Relax your cares away in the elevated, beachfront six-person hot tub. This is island living at its best. Spend your days soaking up the Florida sun while taking in views of the island’s award-winning sugar sand beaches and turquoise waters. Curl up with a good book and a refreshing beverage and enjoy the Gulf breezes on one of the fabulous decks.

There are lots of options for activities with exclusive property amenities including community swimming pools, tennis courts, fitness center, nature trails, a multi-use path, and access to Bob Sikes Cut.

The exterior of this home offers concrete parking under the home and a private boardwalk to the sandy shore with wonderful built-in benches to take in the views. At the end of the day, enjoy the enclosed outdoor shower. A fish cleaning area and gas grill are provided for your fresh catch.

The first level of this home offers everyone’s sleeping quarters, each with its own TV. The primary bedroom enjoys sweeping Gulf views, a private bathroom with a jetted bathtub, a stereo, and direct access through French doors to the covered deck. The second bedroom enjoys direct access to the north balcony as well as the Gulf deck. The third bedroom is appointed with direct access to the covered deck with amazing views of the sparkling Gulf. Two shared bathrooms with showers are provided on this floor as well as a laundry area with a washer/dryer.

The spacious and open-concept living area spans the entire second level of this home. A large wood-burning fireplace in the living area is perfect in the cooler months and five sets of large sliding doors invite you to the large, furnished and covered deck. A large queen sleeper sofa, TV, and stereo appoint the living room. The dining room seats six at the table which is perfect for meals with family and friends, board games, and puzzles. The well-appointed kitchen features breakfast bar seating for four. Take the center staircase to the rooftop deck and enjoy the most incredible stargazing you could imagine. A DVD player, VCR, DVD, CD, and VHS library are provided for guest entertainment.

Home is located ON the beach on St. George Island. Amazing location if you are looking for a low key and quiet vacation on the beach. Home was functional, but everything was dated. Furniture, beds, kitchen, and baths could all be update. For the ‘lower to comparisons’ price point, we got what we needed and expected.

Great house in great location

This is a great house that is very well equipped with lots of amenities, wonderful decks from which to watch the ocean, easy access to the beach, and lots of space for my family of six adults and one dog. Some of the appliances, cabinets and furniture are worn (I initially thought they were dirty but the place is very clean) and could use replacement. We had some issues with the internet and washing machine but maintenance was very responsive and these were fixed within a day. Overall this was a very comfortable place to stay and I highly recommend it.

Great house steps from the beach

This house was plenty big with lots of room. It had everything we needed, even little things like extra hangers in the closet, a magnifying mirror in bathroom, and so many comfortable chairs on the porches. We loved sitting on porch (on both levels) with our coffee looking at the beach. We set up corn hole on huge porch and had lots of fun. The beach did not have large crowds (which we loved) and we were approx. 40 steps from porch to the beach. We worried about the bathroom issue in previous reviews not having one on the top floor, however since there were three downstairs this was really never an issue. We would definitely stay here again!

Not What We Hoped For

This home has some decent features and lots of great possibilities, but for the price and cleaning/mainenance/management fees, definitely NOT worth the money. The pictures do not accurately represent the true basic condition of the home. There is visible mold in the kitchen, master bath and above doorways, walls and handrail going up the steps had visible dirt, soap not cleaned out of the sinks, furry ceiling fans, hard water stains on everything that has water, etc. Several ammenities like the bikes did not appear safe, as well as the kayaks - wouldn't even attempt to take these in the ocean. The telescope is broken, and don't go on the deck without shoes on - rusty nails! The view is great, the location is nice...but it needs a major overhaul and better cleaning, maintenance and management. It reminds me of a poor dog in a puppy mill that just keeps getting used over and over again with no regard for her true condition. I really hoped for better with this rental.

Beautiful property, excellent views...

...well-stocked kitchen, well-maintained hot tub, comfortable beds, and the added bonus of a game/video closet for the kids. I dropped down one star only because the home is showing some wear and needs a few repairs. The kitchen cabinets could stand a repaint, but that's just a minor observation. However, the other two problems we noticed could potentially be hazardous: several places on the deck-patio railings are either very loose or completely disconnected and certainly wouldn't provide any safety in the event of a fall. And second, during a thunderstorm one night the hatch on the rooftop somehow blew open (loud boom, rain coming down inside). When we climbed the high stairs to investigate, it was very difficult to close the hatch against the wind, and then we couldn't find any mechanism which would secure it. We finally found a kitchen utensil that would fit and secure the latch, but it probably needs to be looked into.

King's Crown in The Plantation

We love this beachfront house and have returned for five years. It's a beautiful house and has two wonderful decks and a hot tub on the beach side to relax with the sound and sight of the waves. Each year we have brought our two dogs Tux and Elsa, who love to go out on the beach at sunrise. In November there are very few others there, so it feels like we have the beach to ourselves. This year was bittersweet, as the price to stay for one week will increase $1,500 more for the same week next year. This is more than double the rent we paid our first year here. As much as we love it, we cannot rationalize paying this outrageous rent for one week. It's truly lovely if you can afford it.

Nice but needs maintenance

Views were fantastic, access to beach amazing, generally nice but in need of maintenance, and would be nice to have a restroom (at least a half bath) on the main living floor, rather than all of the restrooms on the lower level.

Perfect location

We loved the location and all the home had to offer. We are an older couple with two dogs, and it was perfect for us. Lots of steps, but that was to be expected. The washer and dryer were efficient and held bigger loads. It was a very clean property, and it was easy to park with plenty of space for our toys. RVP management responded to minor issues immediately, and the WiFi reception was good. It was a very clean property. Overall, we had an excellent experience. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
