We have stayed at the property before and thought it was very nice, however this time the bushes were overgrown over the entrance making it difficult to get in or out. The fence was broken as well, we didnât have any animals with us but if we had they wouldnât have stayed in the fencing. The home inside was dirty and we had to do quite a bit of cleaning to be comfortable which was pretty disappointing since we got in late to begin with. Ultimately the property has a great location in Omaha and has the right potential should they get the cleaning and landscaping under control. Nice added touch was there was an air mattress available at the property should we need additional sleeping space.
Some things on property showed neglect; yard, untrimmed bushes, weeds, etc. front door needs repairFreezer contained leftover food items from previous guests Bathroom needs an exhaust fan to remove moisture; some signs of moldClutter in closetTwo rockers in living room exhibited major signs of wear and tearThe âcleanâ light on the coffee maker came on daily A few extra rolls of toilet tissue would have been nice for a 5 day stayCold air return in main area was very dirty
Great location and space, however it needed a good cleaning before our arrival. The cookware needs an upgrade and the bbq needs replaced. Overall it is a comfortable space in a great location. We would stay again.
This is the third time we have stayed here and it was as good as always. Nice quiet, safe neighborhood and great location to get around Omaha. Itâs great for our dog cause it has a fenced in area and plenty of other yard to walk her. The house is simply a cute little ranch thatâs all you need. Plenty of parking and space for family to come and hang out.
We stayed in this cottage for 3 days and found it very enjoyable. When we drove in the driveway, we saw the garage door badly in need of replacement, the trash can overflowing and the grass was uncut so we wondered that we would find inside. Due to the holiday weekend evidently things got out of hand outside but the house was comfy, the bed nice and firm and we had all we needed for a great anniversary weekend. The owner confessed to the 4th upsetting regular duties and came herself to clean up the trash can. We would stay there again and see the sites of Omaha.
It was an excellent stay. Would highly recommend staying there. It was in quiet neighborhood. Walmart close that you could walk there. Was about 15 min away from everything that we went to
Overall good. Bathroom was damp but we only were there 2 nights so just dealt with it. Id be more cautious if i was staying longer. Was great for what we needed.
Great location & Cute placeBeds are very comfortable NOT CLEAN!! Dog & cat hair all over the floor & rugs! I hate dog hair on my socks!! I had to sweep & swift The return to air vents were coated with dust!! Not good for clean air. The windows, you could of started a gardenThe BBQ grill was so dirty we couldnât use itThe table outside was never cleaned, I wiped half of it & it was so gross, covered in so much dirt & scum very BLACK like mold!!The grass was excessive long & the bushes need trimmed ( they did mow while we were there)The black railings need to be painted & TightenedNeed to spray the outside for bugs
Worked very well for our stay! Great location near a Walmart and Hy-Vee! Only thing I didnât love was there was white animal hair all over the rugs and on the couch. However, other than that it was very clean and we enjoyed it!
The property was nice, it could have been cleaner, towel rack was broke, bathroom sink drained slow, didn't get the code to get into the house so we had to wait outside for an hour and a half to get a response. Otherwise the property was nice. It was quiet and very relaxing
It exceeded expectations for cleanliness and comfort. Really appreciated the location and ease to and from property during stay. Only a couple of items to mention for review by VRBO owner. 1) need new batteries in tv remote. 2) Need a step/stairs out to back yard - went to my knees on the way out not realizing it was that large of a step down. 3) the front screen door is dragging on roof above and does not open full width for easier entry with luggage. 4) Bathroom sink is draining extremely slow - we ended up using the kitchen sink to brush our teeth at.
The house was great my pups absolutely loved the backyard . Shanye was amazing worked with me on dates and my dogs . I would love to stay here again in the future! Thank you again for everything!
We enjoyed our stay in Omaha. We found the manager very quick to respond and they allowed us to stay an extra hour past our check out time (which was helpful). The house was clean enough. The only issues we had was that there was no toilet paper, paper towels, or dish soap. The power went out once during our stay and overall it was a little noisy (I think it was the water heater).
Beautiful piece of property, easy access and close to everything. There were a few things that we weren't real happy with! When we arrived the front storm door was open and stuck up under the soffit, so we just left it. There was a huge patch of ice on the sidewalk and the back patio had not been shoveled. There was no toilet paper or paper towels. The internet did not work, so neither did the Smart TV! It would be nice to get some money refunded!
Enjoyed the stay overall. Owner adjusted days a few days before due to weather circumstances. It is a cute house. I will say the beds are soft, so if you like a firm bed, be aware of that. Also, yes, the heater and water heater are loud when they come on, but they work. I'd stay here again if I come back in the area.
It was a great location for us with easy access to places we wanted to go.Shayne was always on top of things if something broke or we needed something.Enjoyed being here.

It is next door to my home. The original owners, a couple, Tom and Lillie, who lived there raised 5 children. They originally owned the 15 acres to the East of the property. They sold one parcel to put in a well, where before they had carried water in. Tom groomed dogs and Lillie tailored garments, as well operated their cleaning company which cleaned the apartments just Southwest of the property when tenants moved out. Tom had passed, and Lillie was preparing to remarry at age 86, so she decided she would sell the property to me.
Lily's is quiet, and secure. It is off the beaten path, yet the best amenities in Omaha are within a 15 minute drive. Having a Walmart close by, as well as a gas station saves a lot of time when you are travelling. The fenced yard allows visitors with children a great location, and those of us who travel with furry friends an opportunity to bring them along with no hassles.
