There are two electronic skylights in the ceiling, one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen / bathroom. You have lots of air with both skylights open and always plenty of natural light.
Guest are welcomed outside the building and I will bring you to the room to help you get oriented and provide the keys.
Near local stores with grocery stores, bakeries (boulangerie), cosy cheese, wine, and butchery stores.
Was amazing, clean and in an excellent position! The guest is very kind and super helpful! When I'll come again in Paris I'll be booking again here for sure.
Very good communication and help with our luggage. Very clean and neat apartment. Excellent location, close to Metro. We were, however, surprised by the long spiral staircase up to the 5th floor. A challenge after a long day of walking in Paris. Good exercise though for losing weight!
We had a nice stay! Nicolai was very responsive and nice. He was really flexible about check in and check out times which was incredibly helpful. He also let us store our bags after checkout for a few hours which was amazing. The studio fit our needs for our visit: central location, clean and a good price. We were expecting to be uncomfortable due to the hot weather the days we visited but with the fan and skylight windows the room was comfortable. We recommend adding some artwork decor to enhance the space and updating the towels (clean and smelled nice but visibly bleach stained). We enjoyed our stay a lot and are grateful to have had such a reasonable price for such a central location in Paris! We felt very safe walking late at night in this neighborhood.
This place was perfect for what I needed! Note that the studio is approx 110 steps up and down, so not suitable for those with limited mobility.
However, the host Nicolai was the kindest, meeting me the day of arrival AND departure to take all my luggage up and down. He was so considerate, also checking in to make sure I was okay, and very thorough with the instructions. Location was great too - steps away from the bus and metro lines, and the area around felt safe to be out late, and generally easy to navigate back to. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the area, as the streets come out of a roundabout, but with the Maps app or similar, you'll be fine. Thank you so much !
This was my very first time in Paris and I am so happy that I chose this studio. It was the perfect location to transit to tourist sites, the neighborhood is beautiful, very grandeur, and the owner was so generous and accommodating. He really went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. 10/10!
My friend and I had a great stay for our night in Paris! The host was so accommodating and responsive, he also helped with luggage and gave recommendations, etc. The space was clean and compact but big enough for the two of us. It was an overall great experience!
Our host was amazing and not only helped us into the place but provided recommendations and directions to many great places! The property was perfect for our little getaway! It is close to a lot of the major attractions, along with being right next to a metro station.
The Host is very helpful and friendly. He showed us the Appartement and gave us tips for Paris. The Appartement is clean and very Central. Metro Station is a few steps away. Arc de Triumph and Eifel Tower are reachable on feet within a few minutes. We felt comfortable and would book here again.
The apartment came with everything we needed. Nicolai was extremely helpful. There are many stairs to climb but the apartment was so comfortable this was quickly overlooked. Nicolai was the kindest host we have experienced. When in Paris, we would return to this location! Thank you for making our Olympic adventure special Nicolai! 5 stars across the board.
The studio itself is pretty fine. I was staying there a week and I was working remotly from there. The internet connection was excellent. However there are only 2 roof windows, in very very high celing, so during the day I hardly see an outside world. As for 1 person, I had planty of room in the studio. There is a litte kitchen, with a kattle, little frige and an induction hob. I know it works, becasue the owner showed me, but for some reson I was not able to turn it on. Or the quality is low or my finger are not compatibile with this particular induction.... Hard to say.The studio is on 5th floor with no lift, so expect a lot of climbing ;)The owner is very reactive, easly to comunicate with.I did not like the check in/check out procedure. The owner personally gives and takes back the keys. I arrived at 1am and he waited for me, but I was not feeling comfortoble to make him stay awake till such late time. For check out as well he wanted to come to studio to collect the keys. As independent woman, I simply prefer self check in/out procedures ;)Overall the stay was good, the location in Pl. Victor Hugo is excellent, many shops, cafes, boulangerie around. 15 min by foot to Eiffel Tower, metro station few steps from the studio. Beside the check in/out procedure, no lift and no proper windows, I would stay there once again.
Our host Nicolai was very helpful, right form booking to coming to meet us on arrival. The room is a cleverly converted chambre do bonne (maid's room). This means a climb up 5 flights of steep stairs. Fine with us but could present challenges for older/less able folk . Nicolai helped us with luggage up and down. AS you would expect in a Paris building, the stairs and corridor to the room are not maintained, paint is peeling, carpets worn. But the lightst work and there is a bannister. The room itself is small but has a sofa, a comfortable double bed (two separate mattresses) which is very comfortable. For this looking to self-cater the kitchen is cleverly done and has a fridge and hob. The bathroom has plenty of hot water and a compactor attached to the loo as the plumbing is fragile. No TP down the toilet so sanitary arrangements are in place. Good shower. The main challenge for us was that the room has no windows - it has two deep-set skylights high above the ceiling. This means that there is natural light during the day but no view or proper cross-draught. The windows close automatically when it rains but need re-opening manually to allow air in. As were there dur9ng a heat wave followed by thunder storms, this situation presented some challenges. Nicolai provides a fan but when it is really hot, this just pushes the hot air around. I doubt there is a practical solution to this, but visitors should check the weather forecast before confirming!
The fully renovated, small flat was perfectly comfortable. The hike up the 5 flights of stairs was made much easier by the host helping with luggage. Bed is comfortable. Location is very convenient.
