Overall it was a great stay. Clean and neat. The check in process wasn’t ideal. There weren’t clear instructions on which building the location was in or how to get in. The access code to get in the building wasn’t listed and the code to get in the lockbox was incorrect on the listing. Property manager was very responsive so I wasn’t waiting too long. Internet listed didn’t work, but property manager gave me another WiFi to access.

Modern Zen was perfect!

Very nice clean place to stay! Gated community so felt safe! Easy check in with good communication with the host! Thanks to him & VRBO for a great trip!

2 hour hour check in problems

It was hard to get a hold of the host so we had to call VRBO to get a hold of the host. The bedframe and the mattress was on the floor. The bedframe was standing on its side. Wondered What is going on? Took us hour and a half to two hours to try to get a hold of them to have somebody come and fix it for us. We were trying to decide if we should go find another place or stick around the cleaning person did come and fix the bed for us, there were no washcloths only two towels we tried to get a hold of the host again and we’re not able to. They would not respond. The apartment was clean. There were dishes to use. The fridge was clean. There was ice made.

Women's College World Series Stay

I stay at a VRBO every year for the WCWS, and this year, stayed on my own. Great place! Felt safe, clean, updated, trendy, and great location to get to everything! I will stay there again!

Perfect for the 2 of us

Nicely decorated and furnished. This studio apartment was perfect for our visit. Comfy bed, new appliances, laundry in apartment. So much better than a hotel. Would stay again.

Great place to stay

This is our 2nd time staying here. It’s our go-to for when we come to the city for the weekend and want to go out to the nearby establishments. Everything is within walking distance. Very clean and all amenities needed are provided. Definitely recommend.

Adorable apartment!

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday weekend and had a wonderful time! The apartment was very clean and cozy. We really liked that both the parking lot and the buildings were only accessible through keypads, it made us feel very safe and secure. Our host also did a fantastic job at communicating with us whenever we had questions. There is absolutely no shortage of food, shopping, and entertainment options which are only a few minutes away from the apartment. We did so much sightseeing in just a few short days and it was so refreshing to come home each night to an adorable little place with a super comfortable bed. We’re already planning to stay here in the future when we’re passing through OKC again. I would definitely recommend this place!

Hidden Gem

Super cute apartment! Just big enough for two people and we didn’t feel cramped at all! Gated community and super clean and safe feeling. Definitely recommend staying here; it was absolutely adorable!

WCWS Trip Review

The Modern Zen listing was exactly as advertised. Overall, no complaints on the check in process, and the gated parking lot is a nice bonus. The gate/building/room instructions were clear and very simple as well. A big selling point for me was the price and the proximity to Remington Park/USA HoF Stadium for the WCWS. The room and amenities were very nice, and perfect for either a few night's stay, or even for someone doing an extended stay. You are also just a short drive down Penn Ave from a neighborhood Walmart, and there's no shortage of food options nearby if cooking isn't your thing. I will be bookmarking this listing for future trips to OKC, and would absolutely recommend to friends passing through the area.
