The property was spacious, and had nice character! We found the spot to be safe. We enjoyed walking a bit around the Dundee neighborhood. We went to a Dundee double shot for coffee several times - had some great roasts. We really appreciated this spot was dog friendly.
This townhome was exactly as described. Very clean and centrally located to all of the activities that we had planned for our weekend getaway. We traveled with our 3 dogs and the fully fenced in backyard was absolutely fantastic! We needed to extend our checkout time on the day we were leaving and Samantha was super responsive and accommodating! 10/10 would recommend!
I would book this property again in a heartbeat! Beautiful historical charm and great decor. Very clean and the beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom is so beautifully remodeled it made me want to go home and redo mine! You cannot beat this location where you can walk to so many fun shops and places to eat
Perfect location to access any part of Omaha rather quickly. We just moved out of Nebraska and came back to visit our family who live all over Omaha so central location was a must. Plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walking distance. The home was tidy and inviting. Our beds were very comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with and very quick to respond back. We would absolutely stay here again!
The location was excellent and the well appointed, quiet house made for a wonderful first visit to Omaha! We will be back and already are planning our stay at this property.
This property was perfect for us. It was a short drive from the city center, but also had restaurants, bars, and a cute coffee shop all within a few blocks walk. The place was clean and had plenty of room for my wife and I as well as our dog. The fenced backyard was nice for our dog to wander around. We came into town in a 23ft camper van and were concerned about parking, but the dedicated driveway was plenty long enough to accommodate us. Communication with the host was quick and easy. We'd definitely stay here again.
Samantha made my stay amazing! She was so kind and helpful! Totally recommend booking with her! It was my first time to Nebraska and it felt like a dream!
We lucked out with the location of this house! We knew nothing about the Dundee neighborhood, but we absolutely loved walking to Lolaâs for breakfast and coffee each morning, and dinner/dessert each night (we loved Pitch Pizza and Hoppy Taco, and eCreamery). The house was also perfect for our family - clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Iâll echo previous reviews and say the beds were comfy and the shower/water pressure were great. No complaints!
We booked this house for a short trip to get away from the stress of our busy lives. It was great! Super clean, spacious, so nice to have a full house and backyard to hang out in, not be confined to a towel room or a shared rental space. Beds are sooo comfy. We really caught up on sleep and relaxed, took our kids all over town and the central location made it really easy. We loved it! Thanks Samantha!
The property was perfect for our weekend stay with our two dogs to visit family in the area. The fenced-in yard was a great size and convenient for pets with ample seating for humans, too. The bedrooms were very spacious and nicely furnished, as was the bathroom, kitchen, and all other rooms of the duplex. We had one question and Samantha was very prompt to reply and also followed up after to ensure everything was good. We also enjoyed the book of suggestions on what to do and where to eat and just wish we had more time to explore. Weâd definitely stay here again!
The duplex was very nice and clean. It was in a nice safe location. I was traveling alone and felt very safe there. However I am 70. I knew from the description that it only had one bathroom. I did not know that the only bathroom was upstairs. The only tv is downstairs. All 3 bedrooms are also upstairs. I knew it is a duplex townhouse and perhaps should have thought about where the bathroom was located. The stairs are steep compared to newer homes. The washer and dryer are downstairs in the basement. For an older person that is a lot of climbing stairs if you are there for a week. Just something to be aware of. In order to use the dryer I had to fold the dryer full of towels first. I had trouble with the closet doors in the bedroom. They were stuck on the top and I did not have the strength to pull them open. I notified the hostess on Tuesday of my stay. She replied on Saturday that it is an old home and sometimes the closet doors get stuck so I should just pull harder and it would open. I am a healthy 70 year old but still weaker than I once was. I could not open it but at that point I decided I didnât need to hang up clothes when I only had one day left.
That said it was a nice place for my son and family to meet with me. There was plenty of room for my granddaughters to hang out while we chatted or played cards.
Born and raised in Iowa, I moved to Omaha 10 years ago. I fell in love with the city of Omaha and all that it has to offer. When I am not taking care of our three young kids, my husband and I love to travel. Through our various travels, we have learned the true importance of hospitality and how it can make a trip that much more special.
I truly believe that just the slightest extra effort to make someone feel more comfortable and special can make a huge impact on their day and is always worth that extra step!
This home has everything you need to feel right at home. The added bonus of being walking distance to the best coffee shops and restaurants in Dundee is the cherry on top!
Being right off of Dodge Street, you are a quick drive to anywhere in Omaha.
