Great stay right at the base of the mountain! The hot tub was amazing. Only complaint is the tv kept dropping the internet so we couldnât stream shows at night which was kind of a bummer.
We had an excellent stay with all of our needs met from a roomy condo to a short walk to Peru Lift. A large kitchen and living/dining area allowed for family from other condos to gather with us for dinner. Excellent customer service from the property manager!
I canât say enough about this property and our time there. We had five of us and we fit in comfortably the two bedrooms. The hot tub is wonderful! It was very clean and cozy, the unit had everything you could want to make meals and enjoy your stay. Communication with owner was easy, checkin was flawless and the price was very competitive. But the best part was how close and convenient the unit is to the lift - literally about 50 steps away. Was so nice and convenient. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!!
Canât beat the locationâand spaciousness of condo
We had a great week at our condo skiing Keystone. We were so close to the lift it made things easy and maximized our time skiing. The condo was spacious and had what we needed to make our week fantastic!
Access to the Mountain House and River Run areas is perfect for family. From ski school to hitting the slopes...you are just feet from both areas. It's even a short walk from the Emergency Clinic after you hurt your ACL/MCL.
Place was very nice and a very short walk to the Peru lift.
There was a water main break our first night so we didn't have water but Heather was great at communicating with us when I called and water was restored the next morning. The hot tub in the sun room was a big hit with our family.
Location is the key. Room could stand some updating as some of the furniture shows wear. Very clean. Plenty of sleeping options and bedding. Some "extras" in the kitchen were great and saved us with a few things we missed for cooking. Only struggle was the actual address for transportation. Confusing which address to use. Overall great experience and would stay here again!!
We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again. ProsThe unit location cannot be beat if you plan to ski...it is as close as you can get to the lifts at Keystone. We prefer MH to RR since the lift lines are less crowded. We've stayed in this complex before and being on the 1st floor is so much easier than having to climb steps with luggage, groceries and especially in ski boots. That alone makes this unit amazing. We also LOVE a wood burning stove. Housekeeping is very responsive for extra wood. The layout of the living room is perfect for a family of 3, with two couches and two chairs. Albeit the furniture is dated and somewhat worn, but didn't bother us. Could probably benefit from a few more throw pillows, but layout worked really well for movie watching.Master shower gets 5 stars...excellent water pressure, water temp, cleanliness, etc. It's the only space in the house that has been renovated in past 20 years. Parking is easy once you figure out how to find the gate (Waze is not accurate - follow the directions from the owner).Compared to other managers, Seymour Lodging was much more responsive and on top of things. We were there for 10 days and someone came to maintain the hottub twice. Cons?Unit is a bit dark and no view as in 1st floor. Could use better lighting in the bedrooms. No dresser in master. It's ridiculous that Keystone Resort only allows one car per unit - the lot was empty whole time. Owner has no control over this, sadly
We stayed here over MLK weekend and it was great. Super close to the slopes and a private hot tub was perfect. We had little ones in ski school and so being right across from check-in made it super easy. The property was perfect and my wife is already planning the next trip.
A massive snow storm hit the night/morning we were planning on leaving and even though the property was booked and we needed to leave Richard worked with us to find new lodging so we didnt have to drive in the storm. I probably ended up calling him four or five times and he answered immediately every time. I cant say enough good things about the host.
5 stars. Would recommend.
You canât really beat the location being steps away from the Peru Express Lift. The condo itself was spacious and accommodated our family of 4 nicely. We mixed it in and ate in town and in Frisco a few nights while cooking a few nights in the condo.
The location allowed all of us to be on our ski and lunch schedules. The hot tub was an added bonus!
The only downsides:
- (for kids) was that the wifi wasnât fast enough for Fortnite gaming (was a plus for me).
- parking lot only has 1 way in our out which made it a little more inconvenient to accessing River Run village. Youâd have to drive around the west side and around to go there. Taking the shuttles weâre pretty efficient though.
When we arrived we had a couple of very minor issues which management remedied immediately.
Weâre in the midst of scheduling our trip again next year.
Covid splurge for a family of 4 (2 teens) ski trip. Fantastic to have our own hot tub. Condo was spotlessly clean, with extra supplies. Perfect location for slope access so kids could sleep in and Mom & Dad could hit the lifts early. We easily could have skiied in for lunch, but prefer to do granola bars & snacks outside at the top. Only complaint is that the bottom bunk (full-size) of the bunk-beds is a futon mattress and a thin/old one at that. It worked out as we found a folding floor mattress in the master closet and plenty of blankets to layer on top - but a replacement is needed. Other than that TV is newer than photos (big relief for the kids), plenty of space, great kitchen, nice building, we never had an issue with finding a parking space (though they are surface lot), and communication with management was straightforward and easy. Thanks!
This was a good place, especially if you like to be away from the bustle of River Run in the summer. But the elephant in the room is the gate system which is closed going towards River run, forcing all traffic to go toward Dillon, even if you want to go to River Run, Loveland Pass etc. Ug, it made each day frustrating doing that loop. And was especially frustrating at check in despite them trying to help me. And there was no reason for it, except seemingly to prevent through traffic. So my lasting memory is of a stupid gate. This has nothing to do with the owner or rental obviously, just is a shame for the owners trying to rent these places to be let down by the management teams. FYI there is nothing at Mountain House, you will be isolated, all the food etc is at River run, or towards Dillon. Best parts about this unit are the beds, which are without a doubt the best beds I have ever slept on in a rental (and I'm not sure they are anything truly expensive, but whatever they are was amazing) and the master bathroom shower, which was awesome. Now, the gate system will of course be fixed when you rent this place, so go ahead! It's central to everything. Definitely worth it!
Awesome location, ground floor condo, ski/pole storage, and few steps to Peru Lift. Communication to the owner prior to our visit was timely. The check-in was extremely simple and the response by the property management when we needed more firewood was prompt. I donât know why I havenât stayed here before? And itâs a simple walk to the Groat.
The property was perfect for ski trip. The place was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in front of ski lift. We had a great time and jacuzzi came in handy after all day skiing. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Thank you.
