Great house, wonderful view!

This is just the perfect house, super spacious, very well equipped with everything you need! The view is amazing, the infinity pool is just awesome - kids loved it as well! Diana is vrry helpful & super fast to reply any questions we had. Many thanks Diana! Pura vida!

Beautiful!

We stayed here as a family of 4. Absolutely beautiful home and property. My kids loved the pool and each having their own bathroom. We watched toucans and other birds in the trees and iguanas, Jesus lizards and geckos run around the grounds. A/C in the bedrooms was lovely. The living room and kitchen could be a bit stuffy in the middle of the day, but we were out by the pool during those hours anyway!

Uvita Paradise

This house was perfect for our stay in Uvita. Very convenient to the great beaches and restaurants in the area. The house itself was very good, excellent AC in the bedrooms and everything worked well. As another reviewer mentioned the road to the house is a bit daunting the first time up, but it's really not an issue. I would recommend a 4WD, but I made it with a 2WD no problem. Communication with the owner on WhatsApp was prompt and easy. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Ed

Beautiful home and setting

The view, home, pool, and setting were great, Roberto met with us at our arrival and showed us around the property, he’s great. I suppose I would have liked to know the exact location prior to the morning we were to arrive, only because some homes we’ve stayed are up to 10-30 km from the generic listing pin. In this case it’s pretty close. We had a few hiccups that had nothing to do with the hosts: incoming weather took out power for about 12 hours but we communicated well and everything worked out fine. Diana and Roberto seemed genuinely concerned about the quality of our stay.

The best location in Uvita

This property has it all. We are still wishing we were sitting on the huge balcony watching the Toucans and Macaws. If you want to be immersed in the tropical jungle this is the spot. The natural wildlife we saw and heard was the icing on the cake. You really are in for an adventure staying here. A 4x4 is a must to get to the house. Coming from the the states we dont often encounter 4x4 roads to get home. You get used to it and even our teenage daughter drove up to the house. The road is intimidating at first but then becomes easy. The property is beautiful and well taken care of. We felt right at home and soaking in the tub hearing the jungle at night is an experience ill be thinking of till we return. The property has everything you will need for your stay pots, pans, cooking utensils blender and coffee maker just to name a few. We didnt need an outlet converter for charging our phones etc. (coming from US) Diana is an amazing host and communication was great. She was there for every question I had and even allowed us to extend our stay. As far as food goes. There are so many restaurants just down the hill from the house. The BM grocery store is right in Uvita not far from the house. If you have the opportunity to stay at this beautiful property book it now! You will not regret that decision and you may just want to extend you stay also.

Great overall, but a few suggestions.

The house itself is really nice. It's well built, and in a secluded off the beaten path location. It's as listed with 3 bedrooms and 3 and a half baths which was great for our family. It has air conditioning in the bedrooms, has amazing views and we were even able to see some wildlife on the property including some beautiful toucans one morning. We did struggle with communication with the owner. - because it wasn't arranged a few days prior to arrival (owner was trying to contact us the day of when we were flying) we didn't get key drop off arranged in a timely manner and were locked out on arrival which happened to be in the middle of the night. None of the three contact numbers would answer the phone at that point and since the house is in the jungle we were stuck in a very remote spot with no options for alternative hotels etc. A simple text with instructions on how to obtain the key after hours would have helped immensely! We finally got in at 1:30 a.m. by finding an open window. We tried to reach out during the stay with some minor issues (no bath soaps, difficulty with the dishwasher, no dishwasher detergent) but didn't get a response until the day we left. To make this a five star stay, I highly recommend owner: 1.Communicate key drop instructions a few days ahead of scheduled arrival date. 2. Deep clean the interior 3. Make sure renters know to bring convenience items like bath soap. 4. Update dishwasher. 5. Replace old bedding and towels.
