Watch the sunset from an Adirondack chair, roast marshmallows at the fire pit or dip your toes in the lake at this newly renovated waterfront cottage. Brand new furnishings, built in appliances, climate control & wifi make this cottage the perfect northern getaway with the comforts of home. Located mere minutes from Port Carling and just a short drive from Bracebridge, Huntsville and Arrowhead Provincial Park, there is no shortage of sights to see, places to eat & towns to shop nearby.

**Please Note: Due to the shallow nature of Three Mile Lake, we cannot guarantee lake water quality for swimming past August 1st.

What a great place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful water!!

Our trip was fantastic, the host made sure the check in process was seamless and responded to our messages instantly. The water is absolutely gorgeous and the property is exactly as pictured. We’ll definitely consider for future trips!

A great week

We just spent a relaxing week at Sandwood Cottage on 3 mile lake. The cottage was lovely- newly renovated and well equipped for a relaxing stay. That was our goal. The area was picturesque and located very close to Port Carling, Huntsville and Bracebridge. We will definitely be back -especially since we found Taylor Farm Market for my daily Americano!!

We had a great stay at this place for a week. The property was exactly as described in the listing — clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Everything was well-maintained, and the neighborhood was peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway.One small note for future guests: if you need a hair dryer, be sure to bring your own.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

Enjoyed

Lovely property and location. The absence of any closet space for our clothing was somwhat troublesome as we had to live out of suitcases for the duration of our stay. Otherwise we were most pleased.

Charming Lakeside Retreat

We had an amazing 3-night stay at this cottage near Three-Mile Lake. The place was clean, well-stocked, and had beautiful views of the water. Perfect for peaceful mornings and relaxing evenings by the lake. The host was kind and helpful throughout. We’d love to come back!

Great Experience

The host was very good in communicating, she even came before us to make sure the heat was on and working since the weather outside was -20 C. The place was very clean and very accurate with photos! Im sure its an even better place in summer.

Lovely cottage stay

Peaceful cottage with a fantastic view of the lake, property was very clean and well furnished. Holly was kind enough to extend checkout time so we could enjoy a few more hours too, our group very much enjoyed the stay and hope to be back!

Cozy quiet retreat

Our stay was nice and relaxing. The cottage itself is very cozy , clean and very comfortable. A great location and view of the lake. The exterior deck and dock require some work to make bring it to the same standard as the cottage itself. Overall a great stay.

Great little stay for our family. The water was nice and our stay was enjoyable. The host was easy to communicate with. The cottage had all the amenities needed for a good stay. The owners have done a nice job renovating and updating the inside. Overall, a really nice week.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay and found the cottage very clean, convenient, and comfortable. We have a 13 year old dog that struggles with stairs, so the layout of the cottage and the water access was ideal.

We had a very nice time at the cottage. It was exactly as shown in the photos online. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep and the beds were very comfortable. There was an up to date big screen tv and internet access was good. We would rent this cottage again.

4 days in the Fall

Great location on Three Mike Lake. Newly renovated, very clean 3 bedroom cottage. Great location close to Port Carling and Bracebridge. Would definitely return. The only improvement that could be made is more clothes hooks as there is not a lot of closet space, as the bedrooms are typically small for this type of cottage. Thank you Holly for being a great host and responding quickly whenever I reached out to you.
