VENEZ RESTER avec nous, juste avant le début de la saison complète pour un long week-end ou une semaine en juin. Réservez votre semaine de vacances dans ce plan d'étage ouvert avec une nouvelle cuisine avec des appareils en granit et en acier inoxydable, un nouveau plancher de bois franc, de nouvelles salles de bain, des terrasses et bien plus encore. Le rez-de-chaussée a 4BR et 2BA. La maison a également un tout nouveau niveau inférieur qui a une unité 1BR, 1BA qui est parfaite pour les enfants ou un deuxième couple. Sea Del est une communauté privée de North Bethany Beach à distance de vélo des magasins et des restaurants de Bethany Beach. Cette maison est à quelques pas de la plage, sans route à traverser pour marcher jusqu'à l'océan! Profitez des sports nautiques et du golf à proximité. La côte du Delaware a quelque chose pour tout le monde.

Awesome North Bethany Vacation

This house was perfect for our family (kids and grandkids). Great living space, kitchen and decks. Area under the house was great place for grandkids to play. If we had known the bottom level suite was so private, we would have invited another couple to come along! Great neighborhood and private beach. Overall awesome vacation and host was very easy to communicate with!

Our second stay

Was as nice as our visit last season. This is a perfect house for a family beach week. Plenty of room and a short walk to a beautiful, wide and uncrowded beach. See you next year.

Great Beach House

We enjoyed our stay! The house was in a great location. We enjoyed the outdoor screened in deck. Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas and a wagon to pull everything to the beach. Owner was quick to respond when contacted.

A great week at a wonderful beach house

This property has everything you need for a great vacation in Bethany Beach. Plenty of room, a well equipped kithchen, spacious screened-in outdoor areas and lots of beach equipment for the short walk to a beautiful uncrowded beach. Our host Lance quickly responded to our questions and was very helpful. A perfect place for a family vacation.

A nice house and a great beach

We had four generations with 12 adults and five young children, the house support our visit very well. The owner was very responsive and great to deal with. It’s a short walk to the beach. No beach crowds. Although next to Highway 1, the only room with traffic noise was the sunroom in the back of the house, all windows. We really enjoyed our stay and would rent it again.

A little worn

The house was in a great community and the proximity to the beach was great. The house itself is a bit well worn. The one bathroom with a tub had sand in it when we checked in and the drain wasn’t working very well. The downstairs suite was nice but had a number of extra little insects sharing the space and definitely had a dampness to it. The outdoor shower also could use some TLC and bug spraying. The kitchen cookware could use some updating, especially the pots and pans. The kitchen did have a nice coffee maker and the appliances overall were in good shape. Ultimately, it was a decent property for our family to start our annual beach vacations at Bethany, but we’d probably look for something a little more updated going forward.

Our Family Beach Week 2023

Over all our stay was wonderful. The community was among if not the most satisfying ever. The home it self was very accommodating. There was a few hiccups ,1. The front door entry lock wasn't functioning properly. 2. Multiple electrical outlets were scary loose. 3. Multiple TV's weren't performing up to par or at all.

Bethany Beach Getaway

The house had plenty of room for my family of 4, actually we didn’t use the downstairs apt or guest bedroom at all (there was a strong musty smell to it though we did notice). I would say the house overall was adequate, but could use a little TLC. It was clean and provided all the basics and worked great for our first time in Bethany, though. We didn’t use the outdoor space at all because it felt a little too much like a campground. Maybe if there were a group of people it would’ve worked better, but just not for us. The living space was nice and spacious and we did love the newly renovated screened in porch and used it quite a bit. My only complaint was that it was so loud to sit outside. There really wasn’t a quiet place to relax. Again, maybe if we were a bigger group you wouldn’t notice it as much. The proximity to the beach was perfect (a short 5 minute walk) though and the neighborhood was beautiful! We loved using the big wagon and all the chairs and umbrellas provided. It was easy to get to the beach. I wish we could’ve walked or biked to the boardwalk (a little too far to walk and the highway was too dangerous imo for kids to bike on) but the short drive was easy enough and proximity to Rehobeth all the way to OC, MD was great. We had just one issue with the door lock and Lance was extremely responsive and solved our problem immediately. We had a great first trip to Bethany Beach!

Quality Family Time

The house was clean with updated decor which made it comfortable and relaxing. The area rugs, especially in the hallway looked nice but were a bit of a tripping hazard as the ends and sides did not lay flat. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. We did not expect the traffic noise to be so loud and it kept several of us from sleeping soundly. There were plenty of games and books available which we enjoyed. We could not find an iron even though the house was listed as having one (we did find the ironing board, though). The shower in the master bathroom is super tiny and uncomfortable to use but the hot water was accommodating to everyone so no one had to have a cold shower. Our main issue during the week was that we were not informed that the community (all of Bethany?) had recently passed an ordinance that only traditional beach umbrellas were permitted on the beach; no tents, canopies, etc.. We are a large family, some with fair skin, so we always bring our 6’X6’ canopy to the beach. Otherwise, we would need 3-4 umbrellas. Our first day on the beach, with our canopy, a homeowner came by to tell us that “tents” were not allowed anymore. We determined among ourselves that what we had was not a “tent,” however, before we could set up on day 2, the life guard came over to show us a picture of an umbrella and told us only what looked like the picture was allowed. We went back to the house to find the umbrellas that the listing said were available but only 1 of the 3 we found was adequate. One was broken and one was so flimsy we were afraid to use it. With this new ordinance, the homeowner should make sure the renters know beforehand what is allowed/prohibited AND provide a couple good-quality beach umbrellas. The homeowner was easy to work with and prompt in answering all our questions. If the issues above are addressed, we would consider renting here again.

Great place to spend family vacation

We had a wonderful weekend at the beach house. It was suited for everyone ranging from 15 mos- 82 yrs. I stayed in the downstairs suite, and enjoyed the few moments to steal some quiet time. The house was clean, and the hospitality was top notch. We will rent again!

Perfect!

We loved this beach house- just a quick walk up the ramp to the private and minimally populated beach! This home provided numerous indoor and outdoor small and large spaces to gather or separate. The screened porch with comfy furniture was always in use The numerous umbrellas, chairs and coolers, plus the exceptional gorilla pull wagon to tote it all, made for easy beach runs. Leaving your gear for a few hours break back to the house was no issue in this private gated community. A great place with a responsive host!

Wonderful beach and location

We loved the quiet, clean beaches as well as quiet, small development. Our 2 young grandchildren were with us and it was very easy to get to the beach. The house is very comfortable and nicely decorated with lots of covered and open porch space that we enjoyed. There were a few minor maintenance issues; the owner was very responsive to our calls and had service arranged quickly.

Family fun celebrating birthdays - ages 75 and just one-year-old

Three generations thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay at Lance's Bethany Beach property. It was, as described, an easy walk to the beach, and in a well-appointed small community (with excellent landscaping). While it was not quite as large as I'd imagined, the photos were all accurate as was the description. And it accommodated all of us very comfortably. [The downstairs "suite" was perfect for our son and his family, but there is no inside access to that lower level] As earlier reviews have noted, it backs up to Route 1, the Coastal Hwy, so we expected traffic noise, but we quickly adapted to it as if it were *white noise* - The newly screened in side porch (away from hwy-side) was our favorite place to hang out - together or, occasionally, individually. We made many trips to Hocker's (grocery & more), 1.7 miles inland, 7 minute drive. Funland (in Rehoboth) is still the same - 60 years after opening, and just the same as our son remembered from his last visit there 25 years ago. Great to introduce a new generation to the low-key FUN there on a rainy morning. Lance was very responsive when at first I was unable to connect to wifi (it was my problem - browser on laptop) Otherwise, we had no reason to contact him.

Wonderful stay at Bethany!

Our family had a great stay at Bethany. The private beach had lots of space and other families that were a joy to meet. The house was clean and as advertised. A little noisy outside in the evening due to proximity to the road, but not unbearable. Overall we had a memorable vacation and would return in a heartbeat. The owner was responsive and provided detailed instruction and recommended good spots for dining and shopping etc.
