My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the beachfront cottage for 9 nights. It was clean and had plenty of space for my mother, my wife, and our 6 and 9 year olds. The location was perfect as it was easy to get to the beach and had great views of the ocean. Having all the linens and towels/beach towels provided was a plus as well! My kids loved collecting rocks/shells and swimming in the calm waters. Our host was quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this Villas beachfront cottage!

What a great family getaway! We’re so glad the cottage gave everyone plenty of room to relax and enjoy the beach, especially the kids. Having the ocean right there really makes the stay special. It was a pleasure hosting your family, and we’d love to welcome you back for another trip.

The house is beautiful and clean with everything we needed. Easy access to the bayside beach, out to the road and one house over. The water was nice, warm and clean. No seaweed or rocks. There are horseshoe crabs that wash up on the beach but the only reason I mention it is because I saw other people took exception to it and it’s really not an issue. The beach was perfect for my 2 year old grandson and the adults enjoyed a refreshing dip in the warm water. A local told me the dolphins swim by the house when high tide is duing the evening hours although we didn’t witness it personally. Next time we come to cape May we will definitely rent here is the owner will have us!

What a beautiful home. The place was clean, bright, and spacious. For a smaller house compared to the neighborhood, it lives very large and open. Our party of 7 felt comfortable with plenty of room to cook, lounge, eat, and relax. All of the bedrooms are pretty, beachy, and cozy. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and we, as people who love to cook, were impressed with the variety of kitchen tools, pots, pans, and glassware. The location can’t be beat. We had planned a beach day in Cape May on the ocean, but after spending just a few minutes on the bay where the house is situated, we decided our beach day would be right there! The sand was soft and the beach wasn’t crowded at all. We appreciated the beach chairs and sand toys in the garage. The communication with the host was top notch! Any questions were answered quickly and courteously. 5 stars all around, and I would happily book this home again.

Sounds like the house ended up being even better than expected, especially once you discovered how good the bay right outside really is. We’re glad your group had plenty of room to spread out, cook, relax, and enjoy the beach without having to go far. Love that the kitchen setup and beach gear came in handy too. We’d be more than happy to have you back for another Cape May stay.

Relaxing retreat

We enjoyed the spacious and comfortable space inside, including the living/dining room and sunroom. Plenty of space to play games and work on a puzzle. Outside, we enjoyed the proximity to the beach and played corn hole in the yard. Location worked great for us—close to restaurants and a short drive to Cape May.

Good location

House is in a great location. Short path down to the beach just 2 houses up. Beach there was fine for swimming in July but tons of jelly fish and horse shoe crabs. House is in a nice, private neighborhood that is not too crowded, plenty of parking. The backyard with deck and small beach is wonderful. House is as advertised.

Great Property

This is the second year we have stayed at this property. the 4 bedrooms work out great. The view is beautiful of the Delaware bay and the sand outside the house is perfect for my granddaughters who are 3, 5 to play in all day. Only detractor is the one bathroom that is extremely small, and the grout is stained and dirty looking. Otherwise we would still stay in this property again next year.

Hi Dolores, We’re so glad to hear that this is your second year enjoying the property and that the 4 bedrooms, beautiful view, and sand for your granddaughters worked out perfectly! We appreciate your feedback about the bathroom grout. While we guarantee it’s cleaned regularly, some staining can persist due to the materials and humid environment. Landscaping is routinely scheduled every week, so we ensure the property remains in good shape. We’re happy you’d stay with us again next year and look forward to welcoming you back!

Best trip ever!

I went with a group of 7 friends. The place was the perfect size with a beautiful view! It was even bigger than the pictures looked. Beds were comfortable, even the sofa-bed. The one critique would be we only had 3 kitchen trash bags for the 4 days we were there and no dishwasher pods. So may be wise to bring some for the trip. Everything else was perfect! Would definitely stay again!

Perfect house

The house was as advertised, but has 4 bedrooms. The back yard was all sand, so the small children were constantly busy in the sand building sand castles. The bay was a short walk below the house, and was very private. The water was a little calmer on the bay for the children and they loved it. Wanto to book this property again for next year. We were never bored and could have stated at the house, for our entertainment. Worth every penny! Can the owner let us know when she reposts the property for next year.

Spacious, amazing view, plenty of sleeping accommodations

This house was everything I could have hoped for! 4 bedrooms, 2 with queen and 2 with king, pull out sofas and rollaway cot. Beds are complete with linens! Towels and beach towels! Laundry room outside shower, My family (brothers nieces& mom) is super picky unfortunately but this house nailed it! Pictures are accurate close to the water, sunroom and deck as well as a huge living room for leisure time, full kitchen and fridge, super clean. Fantastic communication. (My son even forgot his blankie and they were able to get it from the housekeeper all I had to do was pay to ship)

Easter stay

This property has a beautiful view of Delaware bay and very easy access to beach. There is lots of room to spread out and the beds are very comfortable. This house is a mix of updated with nice furniture and paint and fixtures and old with both bathrooms needing to be renovated (too small shower in one and my husband is only 5’ 10”) and the kitchen cabinets needing to be replaced because the drawers are wobbly and either get stuck or almost fall out when you open them. Also tried to change my dates 2 months before arriving and even though my dates were open they weren’t willing to work with me. Again the view and location made up for a bit of the inflexibility.

Here at Plushy, we always make sure we tend to our guest's needs, Unfortunately, we were not made aware of the issues that you had with the kitchen cabinets. We will have this checked and looked into right away. As for your request in changing dates, as much as possible we try to be accommodating to our guest's requests but in your case, the dates have been blocked since January so that has put us in a tight spot wherein we will have a hard time securing a new booking. that is why we had to decline. Stayed for a few days

So we were looking for a place near a beach, and away from the crowds. In the summer, near impossible. But we found this place. The best part of this house is watching the sunset, and the ability to walk along the beach. My daughter is 10, and enjoyed just walking and trying to catch crabs. I would have liked to go fishing there, and there was fishing gear with the house but we didnt have enough time. The beach isnt ideal for swimming. Cape may where restaraunts and swimming beaches are is just 20 minutes away. As for the house, it wasnt in pristine condition. We had difficulty with the door, and the bathrooms were dated. House wasnt as clean as we would have liked. The location in relation to restaraunts isnt as good either. But the host was super communicative and aside from that, the house was workable. My only suggestion to host is get more comfy beds (but bed preference is subjective). Beds were super soft if you like that. If a friend asked for a suggestion, i would suggest this place, with disclosure. Reality is, the sunset made up for shortcomings.
