooked a lot and the double refrigerator was awesome! Pots and pans and dishes galore! Great setup! Tvs couches and beds were all great! Thanks again!

Multi-Gen family stay at the lake

Grandparents and two families stayed with 5 children and the space was great. AC worked great, house was clean! Dock and access to lake was perfect for the kiddos. The only negative thing I could say is that there are many cups so the kids had to drink out of coffee cups and the walls are kinda thin from the bunk area and the bedroom in the basement. But our stay was awesome and we would highly recommend!

Nice place to stay. We liked it.

couple things to consider. All the cabinets in the kitchen are placed realy high, must be tall people who built it. Grill rquire repair and clean up. it's not working as it should, so if you plan to grill something - forget it. other then that all good experience

Great Stay

The house is great and fits the description well. Access to the dock is easy, concrete sidewalk which has a slope but it is not bad and then a several steps. The kitchen is well stocked and family room has good seating. The porches have nice tables to eat at or play games and plenty of seating. The main bedroom is huge and takes up the entire top floor, bed is comfortable. The two other bedrooms are in the basement, one private where we had 3 teen girls stay and the open bunk area where 3 boys stayed. There is one full bath in basement and one at top of basement stairs along with the master bath. Gunner was super communicative and friendly. We kept our trailer at his lot which was super convenient and close by. We put our boat in for free at Brogan's boat ramp which was easy. The driveway to the house is steep and the road in is very narrow and on the side of the hill so you can't get a trailer to the house. We loved this side of the lake compared to the Powell River side but the marinas are smaller. We will definitely stay here again for our trips to Norris.

Wonderful property in quite area

We typically stay up near Deerfield and Flat Hollow area which is very congested. This is the first time we stayed on the south end of the lake. It is definitely less congested and has nice wide open spaces for water sports. We were so happy with the location. We didn’t mind the hour boat ride up to that area to visit our favorite marina Shanghai. The ride there was thru beautiful parts of the lake. The only caution for large groups considering this property is that it does sleep 12 but only has 2 private bedrooms. It had several pullout couches in common areas in addition to the wide open bunk room in the main area of the lower level. Ideal for two families with lots of younger kids who don’t mind being in open areas. The full sized pullouts are in the living room, sun room and in the main bedroom upstairs with one of the king beds. The two level porch was great to take in the views of the lake and hang out in the evenings. Hot tub was great too. The covered dock at this property was awesome. Fit our wake boat with tower up perfectly and the double decker was great for the kids to jump into the lake. Would definitely stay at this property again!

A Perfect Escape: Our Blissful Stay at the Lake House

We absolutely loved the lake house—it was majestic! This home exceeded our expectations in every way. It was impeccably clean, and everything was top-notch. As you drive up to the property, the massive lake unfolds before you—so beautiful and calm. After parking in front of the one-car garage, entering the house is a delightful experience. From the stunning granite countertops to the real canoe hanging over the kitchen island, every detail is amazing. The kitchen is spacious, with five bar stools, perfect for gathering. The bedding for the beds is also top-notch and incredibly comfortable. The jet tub in the master bathroom? Wowza! Plus, having three refrigerators—one on the bottom level and two in the kitchen—was awesome for storing all our snacks and drinks. We were pleasantly surprised to find fiber internet available—who knew we could enjoy such fast service at a lake house? This allowed us to squeeze in a bit of work during our vacation. Gunner, the host, was exceptional. He responded to every text promptly and was incredibly helpful with any questions we had. Overall, this was the best experience we've had, and we can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic lake house!!!

Pros: The house is beautiful and accurately described in the listing. The house was very clean. The kitchen was stocked well and having 3 refrigerators (and 2 sets of washer/dryer) was amazing! The decks were nicely furnished and we loved the outdoor ceiling fans. The dock was a relatively easy walk to and from the house. The dock also had lounge chairs which we weren’t expecting but a nice surprise! We only had to contact the rental company at the end to pick up trash. They were extremely responsive and arrived in no time to empty the outside bins. Everyone loved the house and we all agreed we didn’t want to leave. Cons: There isn’t a kitchen table inside. There is seating for 5 at the bar and there is outdoor seating. It wasn’t bad eating outside because of the fans and the breeze. However, our family likes to play cards in the evening. We played on the deck, but when it got dark and the bugs came out we had to sit on the floor around the coffee table to play. The other negative is there are no currents or blinds in the bunkhouse room. This made for early rising for the kids that slept in that room.Pro/con: there’s a permanent resident directly across the lake. She likes to *blare* her Sirius radio on her outdoor speakers. There were times it was so loud we couldn’t talk to one another. She played it most evenings. Pro/con depends on the station she chooses. :)Ultimately, it is a great house and I hope it’s available the next time we go.

The house and the furnishings were beautiful!

The house itself and the furnishings were great. The driveway is very steep with limited parking, but since we were the only vehicle there it was not a problem. The master bath plug would not seal properly leaving water to drain out. We resolved this by buying a plug at the dollar store. The cleaning charge seemed high since we were instructed to strip the beds, gather all towels, start a load of towels, start the dishwasher and take out the trash. Overall it was a good experience.

Beyond perfect!

This house was absolutely perfect! The layout, the space, all the amenities, & THREE refrigerators! Perfect for 2 families who didn’t want to do even one grocery run. I unnecessarily brought a crock pot & blender but the house was so beautifully stocked, I left my items in the car. Getting to & from the dock many times a day was a breeze, even w kids & coolers & snacks & aaaall the stuff! Our host was super responsive, helpful, warm, & kind. 6 out of 5 starts!

Great house for relaxing vacation

House was great, beautiful views from the house. Upper deck with ceiling fans is a great place for a meal. The owner is not exaggerating when he says the drive is steep & doesn't recommend bringing your boat/trailer to the house, so pack accordingly. Great dock with paved walkway to keep the boat and a nice quiet cove to float in.

Wonderful Property

Very well maintained property with everything we needed. We were surprised at the steep driveway but it was not an issue. Property manager was very responsive to all questions and we enjoyed the boat rental and close proximity to Bubba Brews. Overall, very good experience and a fun getaway with family.
