Vient de terminer la rénovation intérieure dans un seul étage charmant Cottage avec cour clôturée. Entouré d’un acre d’arbres matures situé au 1680 nord et sur la route 133 au nord-ouest d’Omaha. 2 chambres 1 salle de bain avec une douche italienne. Les oiseaux chanteurs abondent. Parking pour beaucoup. En liaison directe avec l'aérodrome d'Eppley, le centre-ville d'Omaha, le zoo Henry Doorly ou le stade College World Series. 5 personnes. Marcher 1 bloc à l'épicerie, le carburant et les commodités. Animal accepté avec caution. Interdiction de fumer.

Perfect for our stay

Worked very well for our stay! Great location near a Walmart and Hy-Vee! Only thing I didn’t love was there was white animal hair all over the rugs and on the couch. However, other than that it was very clean and we enjoyed it!

Reasonable

We enjoyed our stay in Omaha. We found the manager very quick to respond and they allowed us to stay an extra hour past our check out time (which was helpful). The house was clean enough. The only issues we had was that there was no toilet paper, paper towels, or dish soap. The power went out once during our stay and overall it was a little noisy (I think it was the water heater).

Dog Show hideaway

Nice place to stay. Yard was great. Things that would have made it better. Instructions on how to use some of the appliances would have been great. List of close restaurants would have also been helpful/

Second Time Staying Here

This was our second time staying here and we did so, because we had an excellent stay last year and Shayne was an excellent host of this property. We were allowed to check-in early (we drove 20+ hours), and couldn't predict our exact arrival time. the cottage is located conveniently near everything that you'll need and we were able to travel back & forth to our boys homes very easily. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a good place to stay while in the Omaha area.

Just what we were looking for.

As former area residents we returned to Omaha from the Gulf Coast for our grandsons graduation at UNO. Cottage was perfect. Near all amenities but still felt a "country" atmosphere. Clean property and our dog loved the backyard. Great communication with Shayne to extend our stay by one day. Would absolutely stay again next year for another grandson's high school graduation.

Beautiful piece of property, easy access and close to everything. There were a few things that we weren't real happy with! When we arrived the front storm door was open and stuck up under the soffit, so we just left it. There was a huge patch of ice on the sidewalk and the back patio had not been shoveled. There was no toilet paper or paper towels. The internet did not work, so neither did the Smart TV! It would be nice to get some money refunded!

Omaha zoo stop

We arrived and had no trouble getting into or finding this house. Upon arrival we contacted the owner due to a few issues we noticed with housekeeping and supplies like toilet paper. She came right over and restocked and apologized as well. She is very friendly and the property suited our needs for our 2 night stop in Omaha. Pros: The beds were very comfortable, AC worked excellent, neighborhood is good and easy to find, home was overall tidy, and the internet and TV services worked as described. Improvements that could be made to make this little house even better would be to follow up on the cleaning services prior to guest arrival and restock, more towels, and perhaps a dehumidifier/fan in the bathroom.

Disappointing

We came a long way for my son to play in the slumpbuster tournament & we’re excited about staying here but we were a little disappointed that people were around the property as in mowing the lawn until 10:30 at night for our first night and watering plants until almost 10 on another night. It wasn’t an appropriate hour for that let alone the night whomever it was watering scared my kids because someone was just in the yard. The book left with instructions neither wifi passcode worked(wasn’t to big a deal). Also; we had to reach out the the property manager for a code as it was not provided before hand!

From other reviews the cleanliness could be better as well as keeping basic necessities like hand soap, paper towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies. After cleaning the refrigerator, bathroom, and washing the shower curtains to rid the bathroom of the mildew smell. What made up for these inconvenience was having a fully fenced in backyard. This place could really be something if it were cleaned properly and stocked with supplies. I have rental properties as well so when I saw a hand written reviews in the house binder from October that stated they didnt have hand soap and the smell from the bathroom was really bad. It only shows that the management of the property needs a revamp becausecomplaints are not being addressed. You cant have a cleaning fee if customers are cleaning your property.

I am an Auctioneer, Real Estate Broker, and a Women owned Business entrepreneur. I own several companies, and am in the franchise startup phase of my final business development passion.
I own two dogs, who travel with me everywhere, and we also stay in VRBO's.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

It is next door to my home. The original owners, a couple, Tom and Lillie, who lived there raised 5 children. They originally owned the 15 acres to the East of the property. They sold one parcel to put in a well, where before they had carried water in.
Tom groomed dogs and Lillie tailored garments, as well operated their cleaning company which cleaned the apartments just Southwest of the property when tenants moved out.
Tom had passed, and Lillie was preparing to remarry at age 86, so she decided she would sell the property to me.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Lily's is quiet, and secure. It is off the beaten path, yet the best amenities in Omaha are within a 15 minute drive. Having a Walmart close by, as well as a gas station saves a lot of time when you are travelling. The fenced yard allows visitors with children a great location, and those of us who travel with furry friends an opportunity to bring them along with no hassles.
