The location is as amazing as other reviews say. The small beach used by this complex almost disappears at high tide but at low tide it’s a wonderland of small marine life with easy snorkeling. This unit is small (about 700 sq ft) but quite adequate for our family of 2 adults and one teenager. Well equipped and the shower drained well and provided clean warm water. Nice community pool on the property. No AC was no problem for us as the curling fans and near constant sea breezes were soothing.

Paradise

Kappa Sands was paradise. The views are amazing and made our trip. Location is central to many things. Pool looks smaller than online but we had the whole thing to ourselves most days and it was lovely. I hope to be back soon.

Super quiet! The setting was quaint and ideal with the right amount of island vibe. Morning sunrises and Evening sunsets were superb. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for my friend to come visit me in Kauai at!

Perfect vacation spot

The backyard and little secluded beach are nothing short of perfect. The place is a little beach-rustic, but still in good condition and makes for a pleasant stay. Location is short drive to shops and restaurants and close to their airport.

Amazing Hawaiian Beach Home

Wonderful views with steps to the beach. Great surfing beaches nearby. Very quiet property and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. Go to sleep to the sound of the waves. Amazing pool and grounds. Very well kept up! Would highly recommend this place!

Very nice property with a small beach. Very clean. There was no air conditioning but the ocean breeze kept it comfortable. Close to everything.

The location of this property was great! We had amazing views, with an outdoor area great for relaxing. The home itself had everything we needed for a weeklong stay. Everything was pretty close to perfect!

Enjoyed our stay.

The property is in an excellent location to enjoy shopping and restaurants. A private shoreline with a beautiful view. The only downside was not having air conditioning. Other then that it’s ideal for a quiet relaxing vacation.

Not what we hoped for

We saw excellent reviews but overall we wished we had not stayed. The ocean view was fabulous. Breakfast on the lanai every morning was wonderful.The lack of AC was miserable. Inside temperatures and humidity were oppressive. The humidity caused a musty smell along with a lot of rusting parts. We couldn’t latch the screen door because it was rusted so we had to shut the glass door which made the temperature worse.The inside of the house could use some paint. The furnishings and decorations were dated and not in great shape. Overall it was a big disappointment for the price. We use VRBO quite a bit but this was not a good experience.

Great value for being in the Kapaa area.

Easy to find, from the airport. Easy to get to places to eat and see. All of the amenities needed if you want to stay and make your own meals. They had beach chairs available too. Beds were comfortable. The ocean sounds and breezes rocked you to sleep.

Great quiet paradise

We loved the property, location, etc. We stayed for 2 weeks and my only suggestion would be to leave more than 4 bath towels when youre staying 2 weeks. Also a change of bed linens after a week would be nice but overall we had a good visit and would definitely stay here again
