Welcome to the Birdhouse.
The Birdhouse is located in the NW of San Antonio.Just minutes away from Sea World San Antonio,and a short 20 minute drive to the historic pearl and Riverwalk.12 minute to Lackland AFB,20 minute to Six Flag Fiesta.The backyard private lot with a covered patio.BBQ grill,and an incredible swimming pool with lounge chairs.
This property has 3 exterior cameras that record video, images, audio.
We have 2 Security cameras,one on the front door facing the
driveway and the garage, the second one on the backyard facing the pool area.

A great stay

Good location - close to everything! Lots of space to enjoy and the pool and game room were very nice (fyi hubby made sure he has top score on pac-man). Staff was excellent and welcoming. Snacks and water bottles and donuts oh my! Would definitely stay here again.

Great Accommodations for our family!

We were delighted with our stay here! The rooms were a wonderful size, everything was nicely updated. The pool was where we spent most of our time! We were in town for a tournament and this house made our stay comfortable and fun!

Great Place

Great place to stay and we enjoyed a lot! House very clean and with great fragrances in every room, great appliances, playroom with pool table and games! Great communication with owner who always answer any questions in no time! Great spot and we would love to come back.

Great place to hang out and relax. Pool was very serene. Pool table and video arcade games were fun. Owner is very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed.

Great house!

The house was equipped with everything we needed a more! The pool and game room were a nice relaxation for when we were there. Our son just graduated an only was allowed a short time with us each day and he enjoyed the amenities and layout of the rooms. The owner also added a special touch to include flags in the front yard to honor his graduation just an all around great stay?

Great stay!

Perfect place to spend time our Airman during BMT graduation. He wanted a place to spend time with his kids and relax with family and this house was the place to do it! Close enough to the Air Force base as well as the Riverwalk and Pearl restaurants and shopping. Check in was super easy and house had all the stuff we needed. Pool was perfect! Thanks again!

Nice getaway

So close to the riverwalk and SeaWorld. Pool was so nice for the hot days. Game room was perfect when we needed to get out of the sun. Loved the pool table. Neighboorhood was quiet.

Great Family Rentsl

We chose this property due to proximity to Sea World. The property was exactly as presented online. The property is set up well for families. As a mom I really appreciated the back door security. I did not worry about kids unsupervised in pool. There is also a super fun duck pond and park nearby. Our stay was relaxing and comfortable.

It was fine

I must say it's the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed at!!! Everything immaculate! But, there were so many flies and mosquitoes. It's impossible to grill outside. The location of the house is not good either. Cops at different houses every other day.

We have police officers living in the neighborhood,and the neighborhood is very quite and has a large number of retires from the military base lackland. and in the summer time mosquitoes out everywhere.

The property manager was very helpful and on the ball if we needed anything. The house has laundry detergent, basic kitchen needs, water, they had a basket of snacks, and brought us donuts one morning! The house was clean, nice and the air worked! We live in a rural area, so the only thing that was unusual for us was how close the houses are to each other. You can see in each others yards, but I would say that is the normal for this area and not something I would knock the rating down for.

We'll Be Back!!!

This home was absolutely perfect for our family of 6. It was so clean, so uncluttered, so peaceful...just an absolute dream for a family vacation. The pool was wonderful, the large comfy couch that fit our whole family for movies was wonderful, the large family dinner table for games and meals was wonderful, the spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, the backyard grill and seating...literally everything was great. The game room was wonderful, we were able to teach our teens how to play pool. It could use a foosball table but that's just my 2cents hehe. The clothes dryer and the ice maker on the fridge didn't work when we got there but the management company was so quick to respond back and send out a repair team that I was left extremely impressed. This home gave our family the most beautiful of memories and we hope to come back.

Birdhouse Review

I would give this an overall 3.5 stars. First we were very happy with how clean the house was and updated it was as pictured. Major downfall was the bird houses in the back yard right next to the pool and patio. We had to place towels to set on the patio couch and chairs due to the bird droppings and nest.My family and I love birds I did not expect them to be right on the patio with us. The patio loungers and dinner table chairs outside were worn out to the point of being ripped and unable to use 2 of the pool loungers due to their condition. The pool was very dirty even though it was cleaned the day after we arrived due to the birds and a tree over the pool. We had to clean it daily to get leaves and sticks out of the pool for our kids to swim. I know it is not a heated pool but for people renting it would be a great option to add. The backyard picture was very inviting but I will say they failed to take a picture of the patio looking out over the pool. Behind the pool is a worn out fence that needs a lot of repairs or even replaced. The neighbors yard behind the pool is full of junk in which you have to see while trying to set and relax by the pool. The neighbor also has dogs that bark all night long. If you are going to stay and do not plan on using the back yard it is a great option as it is close to many things in San Antonio and house is very nice inside. I will also say the house was so strong of air fresheners we had to unplug them all due to having headaches.
