Carpet is filthy and stinks. Area rug in living room is filthy and turned up corner is a constant trip hazard. QR code never works at entrance gate and getting in is a pain. A list of cars and drivers should be requested pre check in to notify security to make entrance easier. Would not stay at this property again.

This is an excellent location with so much to do on a family vacation. The home was welcoming and very clean. The house provided the space we needed to feel comfortable and homely. The host was gracious and responsive to our needs.

Lovely place

We found this place last minute to evacuate fro. Hurricane Milton. This place far beyond exceeded our expectations. It was safe, clean, and quiet. The amenities we're chefs kiss with our own private pool.

A nice family home and well located for visiting Orlando’s attractions

Check in was very straightforward and the house was clean and welcoming. I had thought that the property had 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms when I booked it so was a l little surprised that it has 3 double and 1 twin - made it a little challenging with 4 adults and 4 children but we managed.

It was a great location...needs a few more kitchen items: bigger fry pan, potholders, dishcloth, glass cleaner for table... we had an issue when we got there & the management solved it pronto...I would stay there again...loved it.

Property was great. Clubhouse is nice for kids. Pool at the property is small but standard for all the townhouses there. Was perfect for my two girls 8 and 6 to jump and swim around but smaller than expected. Host was fairly quick to respond and very understanding about an early checkout due to hurricane. Great experience overall.

Would definitely recommend!

This property was clean and spacious. Looks exactly like the pictures. It’s a great location. Barely any traffic to the Disney parks. All parks are within 10 miles. It was much more relaxing than staying on Disney property. We loved having our private pool in the back. It was decorated very nice. The Hideaway club was within short walking distance. It was fun with the lazy river, water slides, ice cream shop, splash pad and bar. The food was tasty too! We didn’t want to leave! We are already talking about taking our next trip. Thanks for a wonderful week. We made great memories here.

Worn out house!

Don’t get me wrong we had a great time, but the house was very worn out. The furniture has what looks like animal tears. The couch is old and no longer comfortable. Upstairs in the bedrooms the floors had soft spots. The mattresses are extra firm, I felt happy to get home into my own bed. On our last day it was a bit frustrating at high heat the ac stopped functioning and the host just said thanks for the update. Location is great tho. Clubhouse is ok. Overall we had a nice relaxing family getaway!

Perfect home away from home

This townhouse is a perfect home away from home for our Disney trip. We shared it with another family of 4, and truly felt it could not have been a better experience. The house is modern, clean, spacious & in close proximity to the theme parks. The bonus was the pool for the girls to enjoy. It is small but it's all you need for relaxing during down time. Also important to note is that the management company is informative & flexible. They sent check in and check out reminder emails, and allowed us to drop off the perishable items at the house before our scheduled check in time, as we were heading to the theme park for the day. We will definitely be renting from them again in the future!

Loved our stay!

The property was exactly like the photos on the website. The home is beautiful. The only downside for us was the cleanliness. While most was very clean it had some areas that were not. The baseboards and woodwork had food, dirt and had not been cleaned. The upstairs had been vacuumed but not the main level. I ended up cleaning what I had time to and it seemed to come off with soap and water. Nothing too bad that would keep us from staying here again. Cleaning crew just needs to be a little more aware. It was a wonderful area close to shopping, grocery stores and food. We had a few questions during our stay and property management was AlWAYS quick to reply. Very enjoyable vacation. We loved having a pool to ourselves.

Where to start

Present with me on this trip was a child, a senior, and a parent - each inconvenienced/impacted by these issues, as well as the rest of us. 1. The light in the toilet room in the upstairs master did not work; The bathroom rug was DIRTY. 2. The blind in the twin bedroom would not open or close. When my mother tried to raise it for the guests in that room, it fell on her wrist and scratched her. 3. The pool was not clean, and i reported this immediately. The pool wasn’t in swimming condition as it was dirty and murky in color. We rented this unit with the expectation that we could swim and enjoy a private pool, but we did not. 4. The living room carpet is DISTURBINGLY DISGUSTING! It’s not even the carpet shown online. 5. The towel rack in the upstairs bathroom did not stay in tact and kept falling.7. There was not enough washcloths available to accommodate the number of people the listing says this house sleeps. 8.The dryer kept cutting off and would not fully work. We had to return home with damp clothing. Stained bedding9. The disposal just stopped working, and Upon arrival, we found multiple dead I’m alive roaches throughout the downstairs area and bedroom. Loved it!

We loved this house as well as the community. A concern we had was getting into the house at 1 am as we had a late flight. It was so easy. The guard at the gate was extremely helpful, even giving us a menu for a pizza place that delivered until 2am and we were able to get into the house with zero problems. There was never an issue with parking, even if we would have had more than one vehicle. The house was just as described. Everything was in working order and clean. We had the pleasant surprise of a trundle bed in the Mickey room so the 3 girls (siblings and cousin) could stay together but also had the option of the separate bedroom if needed as well. The community was also as described. We loved how close to Disney and Universal we were as well as shopping. We opted for a house over Disney Resort and we will not go back! It was so easy to get to and from the parks and were able to cook breakfast and Dinner before and after. The kids loved the pool and would have used it more had it not rained. They opted to go to the clubhouse for the lazy river, pool and hot tub(the pools and lazy river were heated). It did rain 4 out of 5 days so the water slides were not open. But they were still able to play a round of putt putt. They were even able to see an Alligator on our first day. We will definitely try to book this house again when we return to Florida.

Needs updating

We overall had a very nice stay. The condo was generally pretty clean (though baseboards could use some work) and the location was amazing! The community was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the lazy river, golf, water slides and community pool. We enjoyed the pool at the unit - had it heated which was great for the early mornings and evenings. All of that being said, I do not feel that this particular unit is accurately described. The photos show 8 dining chairs - there are only 6 and these were in terrible shape. They were torn and falling apart. When we reached out about these, we were told that it was a known issue. We had 8 people staying here so we couldn't easily all eat together. The kitchen was not very well stocked. Multiple drawers in the bedrooms were broken or don't work well. One thing I wish we'd known sooner was that there are NO pool/beach towels in this unit or at the clubhouse. You will need to bring your own. The "starter pack" of supplies is very nice. They supplied us with a high chair and pack 'n play which we appreciated. I would absolutely stay at Storey Lake again, but I would be cautious in renting this same unit unless they update/repair things that are in disrepair. I have never left a bad review before but feel that transparency on this unit could have been better.

Family Disney Vacation

First time we’ve rented through VRBO and will use them again. The unit we rented was just as shown on the website. It was close to all parks, within 15 minutes. The resort pool was amazing. The only thing I would like to suggest is that you consider installing larger trash can in kitchen and bathrooms. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your unit. 😊

Great place to stay

Beautiful townhouse with plenty of room to spread out and unpack. Pool is small but kids enjoyed it. Main pool was nice, especially the lazy river for kids & adults! One of the water slides was closed and be warned the pool closes for safety reasons if there are storms in the area. BYO beach towels. Parks close by but traffic can be a nightmare, easily turning a 15 minute drive into 30. Convenient to groceries and WaWa (they make a great sub/hoagie). Didn’t cook much but kitchen was more than adequate although we couldn’t find a bottle opener. Gym was also nice but bring water and a towel. Really couldn’t find anything to complain about, would stay again.

The place is very clean, we all felt at home, short walk to pool area.

Very well decorated, exactly like the pictures, had no reason to contact management, everything was clean, only needed to buy our food, no other toiletries, will be renting there again if available.
