Mid-week getaway at The Manor

A lovely property in quaint Windermere Village. Marcus was an excellent host who provided lots of helpful details about the manor and surroundings. We loved the hiking recommendations and spent many happy hours playing pool.

Long weekend in Muskokas

The property was just as described, with all the amenities we needed. The place was clean and nicely decorated. The front porch was a lovely place for afternoon drinks, with a view of deer on the golf course. The spa was a fun added benefit!

Birthday Retreat

We saw this listing on our social feed and needed to see it! Lovely manor that makes you feel at home with pool table and sauna. There was a lot of snow and wished that the fire pit had been shovelled but sent our husbands out to do it! Lots of items in the kitchen-never a shortage of glasses and dishes. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were comfy Close to the Windermere Inn so we could walk for a bite to eat at the pub. Internet was sometimes spotty when trying to watch a movie. Overall an excellent experience.

Marcus the owner was very thorough on check in and check out information. He also sent information about the area and places to visit which was very helpful. The house itself is quite old, but we really enjoyed the backyard and the beach down the road. We saw many dear in the backyard which my kids loved.

Amazing Home for some Family Time

Beautiful stately home in lovely Windermere. This home had something for all our family. The games room was loved by the adults and the kids loved the outdoor spaces. Short little walk to a perfect shallow beach. The house was excellently maintained and decorated as shown in the photos. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. Best of times were had!!

Great Home in Windermere, Ontario

We had a wonderful family vacation in Windermere, Ontario at this four bedroom house. We enjoyed relaxing on the front veranda under the large, leafy tree! Because the Paris 2024 Olympics were in progress, we also enjoyed watching some of the events on the big screen television in the family room. Having a tradition, separate dining room was terrific for meals and entertaining friends during our stay.

Muskoka Manor was the perfect restful weeklong getaway spot for our family this summer. The house is a beautifully charming retreat, both inside and out, and offers an incredibly comfortable stay. Marcus' meticulous attention to every detail is evident throughout the property, from the tasteful decor to the well-appointed amenities. Everything we needed was close at hand, making our stay effortless and enjoyable. Marcus was very responsive and attentive whenever we had any questions or needs. The location is ideal, conveniently close to the beach where we spent many delightful hours. We also took full advantage of the neighbouring resort's excellent spa and restaurants, which added an extra touch of luxury to our vacation. Overall, Muskoka Manor provided us with a serene and memorable family getaway, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Just got back from this amazing home! Marcus was great to deal with and helpful with any questions! The home has a charm that is not seen with newer homes. The yard was large and sitting around the front porch in the morning and the fire pit at night book ended great days. Location is great from golfing to dining, lounging by the water or a cold beverage at the pub 2 minutes walk away! We are already planning our next trip to this exceptional place! Thanks Marcus, my wife and family had a great time! Cheers

A Gem

The place is beautiful, tasteful and equipped with everything you would need. We had an amazing time sitting by the fire pit enjoying looking at the stars, had wonderful meals as the kitchen is very well equipped. A nice stroll down to the beach, since the property is very close to it and a scope of ice cream. He place is very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The master bedroom shower was amazing and the games room a bonus. Certainly would recommend this place to friends and family. Look forward to going back, is Marcus and Jenn will have us!

A real gem!

We were looking for a place to escape during the Spring Break and, as it turns out, this was the perfect choice. A quiet retreat for the family! The games room was a real bonus, as was the proximity to some trails (don't miss Huckleberry Lookout—and don't turn back until you get to the actual rock!!!) Everything from beginning to end was exceptional. A beautiful home—well-appointed. I haven't slept this well in a long time. We would definitely put it on our "list of returns" if Marcus and Jen will have us back!

Beautiful property

Stayed with the extended family over the Christmas break. Excellent property. It was even decorated for the holidays! Lots of space, games, kitchen had everything we needed. Very clean. Owner checked in to make sure all was as expected. Would stay again!

From our first conversation with our host to our last, our experience was amazing! We have been visiting the Muskokas for years in the fall and have stayed at various resorts, hotels, B& B's. This was our first booking on the Vrbo platform and we were not dissapointed. Our host Marcus was very accommodating, provided thorough instructions, helpful hints and was readily available if needed. Our check in was seamless. Marcus connected with us us to make sure we were settled in and comfortable. He had remotely set the house temperature in anticipation of our arrival. The home was very clean, the property was beautiful and private and our stay was delightful. The beds were comfortable and all amenities were provided as specified. Kitchen was well equipped. Beautiful spacious yard with fire pit and outdoor furniture to enjoy. Loved our home away from home and would highly recommend Marcus and his home to anyone looking for a comfortable, spacious, clean and well appointed place to enjoy the beauty of the Muskokas.

Marcus is super communicative, respectful, and helpful. The property was spotless when we arrived. House rules and clean up requests are extremely reasonable and we were happy to oblige. We loved lounging on the couch, playing pool, and relaxing in the sauna. A less than 5 minute walk to the marina. I have nothing negative to say about Marcus's home! Some accessibility info: - all the bedrooms are on the top floor - the mattresses are on the softer side, the beds are tall, beds take up most of the space in the room (except the master bedroom) but there is still enough room to get to access the beds - there is no hood range above the electric glass top stove

'Home Away From Home' in Muskoka

Marcus, your home In Windermere was a beautiful spot for my family to stay. Your home was spacious, but with a cozy feeling, it was well equipped and well-appointed, and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms was great for our family of five! The location was perfect for us, and its location next to Windermere House was a bonus that gave us an opportunity to explore this historic resort without staying at it. Family getaway.

The property was everything it said in the description. We all felt very comfortable and the house gave us a ‘homey’ feeling. The house was clean and well supplied with everything you might need in case of an emergency. We enjoyed the daily visiting deer and fawn it is a very peaceful and relaxing place. The host Marcus was very attentive, we experienced a power outage twice due to weather conditions and in no time the generator was activated. All in all it was our first experience with an vacation rental property and we were very pleased.

We had a great week. Just a short walk to a small sandy beach. Wonderful for the little ones and the not so little ones. Everything was provided including the firewood. When we did have questions Marcus responded very quickly. Thank you Marcus!
