The property was beautiful and the view was amazing! There were a couple of issues when we first checked in (with the elevator and the freezer), but the property manager was very responsive and came out to fix the issues immediately. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!

Annual Labor Day Getaway

Naut-A-Bad-Gig is by far our favorite "Go To" for our annual Labor Day weekend get-away with our extended family. We have a family of 14 so finding a house that fits us comfortably, has ocean views and is within close walking distance for both the grandparents and grandkids is always a challenge. However, this house checks all of those boxes and we have stayed here for the last 3 years. The 2 decks and the pool provide wonderful outdoor living. We look forward to many more family vacations here in the future!

We had an absolute blast at NautABadGig! There was plenty of space for our family of 14 to sit at the dining table comfortably and the living room was also very roomy! The en suite baths were a great perk! Everyone raved that this was the best vacation ever! The house was immaculate! A big thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home! The house was great & we all agreed we’d rent it again. The house was perfect for our family of 15. We really liked the location to the beach, the view of the beach, and the kids especially loved the pool. We had a few minor equipment issues. We received quick responses when we contacted the host & they fixed the issues quickly. We were very impressed with that. We definitely recommend the house.

This house was absolutely stunning and had everything you think you would’ve needed for a beach vacation. The house was in a great location for restaurants and getting in and out of town. Having the beach just steps away was fantastic. We would book this house again in a heartbeat.

Great Week at the Beach!

Very nice home and would stay here again. Loved the decor, the updated appliances, the pool area, and the proximity to the beach. Our favorite part was enjoying the 3rd story balcony each night, looking out towards the ocean, hearing the waves rolling in. Would recommend this house to others and would return here ourselves.

Perfect beach home

House was in excellent condition with lots of room for a large family to spread out. We could have lived the whole week just on the upper deck- spacious, with great views and comfortable furniture. Highly recommend!

Super chill vacation vibes

Beautiful views and quiet street. Loved the large indoor/outdoor space on the third level where we would all hang out cooking, chatting, playing, and relaxing. Best stocked kitchen I’ve ever experienced. They even had an Indian slotted spoon our Indian friend loved cooking with!

Found The One

13 family members is not the easiest to find a place that accomodates all needs, but this one checked all the boxes. Fully stocked kitchen, comfy bedrooms, great pool area, outdoor shower, easy walk to the beach but the best of all was the large upstairs deck that had seating for all and a wonderful view.

The layout is nice, we had some issues with elevator and at one point needed to reset the breaker for it but overall, the home was very nice for our family. The view of the ocean coming up the stairs in the morning was excellent and being able to walk a short distance to the beach was great too. Sitting on the top porch is the best view not so much for the bottom one as you can’t see much but it is still nice. Some of the fans in the bedrooms don’t work well and outdoor furniture is a little hard to sit on with cushions being a bit moldy. Overall would rate it a good stay. Happy we made some great memories with our family.

Family get together

The house was everything we expected and more. So many appropriate extras - lights on the steps, carpet at top of stairs for shoes and first rate appliances. We had a marvelous time and thank you for making your home available to our family. We have every intention of returning! If i had one thing i would change it would be the towels which did dry quickly but were very small. Thanks again for a great week!!!!

The accommodations did not disappoint for our family of 14. The description and photos accurately presented this vacation home. Oak Island exceeded our expectations as a clean, enjoyable, and low crowd destination. I took away one star from the property manager because I left an email about a couple of items on day 1 and had to follow up 3 days later. No bid deal. Just using the rating system.

Beautiful home on Oak Island

My family of 10 just got back from a 1 week stay at Naut a Bad Gig. The house was beautiful and was set up very nicely for our 6 adults and 4 children. The kitchen was very well equipped. We all loved our private pool. The short walk to the beach access was easy for everone including the kids. Also great views of the ocean from the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies. We definitely used the elevators for moving suitcases and bringing up groceries. We did contact the managers a couple of times at the start of our week and always received a prompt and helpful response. I would highly recommend this rental house and Oak Island.

This property is clean, has plenty of room for our family of 12, and is well maintained. Communication with the iTrip staff was excellent. The house was as advertised including the gourmet kitchen, featuring everything needed to cook for a big family plus a dining table that seats 12! The outdoor space was one of our favorite features of this house — deck facing the ocean had large table for dining plus comfortable seating for conversation in the mornings and evenings! Kids loved the pool and adults had places to sit around the pool that were in the shade. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Only complaint was with the outdoor grill — propane tank needed to be replaced, which the staff did immediately when we called. However, it was in such need of cleaning (couldn’t burn off the grime) that we decided not to use it during our stay and adjusted our menu.
