Lattice House est l'ultime villa tropicale. Situé dans une réserve privée de 60 acres, à 3 minutes au-dessus de la magnifique Playa Hermosa, entouré de jungle, vous profiterez de vues spectaculaires sur l'océan depuis chaque chambre, les ponts et la piscine à débordement.

Profitez de son architecture moderne unique à Bali et de ses finitions et meubles sur mesure, tous importés de Bali. Lattice House a été construit et a été entretenu avec amour comme ma maison, et vous vous sentirez comme si c'était votre propre paradis privé pour votre séjour.

Vous aurez un gestionnaire / concierge sur place et un chef sur place pour prendre en charge votre transport terrestre, vos activités, vos repas pris en charge et vos réservations de restaurant, afin que vous puissiez passer tout votre temps à vous détendre et à profiter de votre séjour.

Lattice House est idéalement situé à mi-chemin entre Dominical et Uvita, juste à côté de l'autoroute côtière. Vous n'aurez pas à passer vos précieuses vacances à parcourir des routes de montagne pour profiter de vues et d'une intimité incroyables. La réserve comprend de grands espaces de type parc, des vergers et de la jungle, avec des sentiers menant à de nombreux ruisseaux et cascades. Dans toutes les directions, vous ne voyez que le littoral des eaux vives, les montagnes ou la forêt tropicale. Chaque jour, vous pouvez voir et entendre des singes hurleurs et à face blanche, des manteaux, des tayras, des agouties, des paresseux, des toucans, des aracaries, des colibris, des perroquets et des dizaines d'autres espèces d'oiseaux, tous depuis les ponts de la maison.
Lattice House est un endroit spectaculaire, et je suis heureux de le partager avec nos clients.

La chambre principale avec lit king, une chambre avec lit queen et deux salles de bain complètes sont au niveau principal; deux chambres (une reine, deux lits jumeaux ou un roi) et une salle de bain complète sont au niveau inférieur. Il y a deux canapés dans le salon qui peuvent être utilisés comme lits supplémentaires.

Lattice House possède toutes les commodités que vous attendez dans une maison de luxe et bien plus encore: piscine à débordement totale partiellement couverte avec jacuzzi chauffé; quatre terrasses et terrasses couvertes; climatisation dans toutes les chambres; planchers et salles de bains en ardoise et marbre; treillis et bois durs de Bali; salle de bain principale extérieure avec baignoire en cuivre; douche extérieure à l'italienne au rez-de-chaussée; éviers en cuivre et en pierre; cuisine entièrement équipée en acier inoxydable; beaux meubles, œuvres d'art et accessoires.

We had an absolutely wonderful 7-day stay here in May 2026. The property was so nice, we spent many days just enjoying the pool and seeing animals right from the deck. It was a good home base for a few adventures as well, and the area was wild and beautiful jungle that we were constantly in awe of. Ana the concierge was a great help in setting up a car rental delivered to the house, massages by the pool, adventures in the area, and some of the best chef services we've enjoyed on vacation from Chef Koko. An absolute must to have him prepare one of his local dishes while you watch the sunset over the beach. House, location, staff, privacy - all five stars, could not have been better. If you're looking for paradise, this really might be it. We can't wait to come back.

The house was truly amazing! Great view of the ocean, many birds and lizards. Main areas open to the outside light and airy. Bedrooms with a/c comfortable at night. The concierge , Ana , arranged transportation, excursions, meals, maid service all flawlessly.

The property was absolutely beautiful! When we weren't exploring Costa Rica and going on excursions, we were hanging out in the pool watching the wildlife around us, grilling out, taking walks along the property and just loving our time at Lattice House! I can't recommend this property enough!

A truly relaxing vacation with kids--yes, it's possible. Ana made everything a breeze, the house is well appointed, and primely positioned to take advantage of everything the south of Costa Rica has to offer. We'll be back :)

We loved this house. Absolutely beautiful! The grounds were meticulously maintained. We saw monkeys, Macaws, Toucans, javelinas, coatis, capybaras, and so many fabulous birds. The views are breathtaking. You feel like you are at your own private resort. Ana, the concierge is the best. She is so helpful and makes the stay so easy. I would recommend this home to anyone. AMAZING!

On my rating of you as a guest, I rated 5 stars on every category, but for some reason I must have made an error and it shows a thumbs down on would you rent to you again. The Lattice house was amazing and the view is beautiful/hermosa! We loved being there and enjoying the two Macaws that came to visit us daily. It is a beautiful location- we love Dominical. Alturas wildlife refuge was so educational and wonderful to learn about the animals of CR-plus the fee to tour it goes directly to the care of the animals there. Rainmaker park in Quepos is also a great park for hiking with many suspended bridges. Angie and Allen did a great job making sure we were taken care of while there!

This is easily the nicest place I've ever stayed, hotel or otherwise. The house is about 1/4 mile up a beautifully landscaped driveway behind a gated entrance. The house itself lived up to the photos.There were six in my party, and everyone slept very comfortably in one of the four air-conditioned bedrooms. During the day we opened all of the sliding doors. The main part of the house and the patio/pool area provide enough room for everyone to spread out.The kitchen is very well appointed, and we had everything we needed to prepare several of our own meals. There are grocery stores nearby in Uvita and Dominical if you choose to cook for yourself.We also bought the services of Chef Mayron for breakfast and dinner of two of the days. Chef Mayron and Harold prepare full meals that were fantastic. When they are done, they clean up everything to the point you can't tell they were ever there. Don't do what we did by trying to finish everything in one sitting and you'll have plenty of leftovers, too.We can't say enough about Ana, the concierge. Ana lives close by and is very responsive to questions and requests. Ana also took care of setting up airport and hotel transportation on both ends of the trip. She also arranged for a rental vehicle that was delivered to the house the first morning after we arrived.Lastly, Patricia, the owner, was very prompt and responsive from the beginning of the rental process. 100% we would visit again!

As the habitat even in Costa Rica is shrinking, reserves like ours become more and more crucial in protecting the animals and their habitats. After 20 years of trying to attract them, we have our first pair of nesting Scarlet McCaws. I am so happy our guests are able to share in this wonderful project.

What an amazing home, or should I say estate! Staying here was like being invited into a private resort. Whatever you could want is there for you, the views are breathtaking, and the nature is everywhere. Just while relaxing at the pool, we saw scarlet macaws and all sorts of other birds, monkeys, and coatis in the trees, as well as huge lizards and great curassows scurrying through the grass. And we woke almost daily to the roar of howlers monkeys. The master bedroom opens onto a huge deck surrounded by trees, with a copper tub and outdoor shower. Gorgeous and well stocked kitchen too! Working with the owner Pat and property concierge Ana could literally not have been easier, more promp, or more delightful. Their area suggestions and the arrangements they made for us were perfect. We especially enjoyed the guide they chose for us for Manuel Antonio NP, how knowledgeable and skilled he was. I've posted a few of the images he snapped for us through his scope. (Two of the pictures are the scarlet macaw we saw at the property, and a sunset we experienced in Uvita, the others are by the Manuel Antonio guide.) Enjoy.

Our family had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house. Close to so many fun activities. Ana was the best concierge and arranged everything for us. She had so much patience with our large family group and several changes we had to make. We all completely enjoyed 2 dinners cooked by Alexandra. Couldn't recommend more highly!

My late husband and I purchased the property in 2000, and finished our retirement home in 2007. We loved the whole 3 year process of working with the Costa Rican and Balinese architects and designers and overseeing the building of our dream home. We originally planned to live there full-time, but that was before 15 grandchildren came along, and we decided to split time between Costa Rica and Houston/Galveston. Unfortunately, he did not live long after Lattice House was completed, and I decided to spend more time at my home in Galveston, near family and friends, and to share my home in Costa Rica with others who will love it as much as I do. I still get to spend about 3 months a year there--mostly in the summer when I can escape the Texas heat! I have wonderful friends there and treasure every minute I am there. We have wonderful times---hiking, swimming, boogie boarding, bird watching, and sharing wonder meals at home and in local restaurants. The picture is from a dinner at Lattice House on my trip last summer--me in the middle rear, surrounded by some of my closest Costa Rican friends who are fortunate to be full-timers, and Michael McCoy, second from the right front, from Bali, who was the primary designer and who continues to send new furnishings. Since that picture, he has had made for me beautiful new coconut dining chairs. Lattice House and Reserva de Achiote are my love, and all the rental income goes to its upkeep and improvement.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My husband and I wanted to retire to the tropics and in the early 90's started looking in Costa Rica. We loved the idea that it was so democratic and had no army. The first place we visited in 1993 was Dominical, but at that time there was no paved road from Jaco, and we decided it was just too remote for our later years. We looked all over CR, and by the time we decided no place was as beautiful as the southern Pacific coast, the road had been paved to Quepos and there were a few crucial amenities. We spent 3 years looking at property and finally in 2000 found Achiote, the most beautiful, accessible, and private property in the area. I retired in 2005, and the next day we were on a plane to our paradise.
