Grande retraite de la faune avec un acc��s à l'une des plus belles plages de la côte de l'Oregon. Le Meares Refuge Cap offre une excellente observation de la faune pour les espèces de faucons pèlerins �� baleines grises!

Cozy 1000 m�� maison avec une grande cour et des vues magnifiques sur le Pacifique. Vous pouvez observer les baleines passent de votre salon! La maison dispose d'un câble et Internet haute vitesse il est donc un excellent choix pour des vacances de travail.

C'est l'endroit idéal pour rester �� l'��cart de la foule mais il est commode de la plupart des grandes villes de la c��te. Situé dans un quartier tranquille qui jouxte la Mears Wildlife Refuge Cap, cette maison offre toutes les commodit��s pour vous faire oublier votre vie bien remplie.

La maison dispose de trois chambres. Deux des chambres ont des lits doubles et la troisième chambre a un canap��-lit queen size.

Vous pouvez prendre les escaliers à l'une des plus belles plages de la côte de l'Oregon, qui est bordée d'un côté par des falaises rocheuses et de l'autre par le phare du Cap Meare. Il ya des formations rocheuses, des cascades vers le bas de la plage, et une grande variété de la faune. La plage se rocheuse en hiver, mais le sable s'accumule tout au long de l'été.

Il existe une politique d'interdiction de fumer stricte dans cette maison qui est passible d'une amende de 500 $ pour toute preuve de fumer. Le foyer au bois n'est pas disponible pour les clients.

Great Location!

We snagged this house last minute and are so glad that we did! The location was perfect. The kids enjoyed the hot tub! The mattresses are not the most comfortable but overall the house was really great! Fit my family’s needs for a great little weekend getaway!

Oceanside retreat

Loved this place and the town. The hot tube and view were excellent. The beds were very comfortable. Our dog loved it too! We went to the two Oceanside beaches, Cape Mears, Cape Lookout, Manzanita and Short Sands, Bay Ocean Peninsula, and ate at Rosanna’s Cafe ( highly recommend) in Oceanside. So much to do!

Coastal Getaway

We loved the location and the views. The hot tub was great and so fun being able to see the ocean while in it. The one thing we thought could be improved on was the beds. They were kinda bad. Also there was no media access for the TV in the room with the couch. Would have been great to be able to put the kids in there to watch some shows. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. Great deal

Fabulous location and views, clean but spartan. The pullout couch in the 3rd bedroom is very uncomfortable for sleeping- it should be a bed, as there’s no reason to sit on the sofa in an empty white room with only an overhead light for company.

Quiet neighborhood

Pros: Hot tub and location was amazing, great view from the hot tub. It's a quiet little street out of town. Cons: the mattresses in the house were the worst I have ever slept on, they were absolutely horrible. House was a little outdated with a lot of little things not working quite right. If the mattresses could be replaced I would stay here again.

Great Location but needs attention to detail

The location is amazing, just a short walk from our favorite beach on the coast. The unit has a great view and is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. If there was better attention to detail this would get a 5 star review. However, the mattresses were old, dirty, and badly worn out, making sleep difficult. Also there wrre only 4 hangers in the unit, which is an odd amenity to skimp on given the cost. If the mattresses were replaced I'd highly recommend.

The house was fine. In the add for the home said it was 6 miles from Tillamook. If you are a bird that might be true, but I drive a car and it is probably at least 3 times that. The homes beds were squeaky and ancient. Now they are filing a claim against me that says I broke one if these beds. We did nothing other than sleep in them. I have been pleased with my past vrbo experiences. This is not a good experience

So many things wrong!

The hot tub was nice, but otherwise, broken kitchen faucet, limited kitchen equipment, dull knives, broken toilet seat, no kitchen pot holders, 20 year old double sized beds+ uncomfortable. Keyless entry lock is broken-took up to 12 times entering the code to open, broken bathroom shower head.

Don’t rent this place it’s very unclean

There were 8 burned out light bulbs, the lint trap looked like a blanket, it’s 1.5 bathrooms not 2, the mattress were very uncomfortable probably 30 years old and disgusting full of stains, ripped carpet in the rooms and the blinds don’t fit the window, sinks drain very slowly, one of the bedrooms had very tiny ants in the sheets, dishes in the kitchen we’re not clean, screen door falls off when you move it, blinds on the sliding door fall off if you open them, the list goes on and on, I’m pretty sure they bought everything from good will, and I don’t want to think about the hot tub I was in.

Dissapointing stay

This rental was a major letdown. The beds were ANCIENT and uncomfortable, with one frame completely broken and just sitting on the floor. There was a musty smell throughout the house, dust on all of the baseboards, hair in the bathroom, and we had a nightmare of an ant infestation. These pests invaded multiple bedrooms, even getting into and destroying prescription medication that we had. We also found ants in our food that had invaded the kitchen. The kitchen was equally disappointing with outdated appliances, old cutlery, and worn-out cookware. The house itself had a torn carpet in the living room with nails sticking out where there was once a seam connecting the kitchen tile to the living room carpet which just added to the overall poor condition of the place. There also seemed to be what felt like constant surveillance from nosy neighbors who seemed overly interested in our activities. It felt like we were constantly being watched. The hot tub was the only saving grace, although it lacked any maintenance or instructions. The location was decent, with "short beach" within quick walking distance, but the limited options in the area made this house desirable to us when booking however after staying here and experiencing this place beyond just looking at photos, this rental was a complete let down and we would not stay here again.

Could have been amazing, but….

The house and location are great!! The hike to short beach was fun! Things that need attention: -The beds are TERRIBLE! You can’t move without squeaks and the entire bed shifting. New mattresses cost maybe $200 on Amazon and would make a huge difference. -There’s a coffee pot, but no filters or coffee. A keurig and k-cups would be a beneficial upgrade. Or simply communicating that we needed to provide filters would have been helpful. -The hot tub was grimy and there was a system note that said that the filter needed to be cleaned. Why did I pay a hot tub fee for a dirty hot tub? -While staying the neighbors had a dog that came on the property and used the bathroom in the yard….. -Twice I reached out before the trip with questions, including verifying the hot tub was in working order. I never got a response. These issues could have been avoided with better management and some simple upgrades that would cost less than the cost we paid to stay for the weekend.

Oceanside Gem

We couldn't have been more pleased with this house. It is off the beaten path and provided us with a central location for all of our excursions. The house was clean, neat and provided plenty of room for 3 couples. I had some concerns booking without looking, but if this house is any indication of the other Vacasa rentals then I am sold on this concept. The only other comment I have about this house is be prepared for the beach access. It is steep, but well worth the stair climb up and down.

Quiet getaway

We love this place - it's small and quiet, great for kids, and has good access to the beach. It's well managed, clean, and has all the essentials. This is a great place if you need a weekend to recharge, or really want to get away from it all. Recommendations: the Tillamook Farmer's market was small but charming, and there are good fish markets in Garabaldi (also home to a great scenic railroad trip). Not much to "do", but that's not why you'd come here.

Loved it!

We had a great time on our vacation. My friend and I brought our kids, my daughter is 6 and her son is 7, for the weekend and neither kid wanted to leave at the end of our stay. The steps down to the beach were not exactly what we were expecting but still not too bad. Don't expect stairs the stairs to be in a nice straight row down to the beach. It's stairs down a little forested trail. My daughter wasn't a huge fan of them the first day but we had hiked Multanomah falls on our way there so she was already tired. Once we got to the beach there were tons of starfish and other sea creatures to look at. We found a few little crabs crawling around and quite a few sand dollars when we went down at low tide. There were also tons of agates. Both kids love rocks and wanted to buy some at every gift shop but we found more than enough at the beach. I loved that we were away from everything for the most part. The beach was pretty much empty every time we went to it. We woke up one morning and went to the Cape Meares lighthouse. We also checked out the octopus tree and hiked around one of the trails for a while. There were some people there with scopes set up so we could see some of the different birds that were out there. We did all of our grocery shopping in Tillamook, which isn't too far away. I had read some of the reviews saying there wasn't a grocery store in Oceanside so that had been our plan from the beginning. The house itself was great. We had plenty of room and everything was clean. The only thing I can really think of that needs to be done is the knives could be sharpened. We had a hard time cutting things for dinner. We also had no cell service. I had read one thing that said Verizon customers usually didn't have a problem with service but we couldn't get it. It was kind of nice to put the phones away for a little bit though so it wasn't a big deal. I have already recommended Vacasa to several people. I have never had such a great experience with customer service. Everyone I e-mailed or talked to on the phone was extremely helpful.

Garrison's - Seattle,WA July 2012

We had a great time! The house had plenty of room for our familly of 3. Our 4 year old had a great time and the wifi made it easy to find things to do and places to go in the local area. Oceanside has a very nice beach and the Oregon Coast is wonderfull. We can't wait to come back again. The only thing I would change is the BBQ - it is a very small size and doesn't get very hot.

Oceanside Vacation

We LOVE staying at Oceanside because it is not a tourist hot spot! We have stayed at the cabins on the beach in Oceanside but because of last minute plans they were booked. We stay at the house on Radar Road and thought it was great. It might not be on the beach but we still had a little view of the ocean and we could hear the waves crashing. It was close to the beach and short drive to the Oceanside beach!!
