Summary:

This two-person condominium, a top floor corner unit, has a balcony overlooking the rushing Deschutes River and is just a 10-minute walk from downtown Bend. The units features a king bed, full kitchen, fireplace and two bathrooms. This unit is pet friendly! You can bring up to two furry friends for an additional fee. Maximum of two pets are allowed. Be sure to bring your swimsuits because the community features a heated indoor pool and a hot tub!

You are on the edge of downtown Bend, so once you get here you don't necessarily need to use your car. Everything you need is in walking distance.

Close to downtown for walking to restaurants, liked being so close to the Deschutes River trail for dog, two bathrooms and king size bed were a plus! Would stay here again.

Great spot in a great location!

I love the Bend Riverside Condos. This wasn’t my first time there but it was my first time in this room and it is my favourite so far. Really great space, nice views, perfect location. Great for a little ski getaway!

Bend getaway

We booked this beautiful condo for a long weekend getaway. If you're looking for a beautiful spot with a gorgeous river view, this is the place. The hosts were very responsive and attentive. Would stay here again and recommend!

River Front Retreat

Very clean and well appointed unit for our weeks stay. Plenty of utensils for cooking in the unit. Comfortable furnishings. Local had a great walking trail along the river front. Location was close to town and intersting shopping and dining. Management was very helpful and pleasant. Only drawback was poor internet. Would recommend this unit and stay agaim.

Best kept secret

Great condo, convenient to everything, especially my daughter's house where I met my new grand daughter! The kitchen was well stocked, bathroom had plenty of towels, the bed was extremely comfortable, the condo was spacious and warm, and the complex quiet despite the fact that the buildings are older. Watching the river flow by and easy access to the river trial was just another plus!! Shhhh...don't give the secret away!! Will definitely stay here again!!

Janie, Although the building itself may be old, we. try our best to have the unit feeling updated, clean and cozy on the inside. A lot of our guests seem to be blown away by how awesome their stay turns out as if that isn't what should be expected? Great Spot

This was a great 1 bedroom condo. Very clean and the bed was comfortable! Lots of kitchen supplies. Overall I would stay here again if it had a elevator! Lol We stayed on 3rd floor and the view was great..but being over 70 yr old carting up our stuff to the third floor was a bit too much. But they do have other options!

Perfect for one downtown

This was an excellent spot for the price. Beautiful view of the river. Basic amenities. Easy access, check in and check out with a code. I walked the river trail in both directions and easy 12 minute walk to downtown restaurants, coffee bars, and breweries. My only knock was that there was little to no hot water in the shower. Made it tough when it’s only 40 outside. Otherwise I had an amazing time.

Hi Bryant, we are a bit confused by your review as there is an on site laundry room in the building you stayed in. As for the tv, we are sorry to hear someone may have took off with the tv tips! We are fully staffed in the office 7 days a week from 10:00am-7:00pm and would have happily run you over another form. This is exactly what we are here for!

2 nights at Edward Riverhands was fair/good

Edward Riverhands was a fair/good place for me and my husband and daughter to stay. Pros: beautiful view, well stocked kitchen, electric fireplace, good TV and 2 full bathrooms and dogs allowed. Cons: tidy but dirty floors. We had black feet from walking barefoot on the floors. Lumpy bed mattress-it’s seen better days, pull -out couch was shoot, springs were wasted so our daughter had a miserable night of sleep.

The pictures listed dont accurately reflect the property. The complex its self was rundown. Terrible lighting and mildew smell in the apartment. And cleaning job wasnt the best. I would do your research on this property before booking.

Meredith, we do not advertise as a new construction as we actually enjoy talking about the history of the place as it is the reason we are able to share it with others all around the world! The building itself was built back in the 70's and used to a be a popular hotel. Since the years have passed, it has had many remodels and even turned into privately owned condos where the owners are able to rent them out to others based on a nightly rate. Here at Bend Riverside Rentals we manage about 40 of those privately owned units and we take great pride in doing so. With them all being individually owned, this means each unit will look quite different from one another so when you go to make a reservation be sure to look at them all as another may suite your style better! As for the comment regarding cleanliness we now have this unit scheduled for a deep clean as soon as tomorrow in order to bring this unit back to our standards. Thank you again for the feedback!

Nice view

We had a couple issues during our stay, but they were taken care of quickly. The air conditioner in our unit was broken but they had two portable ones in the unit that kept it at a comfortable temp. We were attending a wedding while in Bend and needed an iron but there wasn't one in the unit. There was an ironing board but no iron. Called the property manager and one was brought to us. Nice location with a river view and access to a walking trail.

Needs a little update

Older property that definitely needs more lighting in living room and dining area. Had to take shade off lamp to have more light. Air conditioning units sitting on floors with towels stuffed in windows. Did not like neighborhood....was on 3rd floor with 30 steps pulling luggage up and down. Cheap TV plus Pluto was not user friendly. Saw too many unsavory characters around. Not up to our VRBO standards for sure.

We apologize that the regular A/C was not working during your stay. We will let the owners know of your suggestion to add more lighting to the kitchen and living area! It was so hot in the room

Unfortunately we did not have a good stay. We have stayed at other units in this complex and have never had issues. When we arrived we found out that the central air was not working. They left a window ac unit and a fan. We were not notified in advance and it was 85 degrees in the room. In order to use the window unit we had to leave the window open which caused hot air to blow in the room. We also had no privacy and had to leave the window open. The room was dirty. There were used towels with makeup on them. We had no linens for the pullout couch. It was a pretty awful experience. I spent the many of my vacation hours trying to resolve these issues. I ended up getting part of my stay reimbursed but i still don’t feel like I got what I paid for. VRBO says I should have taken pictures. I notified the property manager immediately with my issues. I had to deal with multiple people coming into the room to try to fix the problem. Nobody was able to fix the air conditioning. I spent countless hours on the phone with the property manger and VRBO but I apparently did not do enough because I did not take pictures. I will not use VRBO again

Tasha, While we don't agree with everything in this review we do want to acknowledge the inconvenience of the main air conditioning unit failing prior to your stay. Our staff made every attempt to fix the air conditioner, and to otherwise make your stay as comfortable as possible. We hope you'll come stay with us again.
