Unlike other hosts who try to automate their Airbnb spaces, we offer a very personal experience. If you need something to improve your stay, or if there is anything we can do to make you more comfortable, please ask. In the past, weâve had guests ask for an extra comforter, towels, or kitchen tools, in each instance we have been able to accommodate their requests!

There is ample, free street parking right in front of our home for you! The driveway is NOT where you park, as it is dedicated to our home, which is the TOP floor.
Alberta Abode is located on the first floor of our home, and has its own private entrance, wholly dedicated to your stay.
When you arrive at our home you will see a stairwell that leads to our main home. Look to your LEFT and you will see an Arrow that says âAlberta Abodeâ and a paved walkway that leads to your private door!
The Neighborhood:
It's hard to describe the Alberta Arts District and the surrounding neighborhoods in just a small typed box.
The hype is real, you just need to go explore it and find out for yourself all what everyone's talking about! So many amazing restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, craft breweries and other things to do that you'll never be bored.
Just step outside this little haven and have tons of fun for as long as you stay!
Getting Around:
It's literally 200ft from one of the best streets in Portland! If you happened to desire to stray away from Alberta St. for some Portland adventures you can just hop on any of the main line busses that stop on the street about 3 blocks from the house.
Other Things to Note:
â No keys to lose or to return- woohoo! You can enter with your personal smart lock code that will be sent to you in a message after you book!
â Walking Score: 96! You wonât need a car to get around!
â Bike Score: 100! This is truly a biker's paradise!
â Transit Score: 48 - Several nearby public transportation options.
â We created a list of our favorite places to eat, drink and hang out for you! It is laminated and placed by the entrance. You can also receive a digital copy of our âAlberta Favorites Guideâ in your AirBnB inbox.
Our Policies:
NO SMOKING INSIDE: Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning.
NO PETS ON FURNITURE: We know you love your animals, but we kindly ask that you keep them off of our furniture as it can leave a smell, stains and hair that is hard to remove.
GO EASY ON OUR NEIGHBORS: When using the private patio deck, please be considerate of our neighbors. They're really nice and we'd like to keep them! Quiet hours are 10:00pm to 8:00am
KEEP OUTSIDE SMOKING TO A MINIMUM: We have neighbors and want to always be mindful of keeping smoking to a minimum to prevent unpleasant odors from going into their property. We ask that if possible, you do not smoke outside, or keep it to a minimum- avoiding chain smoking.
NO PARTIES/EVENTS: We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.

2. Our home is well maintained and treated periodically for pests and insects. However, we cannot control the occasional bug creeping in to say hello or found dead (this a good sign as we have a pest control service). If you happen to see a bug just let us know, we can schedule our pest control for a visit. While we don't foresee this being an issue during your stay, we do back up to a lot of green space and wanted to mention it.
3. â Oregon law requires we use a standard lease agreement for all stays that are 45 nights or longer. The standard lease agreement includes the following contract terms: a description of the premises, the lease term, early termination, multiple tenants, rent, failure to pay rent, parking, landlord details, truthfulness of representations, uses, pets, smoking, utilities and services, landlord maintenance, fixtures and appliances, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, move-in inspection, tenant obligations, holdover tenant, landlord consent, costs of enforcement waiver of exemptions severability and statutory requirements, access to premises, transfer of tenant, landlord's inability to deliver possession to tenant, bankruptcy, condemnation, death of a tenant or landlord, fire or casualty damage, tenant's right to purchase, move-out inspection, subordination, notice, lead-based paint, miscellaneous, counterparts, notice regarding diplomats, waiver of right to trial by jury, discrimination, statutory notice to tenant, and other.
