MEILLEURE VUE à UVITA, VUE SUR L'OCEAN VUE DE littéralement TOUTES les chambres et les douches.
Conception Kincaid avec toit de style japonais, super grandes chambres avec portes-fenêtres de 16 ', lustres de Murano Italie, granit, marbre, tuiles espagnoles, piscine à débordement et piscine extérieure chauffée avec vue sur la mer, situés sur 4 hectares de jungle principale avec abondance de toucans et de cusingas un paradis pour les ornithologues. L'ouverture de la conception vous fait sentir comme si vous êtes un avec la nature et il y a des vues sur l'océan de chaque pièce, y compris les douches. Toutes les chambres sont immenses et il y a très peu de murs qui crée des vues uniques et relations dimensionnelles qui rendent une sensation libre et tranquille!
La 3ème chambre est une partie bouclée d'un immense salon avec une penderie, une salle de bain et une douche extérieure chauffée. C'est la seule chambre à cet étage. Regarde la photo.

This house has it all - seclusion, views of the whale tail, pool, well-appointed kitchen, and more. We’ve stayed in a lot of rental properties and this one had so many thoughtful touches. Jeison, the property manager, was amazing. He stayed up to greet us at nearly midnight after several travel delays. The directions to the house were clear, though you MUST have 4WD. There are a lot of stairs, so be mindful if you have mobility issues. The bedrooms do not have AC, but we were plenty comfortable with open air and fans. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved this trip. First I will start with the owner. Del was incredibly detailed and responsive. He happened to be in the area from the States and was took us for a personally guided tour of the region. Jeison the property manager was incredible. He lives close by on the property, but not so close you would even know he was around expect when we had a question or something came up. The property is amazing with an incredible view. My recommendation for making it better is the furnishings in the living room and on the patio could be upgraded to be more comfortable while enjoying the surroundings. During the day, you are surrounded by Toucan's, that talk all day long, and in the evening you are sung to my the cacophony of insect sounds was not unpleasant. The evening view from the deck is the lights of Uvita. The pool is awesome.Our first morning we were awoken by howler monkey's making themself known. They seemed to back off as time went on, likely due to our little dog. The drive requires a four wheel drive, but Del was able to rent us a solid modern vehicle. My recommendation to Del is that the downstairs furnishings on the deck and in the living space could use an uplift to be more comfortable to hang out.I would recommend not taking a rushed trip. We stayed for almost five weeks, which seemed long by the end, but I wouldn't recommend less than two weeks to really get a chance to experience Pura Vida.

Thank you for your numerous detailed positive comments on our house. We appreciate them and also take them seriously. As we get longer rentals we now realize that people who rent for longer periods have different priorities.We are looking into some more comfortable recliner chairs.

Thanks for staying at Del Congos Exotica. We are unique in that 98% of all Uvita rental houses are on less than an acre of land and we have 13 1/2 acres and can’t see any neighbors, ultimate privacy!!!

Del Congos Exotica is on 13 1/2 acres with primary jungle thus lots of wildlife and privacy! Rentals are on small lots close to each other and much less wildlife. We are gated and have a 24/7 full-time maintenance person who lives on site for security.

Magical Paradise

The property is beautiful and the view is incredible! The house is lovely and the pool is perfect for cooling off or enjoying watching the whale tail dissapear and reappear with the tide. The road to get there is not for the faint of heart but it is totally worth it! Be sure to enjoy the trails for your own private jungle tour.

Yes, everyone enjoys the privacy and the incredible view. It is by far the best in Uvita. We look forward to your return. As you mentioned, the rental car companies rarely give you the proper vehicle for the mountains. This is why we rent our vehicles which are turbo diesel with all-terrain tires!

Memories we will never forget!!

Picture this: waking up in a cozy house perched high on a mountain in Costa Rica, where the air is crisp and the views are endless. You spend your days exploring hidden waterfalls, and sipping coffee grown from the locals. We loved our stay in this property, made our Costa Rican adventure all the better. We were out and about pretty much the whole trip, but in the occasional rainy day, we would’ve appreciated a couple of board games/ puzzles and comfortable couches.

Adrian, the caretaker was very responsive to a few issues we had - beautiful spot -great pool. People need to be aware there is NO air conditioning - we thought there was. It could be installed in the bedrooms. Definitely need a 4 wheel drive to access this property.

Del Congo Stay

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home and it was lovely. We enjoyed the pool and the grounds. Only special note when they say you need 4x4 they mean it! Once you get up there it is beautiful, we loved seeing the Lappas, monkeys and Tucans!

There are 30 other rental homes (all of them on the same typical Costa Rican mountainous roads )which are in our development, ours being the closest to town, yet the most secluded and private, and best view of all of them. Great House Overlooking Uvita

The house and property are stunning. The house is very modern with incredible views. There are two master bedrooms on the upper level. Both have the same amazing views and both have separate balconies. There is no separate bedroom downstairs and no downstairs inside shower.

Thank you Del and Adrian for an amazing visit! This is our fifth time in Costa Rica, and fourth time in the Uvita/Dominical area! The house was clean, spacious and well equipped for cooking. The view was exceptional, the grounds well kept, and the pool was the perfect temp!! Definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing time in Costa Rica!FYI, absolutely nothing against this gorgeous property…but there is no AC, only naturally accruing cooler temperatures at night. There are however multiple ceiling fans inside and out, as well as standing fans in the bedrooms!

Thank you for your kind words. Being on a point of a mountain affords many luxuries, the most amazing views in all of the southern Costa Rica coast, Del Congos Exotica is located at 1650 feet elevation, sheltered by huge primary Jungle trees, (except the pool area), the temperature is perfect along with the architectural design for airflow throughout the house, and even gets cold at night, and you have to close the windows. Much healthier than air conditioning as you breathe the pure air produced by the jungle. It just doesn’t get any better.!!! get ready to experience a little heaven on earth…

Thank you for staying at Del Congos Exotica. Back in 2002 (before Uvita had a grocery store or a bank) I purchased the 13 1/2 acres where my home is built. The criteria were view, privacy, small waterfall,and oneness with nature and God. Those that have stayed at Del Congos Exotica have found all that and more. Explore the more than 1Km of private trails , take in the 50 miles of breathtaking oceanfront view from every room and the large infinity edge pool . Wake up to the sounds of toucans ,many exotic songbirds and monkeys. This amount of privacy is a rare find in any part of the world especially with such a spectacular view. Nice home with exceptional view of the Whale Tail

Del was quick to respond to questions & fulfilled a last minute request to rent one to his vehicles for our 3 day stay. Alex & Estefany were wonderful. The dirt/rocky road to property ABSOLUTELY requires a COMPETENT 4x4 driver & vehicle . Enjoyed our stay. Loved the pool with a gorgeous view of the Whale Tail.

The road is in great shape now. I’m saddened that this event which was outside my control made you not give a 5 star! Glorious Stay

Amazing property for Birthday week. The pool and whole home have the most beautiful view and is surrounded by wildlife. Internet was strong but the tv was unavailable due to no remote and the outdoor grill needs a little help. The home is like a museum to Costa Rica and Uvita....filled with awesome artwork and masks available to purchase. Del was a perfect host showing the property and full of local information. Beautiful vacation on Whalestail!

I checked the TV remote and found that someone had dropped it and the connection worked once I put it back together.! Like all electronics in the jungle, the electronic Spark on the barbecue needed a new battery and has been fixed. I was really glad to hear that you will be returning soon!

Uvita Jungle House

Great house really fun really well maintained with a amazing view! Right in there with nature you can’t ask for a better setting this home is nestled in the jungle high up a beautiful mountain. Not only that it over looks this amazing national park called the whales tail, the view of the beach is second to none. Owner is super responsive and the roorrty manager is awesome as well, I highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to visit Costa Rica!!

Jungle get away with a view.

We had a great time at Del Congos Exotica. It was exactly what we were looking for, a private getaway with a great view and beautiful lush vegetation. The drive up to the house is not for the faint of heart and absolutely requires a 4x4 vehicle, but it all felt like an adventure. Oscar and Alicia were great caretakers. They were helpful and responsive to questions about the house.

Beautiful view

This house is located way up on the mountain. It has a beautiful view of the Whales tail. From the bedrooms and pool deck. Inside the house is very spacious. Plenty of room for two families. It was just me and my wife. Adri the caretaker is great and will help you out if you need anything. The pool nice but was a bit cold when we were there .You will need a all wheel or 4 wheel deive vehicle to get upthe mountain

The location on the mountain affords great privacy, much cooler temperatures than the beach And the cleanest air in the world because of the surrounding primary Jungle! it is a bird lovers paradise! A trip to paradise

Everything met or exceeded our expectations. Our stay at Casa Del Congo was relaxing, fun and private. The house is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the surrounding rainforest is magical, the view is breathtaking, and the host (Del) and his property management team (Alex and Estephany) were kind, helpful, and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We could not have asked for a better escape to paradise. Thank you!
